Maria MNo issues with the truck, everything was great. Pick-up process using my phone was no problem. But later I was not able to return the truck online on my phone. I checked back in as best I could, but the "pictures" kept causing the process to "memory" crash and it would force a restart from the beginning. Cell phone signal was good. I was partially able to submit some pictures for fuel/mileage and answer their questions. I tried several times with the same results, so I locked the doors and turned in the key at 10 pm. Otherwise everything was great. Now I'm following up with Uhaul directly to make sure the return was Ok.

Ying ZI had a question during pick up and had to call - both the representatives were excellent, so helpful and informed. However I sat on hold for 20 min before talking to someone, which when you're sitting outside on a hot day not knowing how to get your vehicle with people waiting for you is too long. You need more representatives for questions.

Ericka WThe internet service to U-Haul was not adequate to do check out. Also I was not able to put it back in the same spot because another parked rental vehicle was obstructing my turning radius. My truck was clean and worked very well. Was very easy to drive and to load. Everything was fine.
Shani SI originally had a reserved pick up at 8 E Oregon Ave. I get there and my truck was not staged. I had reserved a 15' truck with a dolly. So I called uhaul and the best they could do was find me a staged 15' truck at this new location, no dolly. All this running around delayed the start of my moving day and I ended up not having a dolly. It was very frustrating. And I even called the day before my reservation to make sure that everything would be ready the next day. It wasn't. I definitely would not recommend 8 E Oregon Ave location. I'm just glad this new location had a truck ready so I could get started.
Maudo RRenting by mobile was the worst experience for me. It's time consuming and not easy to navigate. For someone that may not be familiar with the internet it's very difficult to use. Please find a different way to navigate through the rental contract by mobile.
Wanda BAuto transporter was available at this location however my contract could be changed and I had to go into south Philadelphia to pick up the auto transport which added miles on the truck and delayed the start of my trip by 2 hours. I was charged 12 for over mileage.

YAHMERE WI have had mostly less than good experiences with Uhaul but this location was entirely different. Helpful, friendly customer service which I have never received at a typical uhaul location. In fact I had reserved at an official Uhaul location and I was late so they gave away my vehicle even though I prepaid and the lady was so indifferent and rude. I went online and found this location within another business and it was by far the best rental experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I will rent from DiDonato's again.
Mindy EFirst of all, the guys were great here. Quick and friendly and had the trailer disconnected in minutes. It's a repair garage with lots of other things going on, so it's confusing about where to pull in but it was fine.

Benjamin DClean the inside do the U-Haul before renting it. The floor was filthy and there was trash inside in the truck from the last users.
Thomas PAuto transport trailer was damaged. After we loaded our car onto it one of the tires began to rub onto the metal fender causing it to burn. We were stranded on the side of the highway and this location had no idea how to help us. We contacted uhaul's roadside assistance and had to wait hours before anyone was able to get to us. We ended up having roadside assistance take back the auto transport trailer to get a refund for our troubles. This caused us to have to postpone our moving date and to lose money on an air bnb we booked.
Adriel MEmployees did not know what they were doing. Took extremely long time just to get the keys and on my way. Typically only takes a few mins. Normally never have an issue.

Paul KI moved my reservation time an hour later, but it did not reflect the update in the app resulting in it taking almost an hour to sort out access to the vehicle. I then had to pay $35 for the "extra" time, when in reality has there been no issue, I wouldn't have needed extra time.

Warren JThe truck was extremely dirty. The cabin was covered in sweet syrup. The loading compartment had gas spilled inside, smelled like gas and was slippery. The truck brakes were in poor condition. The person I rented from was rude and had me wait for 30 minutes for no reason.

Freddie LThis was not the location that I ordered my truck! NO ONE contacted me to let me know that the location changed to this one. The truck was dirty and smelled like smoke. The truck was reservation guaranteed and I did not receive the $50. Also since the truck was at a different location and no one let me know, this pushed back my move by two hours.

dennis dThis UHaul location is in a sketchy part of the city. According to two of my relatives who live there. Our dropoff was after hours, so we were apprehensive, but the dropoff was without incident. But, I tried the on line after hours drop off link and answered a few questions, but when it came to taking a picture the app did not do as it should have. It just didn't take the picture of the equipment. So I just used my phone camera and took a picture OK. I have it to show you if it is needed. That's it. I'd never used a tow dolly before but it worked just as advertised. Thank you, UHaul.

Frederick IMost of the trucks are out of service. The auto transport I rented should have been out of service! Frame was bent, so made transporting vehicle extremely difficult!

Denise MI ordered a 10 inch truck at Allegheny but received a 9 in cargo van miles I had to travel 11 miles away to get in south Philly. I ordered for 9 am but what schedule for 10 am. Seeing several 10 inch trucks sitting there at the pickup location was the icing on the cake.
T'Keyah DThis location was fine. No one was there both times so no customer interaction experience/rated. U-Haul in general would get negative reviews - app is very glitchy, customer support was nice but frustratingly slow and one of the reps was completely inept, and we were overcharged for mileage not used which I'll be in touch about soon.

HARLEY EI reserved a truck and my pick up location got changed, which is fine, but when I went there at my pick up time, the auto body was closed. They aren't open on weekends. I had no information on how to get my key, so I had to call support and after an hour I was finally transferred to a manager who was able to provide my my key code. My pick up time was for 9:00am and I didn't leave with my truck until 10. One rep that helped me switched my reservation time to 9:30 while on the phone. When moving when it's 95 degrees outside, it's frustrating to have your move delayed because of miscommunication. I do feel that I should be compensated in some way for the delay in my truck pick up.
