I rated it average just because the gentleman was very accommodating and nice on getting our van and trailer ready. He had equipment in different lots, a couple of blocks apart. I'm somewhat disappointed with U-Haul. We made reservation a week ahead of time so that it would be ready at the location we were going to pick up. Instead we had to travel 70 miles out of our route to get the truck and trailer. Letting us know 24 hrs ahead of time was a rush situation to change plans and route.

laura MI think a spare tire should have been included with the trailer rental. A flat tire would have left me stranded on the road.

Lisa MTook over 45 minutes to get equipment (car trailer), as first trailer had flat tire and missing safety chains. Had to go pick up trailer from another storage just down the road. Ratchet straps were very hard to use as they were pretty rusty. Towed ok, but once loaded there was a pronounced vibration from the trailer.
John SThe office is always closed, so it is a drop your keys in the lock box situation. The texting links from uhaul did work fine though.

Kellie BThis office is always closed and a client is always left to figure out where to drop off a trailer (this is my second time in a few weeks). The drop off/pick up lot is unimproved and jammed with other trailers, broken down cars and junk. It's almost impossible to turn around, impossibly cramped to back a trailer into it, and never attend to by an employee. Going to another location next time. This place is a poor image of the U-Haul brand.

Shawn RAdd some lights to the front of the tow dolly. To see where the tires are at. At night the dolly was pitch black from the drivers perspective cause it had no lights or reflection to see where the wheel of the tow dolly were. Other than that. Good.
Moises THave hard copies of the paperwork for me to have in hand. This last transaction was 1 000 % online, no printed paper and shame on me, I got a lot of surprises when I turned it in.
Kurt TThe truck was not actually at the location above. I was promised with a phone call the Sat prior to pickup that the above location would have the truck. The owner of the above location went above and beyond and found me a truck at another location. That was great service by the above shop owner in a pinch.

GUY TThey were not there they were late getting in when you call; they say they had some stuff to do, just leave the truck, and they will get to it. We tried to return on Friday, and they closed early with no instruction on how to return, then they were late on Monday morning. Then put charges on our account that was not suppose to be there

Robert SI needed a car dolly to pull my mothers car. While there he had no safety latch for car. So he left - told us to load car ourselves and meet him down the street. I had to call someone to come help me, because we are both seniors. Finally we got the car on and drove to where he was. He added the safety chain and we pointed out no blinker on left side. He said"'just tell them it worked when you left". This took 2 hours. When I got to my destination ( 6 hrs away) my son showed me only one tire was still strapped onto the dolly. He never checked to make sure everything was appropriately done. I feel she needs a refund for this due to complications , loading ourselves, 2 hrs of time, and possible loss of car on hwy.
Janice PThe inside of the windshield was filmed. This created a safety issue at night. The steering wheel is as uncomforable as it can be. The seat belt is irratating on the neck. The right mirrors block the view from the right I had to have a passenger ride with me to check for traffic from the right when at intersections. I have driven many other rental companies vehicles. This was the WORST vehicle I have ever driven. Never again will I rent or drive a Uhaul vehicle.

Joel DWas pretty simple to reserve online. Was quick and easy to pick up. But the location was a little congested to maneuver around to get the trailer. And the location forgot to log it back in the next day. But otherwise was a great experience.

Christopher SThe tongue of the trailer was slightly bent. The gentleman at the location was very slow using his iPhone to do the transaction took longer than it should have. The place that the trailers were stored was not adequate for backing in and pulling trailers out

DARRELL HThe reason for the one star is that the truck we ordered close to home broke so we were told we would have another truck at 8:30 am the next morning but we would have to drive an hour away. We did because we needed the truck but when we got there we were told it wasn't there and wouldn't be for another 3 hours! Very poor service! When you plan months ahead for a truck you expect a truck!

JOEL CThe truck was dirty inside and in the cargo area. I called UHAUL customer service to complain and was told a regional supervisor would contact me; however know one made contact. The pick up location did not have all the equipment I reserved. The truck also violently shacked at speeds over 55. The over all experience was poor. I am a regular customer and have never had anything but great things to say about my experience. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed.

David OTerry was very helpful in renting us the trailer.we had such a problem renting a trailer from Arizona that we had reserved 3 weeks ahead of time and got it canceled by the company in Arizona 3 days before we were to leave so we had to rent a trailer in Texas and haul it all the way to Arizona empty then loaded up in Arizona and bring it back. I was not at all happy with you all and if it hadn't been for Terry up at Buchanan dam we probably would have went and bought a trailer and took it out there and brought it back. This had to be the worst customer relations from U-Haul I have ever seen in the worst part about it is I used to be a U-Haul dealer in Indiana and we never treated customers like this.

PAUL MI had excellent service, and Terry was extremely helpful on all my questions. The other reviewers seem to complain that they had to go to a repair shop to rent the u-haul. This shouldn't be an issue for several reasons. First he rents u-hauls and his living is the repair shop, he has to keep up with both. God forbid if the reviewers had to balance two jobs at once and deal with people that practically wanted the u-haul truck delivered to their front door. Good sign of a mechanic is a shop that it is used. Go to a shop with pristine floors that you could eat off of and your guaranteed to be paying too much. Terry is a down to earth guy who will give you straight answers and follow through with everything he promised and you just don't find that in any kind of business these days. As far as the u-haul and the service from Terry, I give them 5 stars. Keep doing what you are doing sir!
DAKOTA CThere isn't an office at this location, it's just a garage. You just have to walk through the garage until you find someone working on a car to have them help you. So seems a bit disorganized. The truck I had was clean, however the air conditioner didn't work. It happened to be 107 degrees that day too, so pretty unpleasant.
Gregory HThe location was dirty. The representative did not have our reservation ready at the time we reserved it. He was unconcerned about COVID and said masks weren't necessary (as he invited me into the 5'x7' office with recirculating air). He then drove in front of us down to the pickup lot in his truck with the CONFEDERATE FLAG painted on the hood. Are you guys serious about partnering with this guy? I can't imagine what it would be like for a black person to experience this location.
