I wouldn't recommend U-Haul to anyone. I ordered a furniture dolly - when I went to get my truck there was no furniture dolly. When I tried to call. Trying to resolve it the main Topaz location kept sending us to the general phone line, who said they can't do anything and for us to try and get another one at the main location (meaning we'd have to drive across town from our pick up location). Then the Topaz location says they don't have any dollys for rent but they will SELL us one?!? They refused to try and right the mistake by allowing us to use a "for sale" one and instead told us our only option was to buy one. Everyone from the in store location (staff and manager) to the people on the phone were unhelpful, just repeated that there was nothing they could do, even when we offered pretty reasonable solutions. We had to drive across town again to a seperate entity at U-Haul on Queens who then rented us the only dolly in the store. What a disaster. It just goes to show, even if you pre-book everything and plan ahead, U-Haul will still find a way to mess up and then go out of its way to be extra unhelpful and waste your time on moving day where time is of the essence.

Ankit TThe service was very good. I have no complaints. The only thing I would change - is the gas. I think that the tank should be full when rented and full when returned. Trying to calculate how much gas I used never has worked for me, and I think I always end up putting in more than I used. If the tank started out full - I wouldn't have that problem.
IRVIN SFuel tank must be full. It's easier to return the truck with a full tank than struggling to fill the tank to exact level it was before picking it up.

Rupert GThe truck was filthy when i picked it up and the location doesn't have the best parking. I had booked a trailer 30 days in advance that UHaul at the last minute couldn't provide. This changed all my plans and was extremely frustrating. I ended up having to pay double the cost to rent a truck. Definitely felt like a "bait-n-switch"!

SARWAR NPlease send the code to the safety box when the truck is returned. I had to take the key off of the chain and shove it through the door because you didn't give me the code.

Jean Gi deliver my vehicle 20 mins before my drop off time and he signed me out after it crossed drop of time this is cheating the store did that not good work ethics very disappointed.
JAGDIP REverything went well with the truck but the cashier never payed me my cash back from the deposit.
Danielle JThe location was good and the people were nice. My experience with Uhaul wasn't so good though. They didn't have the truck I reserved. I ended up spending about 2 hours on the phone to get a smaller truck a day late. Found out they overbook so someone ends up screwed. This is a central booking system- nothing to do with this particular location.
DEBORAH LThe lock was out of service, and required 45min of work to get the rollers moving at all. Calling customer support resulted in being on hold without human interaction for the duration of trying to get the lock to open.
