Customer service was TOP TIER at Dekra!!!! The MOD at the pick up location was PHENOMENAL as I knew nothing about figuring out estimated mileage or even size of truck I needed and he was very helpful and knowledgeable with that!!!

Maria MartinezI have always used uhaul for moving needs and I've always been very pleased. The agent was very courtesy and polite. The equipment/truck was terrible. However when I brought it back the agent was very concerned and showed compassion. Other then equipment issues I would rate Uhaul a very good company.

John HoofnagleMy estimate for my uhaul was about $78 but my bill was $114. I used 30 miles as the estimated distance and I only drove 31 miles but was never told why the charge varied so much from the estimate. Other than that the entire experience was great.
Brandon SeymourToo busy with inspections to devote the proper attention to the return process. Wanted me to leave the vehicle without receiving any paperwork or confirmation of mileage, gas or damage. Very unprofessional and discourteous especially when compared with the pick-up location, personnel and process.
Matt RobertsThere were two lock boxes for keys for online check in on the outside of the building but they didn't utilize them. We had to wait on the person at the shop, who was really busy, just to get access to the key. This wasted a lot of our time. Also, we needed a utility dolly and this location didn't have any.
Jett ClackThe only issue I found was in the maintenance. The ratchets need grease and it was hard to crank the belt on both side. This location the customer hooks up the trailer and then they inspect it, totally different than the U-Haul facilities. But the ride was really good and the trailer performed well, lights and suspension!!
Willie CrawleyClerk was not helpful at all to resolve the issue regarding drop off the equipment. I had to call Uhaul to put me on the list again. Once my name is in the list, Clerk asked me to unhook the equipment and put trailer back in place by myself. I don't know how good he is for his main business, but not for Uhaul customers.

John GundersonLuckily I can drive to maintain dolly in reverse position. Once lot is full becomes Hardly no maneuverability room.
JAMES RICHMONDMy appoinment was at 10am, drove from Charlotte, NC, and the place was closed until 11:40am, on a Saturday. No signs of any kind. After they opened, there was only one sick employee doing everything, so we waited for 35 more minutes for the service. Their computer system was down, so that was another issue thay delayed the service. So unprofessional.
Linnette Soler-SantiagoThe truck hadn't been cleaned. It wasn't ready when I arrived. However, there wasn't enough staff to get it done. The truck was old, by new standards, and not well maintained.
James HerzogTrailer was old, not cleaned out, pick up location was Overcrowded with no COVID precautions for social distancing, waited almost 30 minutes while attendant Worked on car inspections, and took a additional 15 minutes to figure out uncooperative online system.
louis currenWe picked up our 4x8 cargo trailer and when we got home it had pulled so bad that we checked the tires. One of them had a huge chunk of tread gone all the way to the inside of the tire. We did however call the place we got it from and took it back. They were able to get us another one but it put us really late leaving for our vacation. We were shocked at the condition of that tire and very lucky it did not blow on the interstate bringing it to our house.

DEMETRIEST SPENCERTruck fan belt squeaked nearly the whole way, I spent 20 minutes just cleaning the windows and cab/box. Truck was showing a dash message of 20 miles to empty. Never was told or shown on the contract that it had to have 1/4 tank. Overall very dissatisfied.

butch johnsonWhen I picked up the 15' Truck, it had not been cleaned whatsoever, in the front where you drive, nor in the back. We actually had to clean the back of the truck so we could pack our things. The driver's area was disgusting with crumbs, spilled drink remnants, etc. The truck was also 9 miles to empty when I picked it up, which was unfortunate due to the fact that I was rushed. I was rushed because I set up an appointment with Uhaul at Dobys Shell/Uhaul in Burlington because they were open at 7am. I was called later by an off-site Uhaul representative informing me I actually had to pick up the van at Dekra on Alamance Rd in Burlington because the location I had intended to reserve the truck at would not have my vehicle. This would not have been an issue, however, they did not open until 9am. Our movers were scheduled to arrive at our apartment at 9am. Due to all of this, and having to immediately go to a gas station, we lost an hours worth of paid time with the mover's we hired. It was not a good first experience with UHaul whatsoever.

DALE LOVELYMy scheduled time to pick up was 8am no one showed up until 8:45am. putting us an hour behind. Then the guys was turning customers away that needed their cars inspected. Telling them it would not be up and ready until 10am and to go to the Webb Ave location. He was not friendly at all. When he did show up late he got out of the car and smoked before he even went in to unlock.
