Hart CThe truck was very dirty inside the cab and the back as well. There were food packages, old food (chicken bones even!), cans, spills of coffee, food all over the floor mats, dog hair on the seats, used tissues and even some prescription medication left in the truck. Things were sticky and filthy. I had to clean all of the inside to feel ok about getting in a driving it. The pick up took quite a long time, with the person who was helping me stopping often to serve store customers. There were not enough blankets to give me, according to what I had ordered.
Carla SI have been charged for 48 km instead of 25 km. I submit a ticket online, still got no response. It's insane that they have charged me this much extra. This was my first time renting a U-Haul and I'm totally disappointed with my experience.

Nigel EVehicle needed engine oil replacement and air on one of the tyres according to the dashboard warning. And I could not view the mileage (total kilometers) on the vehicle before or after the trip due to the warning messages. Some time gets wasted due to these unwanted warning signs.
Asim KI got the vehicle with less than a quarter tank. That was a bit of a pain in the butt. The vehicles should be kept closer to full or greater than half a tank

clive fUnfortunately I have been over charged for my rental. I was told $40 dollars, however, I have been charged $60.44. In addition to that the vehicle was left dirty with the previous rental's garbage in the front. I will be calling U-Haul for the refund.

Shan VI feel like I got scammed honestly. When I went to do the check out and added in the mileage it "calculated" that I had driven 35 miles or something absurd given that my apartment is 4,5miles away and the only two stops (storage unit on the way there and gas station on the way back) were on the exact fastest route. So round trip I only drove 10-12 miles MAX and so I was way overcharged. My friend who was helping me that day had used a U Haul earlier in the week and agreed it was way off based on what he paid for a longer trip. Unfortunately I wasn't in a position to dispute it because it was late, I was rushed, and for some reason the odometer display wasn't captured well by the picture I took before departing the shop (which no one advised me to take). To make matters worse, when I checked out the U Haul I was told by a manager not to try online checkout but rather to just leave the keys and the shop would handle it. This sounded nice and convenient until I received a text from U Haul before returning the truck saying if I didn't do the online checkout, and left it to the shop, I'd be charged a $20 convenience fee. The shop owner conveniently left that part out… Finally it was concerning that indicating the same fuel level I received the truck at during check out resulted in a warning about fines as if it was actually received higher than that amount. I don't know if I'll get erroneously charged for gas but I wouldn't be surprised given how shady all of this was. I have no idea whether these issues apply to all U Haul rentals or just the location I used but I'll think twice for renting one again that's for sure…

SRDAN OI got charged for $15 of gas after driving 20km even though the fuel gauge said it was full. U Haul made it seem like fuel would be charged based on the meter reading.
Maxwell CI could not recommend this location or this business person more. He went out of his way to accommodate a last minute urgent matter on my end and made everything about the transaction an extremely positive experience. Thank you!!!

Michael BThe service was excellent - quick and without no wait time. The service provider was more than pleasant and made sure everything was ready on short notice. The vehicle operated well and was easy to use, except for the left hand signal problem and the engine light showing up on the dash. We reported the signal problem immediately, and were told it was an intermittent problem (the most pesky type of vehicle woes). Overall, my experience was very good except that I was a little disappointed that the cost was about $ 60 more than I was expecting.
Christianne HFriendly representative. UBC convenience. We were told the tank was full and to fill it up upon return. We drove from UBC to Richmond (35k total mileage) but our gas bill was $100. Seems very odd. We should have checked the tank reader in the future. This is the one disappointment. / Representative was helpful with everything else.

Adwitiya GInside of truck storage smelled like a recycling depot, wasn't told the right side mirror was smashed before getting the truck, parking location was difficult to get to, wasn't given a contract showing milage or fuel level, vehicle had the fuel warning on when I received it.
