I used the online check in process and it did not include a step to check for the equipment that you added to your purchase so I didn't realize that the dolly and furniture pads I paid for and requested were not in the truck. Therefore, I did not receive them at all.

The Econo Lodge personnel were very accommodating and helpful as our pick-up was after 3 p.m. He processed our reservation with respect and cheerfulness. I had trouble with the equipment hitch; the ball cam was reversed and the bolt threads were dirty thus making turning the wedge operation difficult. Trailer was dirty.

The cab should be looked at better to see if it's dirty. The cup holders were nasty. They should also check around the truck better since I did see a dent in the bumper at the time of pickup.

Make the 24/7 truck share more user friendly. It did not work for us because the location services (although allowed on phone) did not function properly.

The male owner of this hotel is a complete ass. On a number of occasions he has been 100% rude. Not only to customers but to his staff. Said he has nothing to do with uhaul so don't ask him any questions. IF Uhaul cares about their customers they will either get rid of this guy or put him in his place.

The woman at the rental counter/motel check in desk, Cathy, was rude and condescending. I picked up my rental and after loading it from 2 seperate locations, headed out on the interstate for my 6+ hour drive to my destination. Immediately upon driving at interstate speeds (60-65 mph) both my passenger and myself noticed extreme heat pouring out from around the boot (under the center console and cup holders). This heat was so intense that my mother-in-law actual ended up with blisters on the foot nearest to the boot. I immediately pulled over and helped get my mither-in-law's legs and feet into a position that kept as much heat as possible off of them. I was able to make it to the next exit (where the pickup location was) at 45 mph. I returned to the counter where I rented the U-haul and explained the situation to Cathy. She informed me that she could cancel my reservation but I would still be charged for the day and that there wasn't anything else she could do. I promptly called the national call center and was told this was not the case and that they would handle getting me another rental. Unfortunately, the only other rental that was available was yet another aging U-haul that was bigger than I needed (which equals more fuel cost that I did not have to spend) as well causing a two hour delay to being able to get on the road as I had to move everything out of the first U-haul into the second without any help. Upon returning the U-haul to the planned drop-off location, I was informed that my return location had been changed (with no notice to me) to a town that was another 15 miles (and 25 minutes) away. The lady at the drop-off location managed to change my drop off a second time to a location closer to her but was still a major inconvenience.

Made a one way reservation to Orlando, FL for a 4x8 trailer 3 wks prior to pickup. 2 days before I was notified the 4x8 trailer was not available but has a 5x8 trailer for the same price. The day before pickup i checked the reservation and it showed one way to Columbus, GA. I called customer service (on hold for 30 mins) and explained the reservation and changes. They told me it showed Orlando but mine showed Columbus. When I made the pickup I was in the system for 2 rentals, a 4x8 and 5x8 trailer to different locations. I explained to them what I reserved and what Uhaul did and said. The pickup location had to cl Uhaul to correct the reservation and the CSR had a hard time changing the drop off location. This all took about 15 mins and I ready checked in online twice. I told Uhaul customer service I was concerned this was going to happen but I was told everything was good. Well, it was not. I also had to locate the trailer, hook it up and verify lights were working. Luckily I knew what I was doing but what about other customers who do not or are physically unable to hook up?

The only thing was that the statement for gas was off by a quarter of a tank and they didn't charge that. I did sign off on the milage because I was in a hurry and then I got a 20.00 change for gas at the end. My fault for not getting them to change gas at pickup.

I spoke with the lady over the phone but when i dropped it off i tried to call and let someone know but noone answered the phone. Gave my keys to the guy at the front desk of the hotel and he didnt speak a word to me. A little off putting

First, this was not the location I reserved the truck from. I had to go way out of my way to secure the vehicle. Then I found out the size I had reserved wasn't even available. Thankfully a customer returned the size I wanted so after an hour wait I was able to get home to start loading.

No one was there to check the vehicle in i.e. to check for damage, to insure it was clean, etc. Had great difficulty using the app. that I had to use to check it in. I myself and my sister-in -law tried to use it with no success. I called the Ogeechee Rd. store and offered to take the truck back to Savannah and was told that I couldn't. I was told if I didn't check it in with the app. I would be charged $20.00 when someone came in Monday morning and done it. I turned the truck in Saturday July 4th and the location for the drop off was sent to me via text message from U-Haul. I find it reprehensible that even though it was the 4th of July no one was at the drop off site to take the vehicle and to assume everyone is technically savy to know how to navigate these apps we are forced to use. My wife finally turned the key into the hotel clerk with no other option. I have used U-Haul in times past with no absolutely no difficulty. This is the worst experience I have had and depending on my credit card bill will determine weather I do business with or recommend U -Haul to anyone else.

Only thing I would change is the ordering process online. When I was checking out there was a 4 by 8 trailer added to my cart. I never added a trailer to my order. Set up the website where it doesn't pop up all the options as your checking out. If I wanted insurance, dolly, and drop cloths I just such the menu.

The lady working Saturday morning at the Econo Lodge was extremely rude. I will not be using that location again as long as she's still there. Other than that, the other experiences were very good.

