The process to rent the truck from the app was a nightmare. I had to “wait for approval” for over 30 minutes even though all of the documents were uploaded. Even though it took 45 minutes to rent the truck, the time for the return was not extended. There is no clear signs of where to park at this location. The owner of the store next to the u hail told me not to park in a certain area otherwise my car would get towed.

I don't like the fact that no one told me about a 100.00 hold fuck me up for the next day I couldn't get my car out the shop everyday my car sits in there it's 45 dollars a day yeah basically I hate u-haul ever will rent again and they charged me 6 dollars and some change for gas that I put in there I put 7 dollars and if my u-haul was 55.30 why was 72. Dollars and some change was took off my card y'all tooooooo fucking extra for me.But y'all devil's will have y'all day in hell I will personally be there to open the door for yall.Uhaul does the most and I don't like that shit

Attendant was not aware that truck was booked and had to call someone else. Nopaper work available showing fees. Truck was dirty and smelled cigarette smoke. WHen truck was returned there was still no hard copy of charges and told it would be emailed. No email came. When credit card charge bills came the Uhaul charge was higher but since there was no hard copy then there is no explanation. Not professionally conducted.

For the next customer, I'd advise for an employee or two to carefully listen to what the customers are saying in regards to drop-off locations. I was able to drop off my trailer a day earlier but due to being not informed well by one employee, I could've gotten charged a lot of money. GEORGE KING JR from Hagerstown, PA helped greatly and I would like to give him all the praise for making my experience great in the end. Please give him a reward of some sort.

Your survey does not allow me to comment on my overall experience with u-haul which was terrible. The pick up location itself fine. The man running the business was great. The problem was that it was nowhere near my home. I had arranged for another location and was informed two days before the pickup that the location was changed. Also, due to your phone system I could not speak to an actual human being without waiting an hour. When I did speak to someone about the "bait and switch" I was stonewalled. I will never rent from U-haul again. You run things for your own convenience and not for the customer.

This was not the original location I reserved a vehicle at. When I arrived, they didn't have the vehicle I had reserved so they sent me to DiDonato's. They treated me well but were significantly further from both my house and the location I was moving things from, which added extra money to my bill.

Manager and other representatives have to check the Uhaul system when speaking with customers as information changes all the time. Not sure if drop off locations are supposed to take pictures of the gas gauge so that their interpretation of drop off gas level is vetted by others and not just taking the word of one person?

24/7 pickup was smooth and straightforward, Didonatos shop had everything ready to go for me! Brand new clean truck.

This location doesn't have a dedicated uhaul rep. So to pick up the shop had me wait for over 20min while they attend to their customers, then try to get the uhaul rep on the phone, which they weren't picking up. Finally they called back and went through the process over the phone. In total a 5-10min pickup turned into 35-40min.

The U-haul app made it extremely difficult to access the van initially. Kept locking me out and did not register the correct pickup time so I had to spend a long time on the phone waiting to actually get the van at DiDonatos.

When I picked up my truck the lock was broken. It made retrieving the key very difficult. I had to spend time with customer service before getting the key.

This is an auto repair shop that has U-haul trucks. I had a reservation which was not ready when I arrived. No one on staff knew how to handle truck reservations, so it had to be done remotely with someone over the phone. There is also no safe place to park your car while you move. I will not use this location again.

There were dry leaves all over the cargo floor. They said I need to clean this. They weren't mine. I don't appreciate them accusing me. Also, it takes forever to finally get the key for the cargo van. I'm surprised that I'm being charged for full day rate instead of 4 hours. I only used 3 hours. What a ripoff!!!

am very unsatisfied with the service I received today:      - First the app and the website would not work when I arrived at 8:00 am   -Second it told another 45 minutes to get my reservations done by Katie to         complete . This put me hours behind on my job   - third me and carlo both notice dirt in the back of the van and in the driver's side floor, I made calls to D'Angelo to find our why my bill was no posted to my email. Carlo told me that the person doing the inspection claims that the van need cleaning in which I pointed out to him the dirty we noticed when I picked the van up. I then called Katie who claimed she would take care of it and call me back. She never did and when I called back I was told she when home for the day

My only complaint was when I went to return the vehicle I couldn't do it online because it couldn't pick up my location, I had to call and I don't know if this was sufficient or if I was charged more money.

They hardly spoke to me. I tried to tell them about how my contract was wrong (because the uhaul number I was returning was different than what was on my contract) but they were uninterested in listening to me, said it would be fine. But sure enough, 3 weeks later I get a call from uhaul asking why I haven't returned my uhaul yet. ??

24/7 truck share DOES NOT WORK. I missed a hotel reservation due to leaving late because I had to wait 2 hours until someone arrived to get the truck. Then I didn't get into my new hotel until after 2AM AND the other hotel wouldn't accept my cancellation. Because of the very bad customer service and 24/7 not working I lost over $100 on needing to book new hotels.

My uhaul was fine, but the location was poor. It took them 10-15 minutes to see us even though no other customers were there. Then after we dropped off the truck after use, I received an email from the personal email account of the man who gave us the truck. He referred to me as good looking and said it was nice to meet me and send a winking face. It was incredibly inappropriate and I will not be using that service again.

This place was fine. However, I asked to pick up the trailer in Crumm Lynne, PA. When I got the they didn't have it. I got no notice they would not have the trailer. The attendant helped get me one 45 minutes away but they seemed like they couldn't be bothered.

To be completely honest, my experience with U-Haul surpassed any and all expectations. My landlord sold the house, leaving me with an incredibly limited timeline to move out. After scrambling through the logistic processes of packing, cleaning, finding storage, etc., I set up my order. The service representative had let me know that my reservation didn't quite match up, and promptly changed it (helping me tremendously). The truck I had rented was incredibly clean. The instructions were incredibly clear. The mobile application and user interface was insightful / easy to follow, and left me with no questions. I would not only recommend U-Haul as a moving service to any and everyone I know, but will be using it very soon to move back into the city when I start my job and find a place to live. I want to take a moment to thank you for being there for me during an incredibly stressful time, and express how much it truly meant to have such an incredible service / staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Although I don't fault DiDonatos for this, the so-called weatherproof trailer leaked rain water just above floor level from a split in the front wall which seems to have been pierced by something akin to a single forklift fork. The split was imperceptible during the walk around Inspection, due in large part to the overcast day. Our boxes containing newly purchased furniture were soaked along the edge placed at the front of the trailer.

The location did not have the hand truck that I had paid for; therefore, the staff member sent me to the Uhaul store on 12th and Washington Ave. in Philadelphia. When I traveled to the Uhaul store told me they could not release a U haul truck to me and I still was charged the 14.00 dollars without getting the the hand truck. The manager said he could not release the hand truck is name Andrew Curry.

There was an overall lack of empathy and concern for my moving situation throughout the process from the company. To begin, I requested my truck be ready at 7AM at a location only a few blocks from my apartment - I was told that I could get it at 10:30AM at a location ACROSS THE CITY IN PHILADELPHIA. This set my trip back by several hours and made me not be able to make it to Cleveland in one day (ultimately costing me and my family more than 500 dollars in hotel costs). I spoke with several representatives and they were not helpful or sympathetic to my issues. I also was originally told the truck would cost 550 dollars and it ended up being 660 - more than 800 including taxes. This are completely unacceptable business practices in my opinion. When I asked if I would be compensated for my time that was wasted, I was told that there was no way this would happen. I am extremely frustrated by my experience with Uhaul and would like to discuss this with someone and see if there is a way to remedy his horrible situation.
