Trailer was parked right in a muddy puddle. Got mud all inside the trucks cab. Uhaul needs to not go digital and virtual when conducting business with customers!!! Explanation of details on drop off were sketchy at best. As a result I was charged an extra day on my rental. Drop off location was closed on Sundays and couldn't drop it off until Monday. When uhaul selects a business to handle its affairs, it would be suggested that the damn place is open to conduct business!!! Never will use uhaul again nor will I recommend them! Bad experience all the way through.....

I had requested a different drop off date and that was never updated. So I received a call wondering if i was going to return the trailer. There was not a individual on site it was all done through the phone and text. If i had not already known how to hook up the trailer, i would have been completely out of luck.
Christopher BNo issues

Michael KWonderful help, Jen is competent and very professional!!
shane hOffice is a walk from the vehicles. Could not locate a key drop box. Blankets were piled on the windshield, and some had fallen onto the dirt/mud (it was raining pretty hard). Staff was friendly.
PATRICK RWe actually dropped it off in Salmon Idaho
LORI YI believe the people there are just getting settled in. they picked us up at the airport and got us on the road. GLAD THEY WERE THERE
WILLIAM WVery helpful person at the checkout she even came out to help me hook up the trailer. Good old fashioned customer service.
GARY DFor the larger tandem axel trailers it would be helpful to have a tongue Jack for connecting to taller trucks because the trailer can't pivot on a single axel so you're lifting the weight of the trailer. I expected a little more foresight from a company like Uhaul
TERRE TInside of trailer was dirty and I had to sweep out at home before loading it
Matt Lquestion about pricing was told $30 but billed credit card $80 called to be corrected.

Richard DThe local dealer helped us the best they could, but we reserved a 20 foot truck well in advance. But two days before we needed the equipment we were told the truck we reserved was not available. Too late for us to make other plans. had to take the smaller truck. We wondered why bother to make a reservation, if your side does not keep their part of the bargain.
DAVID OPamela went out of her way to make us feel welcome & to make the process easy.
LAURA HThe people in Salmon are fabulous!
Jeanine GQuality of service and assistance was top shelf. The staff was with us all the way. Keep up the great work!
DOUGLAS EI hate moving but these guys and gals were great..
WILLIAM RLocation was over stocked with trailers and trucks. So, being told pricing was due to lack of equipment didn't add up.
GLORIA Bevery thing perfect
MICHAEL RI was under a time frame & had to drive 6o miles on a river road to pick it up. Wiper blades were torn, inside windshield was stricken other than it was good.
LARRY MExcellent customer service. I really appreciated the efforts they made to make my rental possible.
Tyler KThese folks went above and beyond for me. The moving experience was far less stressful as a result of their efforts. In fact, they made it fun. Many thanks for the great work!
DOUGLAS Ecordial and willing to assist- good service
HAROLD JEverything was great
ANTHONY WYou can fire Alice at the Billings, Montana location who cancelled my reservation with zero notice causing me to have to travel to Idaho to get a truck for a move from Montana to North Carolina.
Tessa MEveryone had friendly customer service, they were amazing.l would definitely would say it was worth the drive. It was was a wonderful experience.
SARA HI picked up a last minute rental and was given a box truck. No one walked outside with me to note the defects. I took pictures of the chipped windshield. I was given only 441 miles to use when the trip was almost 500 miles total- no extra stops and only interstate. I believe the charge was to high for a basic truck that didn't have any extras, no power anything or cruise control. I specifically asked about one with cruise control. Over all not happy with any of this experience. I will ask my company to not use this listing in the future.
JONATHAN CNot much. I was satisfied. Stoe clerks helpful.
ROBERT DGood service. They had what I needed. Quick pickup and easy return.
MICHAEL MThe last there was beyond helpful, she alone is why we will use y'all again
David EExcellent service in Salmon, ID--EXCEPT that the 26-foot truck I had reserved weeks earlier WAS NOT AVAILABLE. The traffic manager in Boise attempted to notify us as we were incommunicado enroute through the mountain passes on our 250-mile trip from Boise to Salmon. We did not discover U-Haul's failure to abide by their agreement until we checked text messages the morning after our arrival, which was the day before we were scheduled to receive our 26-foot truck. The traffic manager simply said that no 26-footers were available. None. Anywhere. She said we would have to take a 20-foot truck. She said we could tow a trailer behind the smaller vehicle, which was out of the question for us. Upon checking with the vendor in Salmon, we discovered a 26-foot truck in the lot. The traffic manager in Boise told us that it was reserved for another party, and that we could not take it. (Incidentally, it was still sitting in the lot when we departed Salmon days later.) The episode caused great consternation and stress as we weighed our options over the next couple of days. With careful packing (and re-packing), we were able to cram most of our freight into a 20-foot truck, although we had to leave some items behind in Salmon for another trip later this summer. Pamela at DJ Larson Enterprises in Salmon was very sympathetic and helpful, and we enjoyed working with her through this dilemma. However--we feel that U-Haul abrogated our agreement and did not notify us about their failure until we were well into a six-hour mountain journey to Salmon. This was unconscionable. I have been heavily involved in customer service throughout my lifetime career, and, had I broken my promise to a customer, as did U-Haul, I would have moved heaven and earth to make it right. If any of my staff had pulled a stupid stunt like this, heads would have rolled. Unfortunately, this left a very bad taste in our mouths towards U-Haul. Promises made need to be kept. Period.
