We ordered a dolly. We confirmed a dolly. There was no dolly. We had a four-hour reservation. They would not let us take the vehicle out until we agreed to return it in two hours, because "someone else" needed it. Since the reservation system won't allow double-booking, I can only assume this was an off the books rental. Our invoice was wrong. Neither the mileage start nor mileage finish numbers are correct. We have timestamped images verifying this. The difference is....not minor. I will never, ever use this location again. I'm not even sure I'm willing to use any Uhual location at this point, because this isn't just bad service, an invoice with fake numbers and not living up to a rental contract is flat out deceit.
The vehicle needs to be sanitized. The dash lights need to be repaired (ABS is not an optional part of driving loaded vehicles). The location needs to keep their vans onsite and prepare them for rental appropriatley. Not recommended at all.

Best rental experience I've had with U-Haul. Dollar n Plus attendant was straight, fair, trustworthy, and very easy to deal with. I'll be renting from him again
Quick take: a hugely disappointing experience which made a stressful situation considerably worse. I have lost all confidence in UHaul and will avoid them from here on out, encouraging others to do the same. Explanation: about a week prior to my moving date I went on the UHaul site, and while most vans and trucks were rented for our moving day, I did manage to find a pickup truck some distance away from me which was available for the hours we needed so I booked it. *The day before we moved* I receive an email from UHaul with different truck rental times (it was changed from 10-6 to 9-3). I immediately called customer service and spend 45 minutes on the phone with a rep who was unhelpful and simply reiterated that â€œsomeone else had booked the truck before meâ€. This is either a major error in UHaul's booking system or a lie, and I suspect the latter. This is because when you go to rent a truck, only available trucks and available times are shown. Meaning, if someone had already booked the truck from 3pm onwards, I would have not been able to book it. I then contacted the UHaul dealer who told me that he could try to contact the other renter about changing his/her times. After not hearing back for over two hours I decided to adjust the plans I had already made with friends for moving help, asking them to come earlier. I also made plans to borrow another vehicle from a friend to finish up moving later if needed. When I picked the truck up the next morning the dealer told me â€œsorry about the times, but it's the end of the month and you take what you get, right?â€ Thanks to some flexibility from my friends, we were able to finish the move in the reduced time, but only just barely. I dropped the truck off on time and went home to find an emailed receipt. To my shock, the $15 optional insurance coverage *which I did not purchase* had been added to my charge. I immediately called the retailer and demanded a refund. He told me I would be refunded, but I have now waited over a week for that refund and have not received it, and will be calling them back today. It is my theory that someone at UHaul changed my times in an effort to book two trips in one day instead of just mine. Again, to reiterate: do not use UHaul if at all possible. Brutal customer service. There are other options much more worthy of your business: Penske, for example.
The vehicle wasn't there at the time I was supposed to pick it up. Someone had to call the driver who said that he was busy and couldn't bring the car, that I had to pick it up in a different location where the car was parked. I had to drove there and my rental started 1h later that it should and it messed up with my planning for the whole day.
Phenomenal experience, no issue with the van only complain would be the right side mirror which not steady and moves frequently
Overcharged for $15 Insurance. I declined this coverage twice - 1) online when reserving and 2) in person when picking up the vehicle. It was STILL applied to my invoice and I am asking to have it removed. NO RESPONSE!
This was , by far, the smoothest, easiest rental I have had with U-Haul. Coupled with excellent service. I look forward to renting from this location again.
The owner was quite cool and easy going. He allowed me to pick up the truck earlier and gave me a ride to where it parked. Simply gave me the key and allowed me to return anytime. Even when I returned the truck he simply said that's all and will send me the email receipt. I didn't know how much I will be charged until I saw the email . I don't think I ordered the safeMove 15cad insurance. But it's fine. Overall good experience.

I reserved a truck, but I got a van instead, which wound up working okay, but I was charged almost $100, which is not what I was quoted. Now in the process of trying to get refunded.
THE VEHICLE'S WINDSHIELD WIPERS FROZE 2 HOURS INTO MY MOVE. I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE LOCATION BEFORE I HAD TO PULL INTO A GAS STATION AND WAIT FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AS A VEHICLE WITHOUT WIPERS CANNOT BE DRIVEN IN STORM CONDITIONS. MY RENTAL DAY WAS EXTENDED DUE TO VEHICLE MALFUNCTION AND THIS LOCATION IS ATTEMPTING TO CHARGE ME FOR A FULL DAY DUE TO THEIR BROKEN VEHICLE.

They dont have a drop box so I couldn't give my keys when I was supposed to. Had to travel an hour early in the morning out of my way to drop off the key while they threatened to charge me 160$ extra if the car was towed. Makes no sense because I dropped it off when I was supposed to but they messed up. Horrible experience.
So convenient! We were able to rent a cargo van at the last minute on a holiday which was a lifesaver.
I booked a 15 foot truck on Dunbar and you changed it without letting me know to a CARGO VAN with pick-up at UBC! This made the move of a 1 bedroom apartment an absolute nightmare! You're lucky the guy at the register was nice, otherwise I'd be dragging your ass like there's no tomorrow. What a joke! Never again!!
The rental van was unmarked, parked far away from the location such that we had to drive with the attendant to it, and the gas tank was empty when we received it.

It felt strange and unprofessional to pick up a u-haul at the back of the dollar store. There should be a printed receipt upon rental, as well as clear dimensions/information about the car. I did not enjoy this experience at all.