Lady at hotel claimed she knew nothing about U-Haul, had to make 4 trips to location to return vehicle, and was told they had to call a rep in to handle. Never saw a U-Haul rep! When I called about the cash deposit, was informed that the equipment was not returned. filed a claim and still have not received any more information from them (but they rented out the equipment days later to a neighbor in same complex). DO NOT CHOOSE THIS LOCATION FOR RENTAL OR RETURN...very unprofessional!

I told the attendant that my drop off location was supposed to be Pittsboro, NC,... not Chapel Hill, NC. Not only did that cause me to go an additional 30 miles further North out of my way (60 round trip), but it also caused me to be charged for an additional day of usage on the rental because we ran into vehicle trouble and didn't make the 7:00 AM cut off for turn in at the farther away location. Also, the APP wouldn't allow us to change our drop-off location back to Pittsboro, so we had to take it the farther distance. Not happy about this.

Horrible service, difficult to find - uhaul office located inside a hotel but there is no markings indicating this anywhere around the hotel, unorganized, reservation not ready-was told I didn't have a reservation and had to show my reservation information to avoid being sent to back of line- paid for a hand dolly and was told it was in the back of truck, when I arrived at my home there was no dolly - made moving more difficult than it should have been, plus I paid for something I did not receive, no refund was offered when I mentioned this at my return.

Waiting on other people after me took over an hour of my time.i was not able to finish the use of the trailer because the dump closed before I got done. I am very unhappy with this I u-haul location.

Wasn't even greeted either time (pick up & return) so I finally informed the gentleman I was there to return truck and dolly, and he informed me that he'd been outside ... So I handed him the keys and left.

The online experience was terrible. It was okay to complete the reservation and pick up truck; however, the return was aggravating and frustrating taking more than 30 minutes. The program kept returning to the start several times. I was at the point of just giving up and hoping to contact a live person the next-day.

The woman at the front desk was visibly irritated & uneducated to have to deal with a U-Haul rental. She would not answer my questions on how to sign in online. She repeatedly said "I don't know" to any questions that I asked her about the service. She told me to keep the rental for 24 hours but, never told me that "after 3 pm U-Haul is closed". So, when I returned my truck at 4 pm, she grabbed the paperwork away from me and said "someone will deal with this tomorrow; call 1-800-Uhaul and ask them your questions." AND then she went on to help another customer while I was still standing at the desk with my questions unanswered! AND she over charged me; she put in my order for 50 miles of usage when I told her that I was only moving 5 minutes away. I ended up going 17 miles and now I have to wait 5 DAYS to get my money back. This was the worst customer service experience that I have ever had using a U-Haul location!

The clerk that helped me was amazing. He should be commended on his professionalism and his great attitude. I would highly recommend this location for a rental. I actually visited 2 other locations before coming to this location. I couldn't get help at the other locations.

Make sure all employees are aware of reservations, policies and procedures. I kept getting a comment of I work 2nd shift and don't know. Person at pick up site barely tried to assist, and even said I didn't have a reservation with them. No utility dolly and no furniture pads supplied in truck as ordered. I had to call customer service myself, instead of the attendant at least saying "let me call them to make sure", since I showed her all confirmations and statements from my mobile check in with the picture of the econo lodge to pick up keys. I even spoke last and she said nothing upon my departure. I would have given her a pass if she was extremely busy when I got there, but she was sitting down reading a book when I arrived and was extremely slow. Worse uhaul experience every. This site however has been good during 2 previous uhaul pick ups, so I don't know what the new attendant's issue was.

The check in process, as a result of the U-haul system, is aggravating! 1. I entered all of the requested info into the U-haul website when I made the reservation. 2. When I arrived at the pickup location, none of the info was in the system for the person completing the rental. So, we had to go through that process again. 3. Your system asks for another contact person so, I supplied my wife's information. Your system would not allow her information. FYI, I will NOT EVER give you someone else's info other than my wife's because that's a privacy violation to the other person. 4. After we got through all of this process and she skipped the other contact, the lady was unable to print the contract because it said it was not completed. 5. I went on the website and did the express check-in and paid for the rental. The lady still could not complete the transaction. 6. I wasted 40 minutes on this process and then called U-haul. The representative gave me a $20 credit to my contact, which was a good effort but given the number of times I rent from U-haul, I would prefer to simply be able to complete the rental online and show up to get the keys or the trailer!

The area has plenty of space from people to drop off their U-Haul and use the self-return option through the U-Haul app. Great and easy location for doing returns.

The agents need to stop trying to pad the bill. This is the second time additional charges were assessed. This time, they tried to tell me I did not fill the gas to the check out amount. When I informed them I had taken pictures of the gauges before and after my rental, they backed down, however they did charge an additional two tenths of a mile mileage. I have become very suspicious of UHaul rentals because of this.

The sales associate wasn't knowledgeable about why I was being charged for Safe Tow when I declined it because I have my own insurance. She wasn't able to remove it as well and didn't attempt to seek help on how to remove the charge. When I returned the truck a call was placed and I was told the charge would be removed but it wasn't.
