My only complaint was when I went to return the vehicle I couldn’t do it online because it couldn’t pick up my location, I had to call and I don’t know if this was sufficient or if I was charged more money.

They hardly spoke to me. I tried to tell them about how my contract was wrong (because the uhaul number I was returning was different than what was on my contract) but they were uninterested in listening to me, said it would be fine. But sure enough, 3 weeks later I get a call from uhaul asking why I haven’t returned my uhaul yet. ??

24/7 truck share DOES NOT WORK. I missed a hotel reservation due to leaving late because I had to wait 2 hours until someone arrived to get the truck. Then I didn't get into my new hotel until after 2AM AND the other hotel wouldn't accept my cancellation. Because of the very bad customer service and 24/7 not working I lost over $100 on needing to book new hotels.

My uhaul was fine, but the location was poor. It took them 10-15 minutes to see us even though no other customers were there. Then after we dropped off the truck after use, I received an email from the personal email account of the man who gave us the truck. He referred to me as good looking and said it was nice to meet me and send a winking face. It was incredibly inappropriate and I will not be using that service again.

This place was fine. However, I asked to pick up the trailer in Crumm Lynne, PA. When I got the they didn't have it. I got no notice they would not have the trailer. The attendant helped get me one 45 minutes away but they seemed like they couldn't be bothered.

To be completely honest, my experience with U-Haul surpassed any and all expectations. My landlord sold the house, leaving me with an incredibly limited timeline to move out. After scrambling through the logistic processes of packing, cleaning, finding storage, etc., I set up my order. The service representative had let me know that my reservation didn't quite match up, and promptly changed it (helping me tremendously). The truck I had rented was incredibly clean. The instructions were incredibly clear. The mobile application and user interface was insightful / easy to follow, and left me with no questions. I would not only recommend U-Haul as a moving service to any and everyone I know, but will be using it very soon to move back into the city when I start my job and find a place to live. I want to take a moment to thank you for being there for me during an incredibly stressful time, and express how much it truly meant to have such an incredible service / staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Although I don’t fault DiDonatos for this, the so-called weatherproof trailer leaked rain water just above floor level from a split in the front wall which seems to have been pierced by something akin to a single forklift fork. The split was imperceptible during the walk around Inspection, due in large part to the overcast day. Our boxes containing newly purchased furniture were soaked along the edge placed at the front of the trailer.

The location did not have the hand truck that I had paid for; therefore, the staff member sent me to the Uhaul store on 12th and Washington Ave. in Philadelphia. When I traveled to the Uhaul store told me they could not release a U haul truck to me and I still was charged the 14.00 dollars without getting the the hand truck. The manager said he could not release the hand truck is name Andrew Curry.

There was an overall lack of empathy and concern for my moving situation throughout the process from the company. To begin, I requested my truck be ready at 7AM at a location only a few blocks from my apartment - I was told that I could get it at 10:30AM at a location ACROSS THE CITY IN PHILADELPHIA. This set my trip back by several hours and made me not be able to make it to Cleveland in one day (ultimately costing me and my family more than 500 dollars in hotel costs). I spoke with several representatives and they were not helpful or sympathetic to my issues. I also was originally told the truck would cost 550 dollars and it ended up being 660 - more than 800 including taxes. This are completely unacceptable business practices in my opinion. When I asked if I would be compensated for my time that was wasted, I was told that there was no way this would happen. I am extremely frustrated by my experience with Uhaul and would like to discuss this with someone and see if there is a way to remedy his horrible situation.

I was redirected here because the truck size I was "guaranteed" was given away. No one on the phone was helpful in any way and it took forever just to be told I needed to go somewhere else. Horrible customer service, I wil never use uhaul again and I will recommend your competitors to anyone that asks

I've been a U-Haul customer for several years, and this was without a doubt my worst pickup experience. Unfortunately, my preferred location was not available and a U-Haul representative informed me that I would have to pick up the requested vehicle at DiDonatos Auto Repair, which also shifted my pickup time by 30 minutes from 9:30 to 10:00 am because of their operating hours. Since this new pickup time now overlapped with my designated elevator time, I completed the quick checkout the day before and arrived early (9:45 am) on the day of the pickup in order to speed up the process. When I arrived, the mechanic (who was very friendly but sadly unable to process any of the U-Hauls) was the only one there. By 10:10 am, I asked if he could please call the U-Haul representative to see what the hold up was since we had an appointment for 10:00 am. It wasn't until 10:40 am that the man in charge of the U-Hauls finally arrived--40 minutes late. Although he saw us when he walked in he chatted with his mechanic for several more minutes until my friend went out of the waiting room to ask if he was, in fact, the U-Haul representative. He confirmed and she asked if he could please help us since we were on a tight schedule because of my building's strict elevator policy. Not only did he not apologize for being 40 minutes late, but he actually yelled at us for asking that he tend to us. He walked away to some back room and used his mechanic as an intermediary to deal with us. When he finally called us back to complete the paperwork, I told him that I had already done the quick checkout so most of it should already be taken care of. He then tried to charge me again even though I told him I had prepaid. Thankfully, the system wouldn't let him, but we then had to wait for him to call the help desk for them to tell him what he was doing was wrong. By the time we got back to my apartment we lost a full hour of our elevator time. As they say, shit happens, but the extent of his tardiness and the unabashed rudeness he displayed in dealing with me and my friend is unacceptable.

The inspection must had been skipped because the passanger side mirror was unstable and the taillight was out and it made it really difficult for me to drive all the way to IL. I am highly frustrated with the whole experience. It was awful!

Truck was dropped off on Sunday when the shop was closed. Return was not processed until 11:28 AM on Monday which was more than 2 days after the rental. I was charged for an additional day - $62.48 despite returning the truck early.

I WAS CONFIRMED AT LEIGH AVENUE in Philadelphia I was sent to the wrong location When I got there they did not have a truck for me... I had to drive to Snyder AVenue location. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THE Guys was nice but WHY DID YOU PEOPLE SEND ME TO THE WRONG LOCATION??????

I had to wait a bit for the owner of the business to give me the paperwork and keys for the van. If they are not ready at 9am when they open, this van should not be listed as available starting at 9am. However, he was very nice and helpful once he was ready to process the rental. The van had a lot of trash in the cab on the floor behind the seats. Otherwise, it was fine.
