This was my fifth time renting a uhaul and the absolute worst experience. I did the check in online because it said it would decrease my time in store in half. I had a scheduled pick up time for 11am, got to the location at about ten after eleven, didn’t drive away until 1150 because I had to sit in an area that smelled of body odor waiting for the appropriate personnel. Then when they finally got there I had to redo everything I did online. I finally got the truck and it smelled so bad I had to drive with the windows down in the rain, I will NEVER tell someone to use this location again, they should not be allowed to rent out a truck at all.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I have rented from U-Haul at least 10 times in the past few years and nothing like this has ever happened. I don’t blame this on Uhaul at all, but the owner of the gas station. First off, the man had no idea what the uhaul app was, or what truck share was. I showed him my receipt and showed him that the truck was in my name and everything, but he refused to give me the keys. He kept telling me I was trying to steal the truck, that I needed a paper contract. He got other customers involved and called me many names and threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave. The truck was already rented to me, it was payed for, I just needed the keys. He did not understand the app or anything. He shouldn’t have this service if he doesn’t know how it works. I was already stressed out because I had reserved a truck and trailer at another location, and they changed the rental to a 10 foot truck which would have done nothing for me. So I had that pending charge and then the new charge for the truck at this location. I had all this money held up in my back account and still didn’t have a truck. I was messaging a Uhaul representative on the app and he was somewhat helpful, but not like he should have been. I sat on hold with Uhaul for over 40 minutes and never got through to anyone. The whole ordeal with the has station owner listed over 1.5 hours. It was absolutely ridiculous. I don’t know what made him end up giving me the truck, but it was beyond stressful and put me so far behind schedule. He continuously called me names and insulted me, all I wanted was the truck that was already rented to me and already payed for. I am also extremely disappointed with Uhaul, when I dropped the truck off I chose to pay with a different method so that someone would contact me from Uhaul. Nobody ever contacted me, Uhaul just charged my card for it, so I never even got to talk to anyone about my experience. I honestly don’t feel like I should have had to pay the almost $300 for such an absolutely horrible and stressful experience where I was harassed, degraded and insulted. Honestly, I don’t want to have to rent a truck from anywhere but Uhaul, but after this experience I may have to spend the extra money and go with another company. I sincerely hope Uhaul responds, as no other customer should ever have to go through this.

No issues with either pick or drop off locations. I needed a 20' truck, I was told I could get a 15' truck and 8x10 trailer. The day before moving I was told I could only get a 10' truck w/ an 8x10 trailer. I didn't have any other options 1 day prior to moving so I accepted that. I got lucky when the pick up location happened to have a 26' truck for me. My issue is with U-Haul itself. If U-Haul could not provide either the 20' or 15' truck I should have been told that when I made the reservation, not 1 day prior to moving day. I would have either changed moving plans or rented from someone else. Because of this type of business practice I will not be using U-haul again.

When I say I had the worst experience ever I did I was in there for over a hour trying to get the U-Haul they clerk and her husband who she had on FaceTime was very rude and disrespectful I will never ever go back there and when I returned the U-Haul they tried to keep my 100 dollar deposit and give me back on my 13 when in fact I was owed more and me and my friend sat there for over a hr. again explaining what they did wrong because they had no idea what was going on!! Worst experience ever

From the beginning the lady working had no idea what was even happening. English was a second language at this establishment which made it nearly impossible to get the truck. I ended up talking to her boss on FaceTime to figure out what was needed to get me on my way after 30 minutes. The truck had only 450 miles on it and was trashed on the inside and didn’t even have a full tank of gas. Overall it was a bad experience and wouldn’t do business there ever again.

Hard to understand Was visibly irritated that I had returned the truck here, since I didn’t rent it out of there. Reservation had been made for 2 weeks, not sure why she didn’t know, it was being dropped off there.

Lady had no clue what she was doing, took 45 mins to get the truck. Never signed anything before getting the keys. She couldn’t even process my card, had to take cash out of atm and pay extra deposit. If I ever need another U-Haul, I’ll refuse to use this location.

At the location English was a second language. Gal working the counter had to call her boss to log onto the U-Haul site. I was at the location 90 minutes with 4 calls to U-Haul in order to leave with the vehicle. And once I left I was billed $456 more than my original confirmation. Very bad mojo!!

Very poor service. Employees did not know what they were doing. Found out 4 hours after we picked up truck that it was not done the right way. Got a call from uhaul and we had to stop what we were doing to correct their mistake. Train your people so that they know what they are doing!!!!!!

I received 2 emails saying the truck was to be picked up at 2 different locations & I received 2 phones calls saying to pick it up at a different location. Your company had a big error on that. The Richmond Street location was where I planned on getting it they had no info on this but the took care of the situation very well.

vehichle was covered in snow!!! and ice!! im a 60 yr old lady that had to clean off this rental....if i rented a car from a place im sure it would of been ready n safe for me......its called CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! im sure it wasnt even pre tripped for me!!! oil checkd,etc.. poor rental care

when i called they told me they didnt have me in the system at all. I had to call back u haul customer service to hash out the guys mistake. also, when i made my 1st reservation for a 26 foot truck they made a reservation for a location that didnt even have a 26 footer and i had to switch to a 15' last minute and had to make extra trips. So it messed up my move day. In total I had to call customer service 4 times to make 1 reservation. You guys record all convos on the phone, I suggest u listen to them and re train your staff. Besides Mark, he got it right the 1st time!

Very unorganized, the woman at the counter put me on the phone with someone else and I was told to "Just leave my contact information". I had concerns about whether or not this place was even a legitimate U-haul location so I had the clerk make copies of all of my paperwork before giving her any of it.
