DAVID MRented a 4x8 trailer to move daughter to college from Hibbing, MN to Troy, NY. We were unsure if we wanted to drop the trailer in Troy after using it or bring it back to Hibbing as the price was nearly $200 more to leave it. The local representative told us that if we changed our minds later we could change our reservation and pay the difference. So when we did decide to leave the trailer the national representative told us they could not do that, and now it would cost $600 to leave the trailer because the trailer left the lot. I understand there is a cost for one way use, but to double that one way cost once the trailer leaves the lot seems punitive. The national representative was unfriendly and unhelpful, local representative did what he could. In the end we brought the trailer back to Hibbing. Not impressed by the customer service from the national representative.
Jay WI like that this service area is open 24/7, but the last two times we used it, no one was there. So in good faith, we dropped off our U-Hauls and fortunately it all worked out.

SHAWN HIt went well and the size was just right for our needs, along with the price of rental. The online reservation was perfect. I don't recall the young fellow's name, but he made check in very easy and assisted with the hook up. No complaints.

frank gOnly needed the truck for 1 day automatic charge for 2 days. Asked for partial refund, no response. Bluetooth unusable because of all the other numbers programmed in it.

Robert SThe young man who disconnected the trailer from my truck was kind and did a good job. I did not get any confirmation that the trailer was returned. I returned the trailer on Thursday, April 25th, the day after I picked it up in Anoka (one day earlier than it was due back). Two weeks later I received a bill for not returning the trailer until May 7th, this was very disturbing to me. I have lost faith in U-Haul

Loren CI dropped off trailer early and was charged an additional day. The place was closed on a Friday morning due to some kind of emergency and there was no one to report the drop off too. Later that day I got an email charging me with another day that also contained a link for an online drop off and I did.
