Truck was filthy and people in the store weren't very knowledgeable at all on the system. I was there for over an hour trying to rent the truck and then you charged me wrong and I sent email and y'all never respondedSHANA F.
Took 1 1/2 hrs to get the truck once we got to the pick up location which was about 15 to 20 miles further than we wanted and was located in a town we didn't want as there wasn't a 15 ft truck available for the time we requested in Lake Jackson, Tx. The clerk had no idea what to do and the computer kept messing up and was slow. We had movers waiting on us when we got home and at 165 $(i think more) an hour, Uhaul should pay for the delay for the fact there were problems at the pick up place as mentioned above. You charged extra mileage â€¦why? It was uhaul who changed the pickup location. This was a horrible experience. Shame on Uhaul for not being more organized. I'll not use them again and you shouldn't eitherâ€¦.we'll at least don't use the one out in country and way out of Angelton, Tx at a rinky dink grocery store!!!Tobin P.

It took an hour and a half to refund 20 $because they didn't have any utility or furniture dollies. I had prepaid for these items because they said they had some. Because of the delay I was unable to finish getting everything because I had to leave town to drive 130 miles in time to pick up my kids from the school. Won't be going back to that location.tammy A.

Trailer could not be picked up at original location. Said it got a flat the day before and would take another day, but if that's so, why wasn't I notified. Another trailer was found, but 25 miles away. When checking out, my trailer was charged to another customer. After thirty minutes of on hold, the other customer and I solved our problem so we could leave and get on with our business. Only three hours after my pickup time.David L.

The area where truck was kept was extremely difficult to drive in. Muddy, crowded and narrow road. The people were friendly but the process took much longer than expected given that I had already done everything online ahead of time.JENNIFER T.

Horrible experiance, he was rude, not helpful, didnt want to be bothered by us,tried to refuse our return, made me back it in and unhook that very heavy trailor. Not good when you are exhausted and tired and jyst ready to be done took us for ever to get helped and checked out. His company should not be a UHaul distributor and receiver, does not look good for uhaulCATHY W.

Ordered a furniture dolly because I needed it. Didn't have it. Waited for another rental then 5 people in line for snacks, only to them try to charge me mileage already included in the agreement I already had. Finally got past that, said truck had 7/8 gas, only had 3/4. Had to start whole process over - yet again. Horrible service and experience.J W M.

this is a service station, which there are a continuous flow of people buying goods in store which delays uhaul checkout, also if reserved online checkout should be quicker such as showing i.d. and credit card and renter can depart quicker!!!!RJ S.

We were supposed to pick up in Lake Jackson, but it was not set up correctly to pick up after hours so we had to go to Angleton instead. I would not recommend the Lake Jackson location.DAVID SHAWN C.
Rental was pod for in advance through online check in. The associate still wanted to run my card. She even wrote down my credit card info including the security code on her own personal note pad. It was very suspicious. She was unable to properly dispatch the rental. Spent well over an hour waiting for her to finally call web support to resolve the issueKyle W.

This is the second time I've rented from there and each time has been a nightmare! They always charge more than what I've been told and always find away to take more money than any other uhaul I've rented from. Next time I will drive a little further and rent with Ryder.Juanita L.

The truck was filthy on the inside with trash, it had more miles on it then the paperwork claimed and less gas. However the lady that checked me out was very friendly and explained to me how to log all the defects into the system, which I did.Mary S.

The auto carrier I rented was unsafe. One safety chain was missing, one wheel fender was damaged and unable to use the front lock down, and the hook for the rear lockdown chain was broken off.John P.

I reserved a uhaul trailer in one location close to home. My husband got there and the place was closed and no trailer our size on the lot. I called Uhaul and was told they changed the location to a location nearly an hour away, several days prior to pick up day. I was never notified of the change. Got to the new location and the girl had just then got the information on her computer for our pickup. I reserved and paid for a dozen moving blankets. I only received 2 as they didnt have any more. Poor service online and on phone. There was no concern at all that we had been inconvenienced.Stephen B.

Have better customer service. Im being charged for turning it in. You have the truck. Its in good condition. more gas than when i was given the truck and im being charged 161 because your employee didnt ask me where i was returning the truck. And no one at uhual is trying to work with me. I got it from a convent store uhual pick up and was interrupted 5 times during ny pick up cause she had other customers. Get more stores. I will never use uhual again and I'll advise others not to either.Jenie M.

UHaul is a very tiny portion of Cross Country's business so there is very little UHaul equipment and almost no signage. I actually drove right by it and came back to ask for directions. The attendant was very personable and helpful. This store needs more UHaul visibility.Steve Z.

This was my first time renting a U-Haul and didn't really know what to expect. We completed the transaction by simply leaving the key with me and left. We did not inspect the vehicle. The vehicle had only a quarter tank of gas and the furniture pads that I ordered were missing (which I didn't know till after getting it back to the apartment.) the lady told me to make sure I return the U-Haul with the same amount of gas I received. pressed for time, I continued with the move.Jacob K.

This is the second time I have used this location. They didn't have a pickup truck available, again, within 20+ miles. They are extremely poorly trained. It's filthy and there's so much junk on the counter you can't see the employee at the computer, and they kept interrupting our transaction every time someone else came in to make a purchase. This time the employee tried to charge me a 100 $deposit and then told me the insurance was required. I was told over the phone when I made my reservation that it was not. Then when I tried calling I was told that money could not be refunded over the phone because they couldn't verify whether there was damage to the truck. If there was damage wouldn't I be responsible regardless of if I choose not to purchase insurance? Also, the gas station at this â€œcertified U-Haul locationâ€ was completely out of gas and we had to drive additional miles to find another gas station. I am completely fed up with this entire experience.suzie S.
