they are not very helpful I was incorrectly changed.Then 2 days later charged again plus more. You be better off going somewhere else. Try Penske I hear you get get better Service
Nothing to improve! I have rented a truck from here before and both times I received excellent service. And the trucks have always been clean and operated without a problem.
Could not tell where to drop it off, went to convenience store and asked they said go to the hotel ðŸ˜³
I used the online check in process and it did not include a step to check for the equipment that you added to your purchase so I didn't realize that the dolly and furniture pads I paid for and requested were not in the truck. Therefore, I did not receive them at all.
The Econo Lodge personnel were very accommodating and helpful as our pick-up was after 3 p.m. He processed our reservation with respect and cheerfulness. I had trouble with the equipment hitch; the ball cam was reversed and the bolt threads were dirty thus making turning the wedge operation difficult. Trailer was dirty.
Do regular maintenance on your equipment and train your rental location employees to be familiar with the equipment.
The cab should be looked at better to see if it's dirty. The cup holders were nasty. They should also check around the truck better since I did see a dent in the bumper at the time of pickup.
Dropped off at a EconoLodge front desk. The customer service was excellent. Very friendly.
Make the 24/7 truck share more user friendly. It did not work for us because the location services (although allowed on phone) did not function properly.
The male owner of this hotel is a complete ass. On a number of occasions he has been 100% rude. Not only to customers but to his staff. Said he has nothing to do with uhaul so don't ask him any questions. IF Uhaul cares about their customers they will either get rid of this guy or put him in his place.
The woman at the rental counter/motel check in desk, Cathy, was rude and condescending. I picked up my rental and after loading it from 2 seperate locations, headed out on the interstate for my 6+ hour drive to my destination. Immediately upon driving at interstate speeds (60-65 mph) both my passenger and myself noticed extreme heat pouring out from around the boot (under the center console and cup holders). This heat was so intense that my mother-in-law actual ended up with blisters on the foot nearest to the boot. I immediately pulled over and helped get my mither-in-law's legs and feet into a position that kept as much heat as possible off of them. I was able to make it to the next exit (where the pickup location was) at 45 mph. I returned to the counter where I rented the U-haul and explained the situation to Cathy. She informed me that she could cancel my reservation but I would still be charged for the day and that there wasn't anything else she could do. I promptly called the national call center and was told this was not the case and that they would handle getting me another rental. Unfortunately, the only other rental that was available was yet another aging U-haul that was bigger than I needed (which equals more fuel cost that I did not have to spend) as well causing a two hour delay to being able to get on the road as I had to move everything out of the first U-haul into the second without any help. Upon returning the U-haul to the planned drop-off location, I was informed that my return location had been changed (with no notice to me) to a town that was another 15 miles (and 25 minutes) away. The lady at the drop-off location managed to change my drop off a second time to a location closer to her but was still a major inconvenience.
Made a one way reservation to Orlando, FL for a 4x8 trailer 3 wks prior to pickup. 2 days before I was notified the 4x8 trailer was not available but has a 5x8 trailer for the same price. The day before pickup i checked the reservation and it showed one way to Columbus, GA. I called customer service (on hold for 30 mins) and explained the reservation and changes. They told me it showed Orlando but mine showed Columbus. When I made the pickup I was in the system for 2 rentals, a 4x8 and 5x8 trailer to different locations. I explained to them what I reserved and what Uhaul did and said. The pickup location had to cl Uhaul to correct the reservation and the CSR had a hard time changing the drop off location. This all took about 15 mins and I ready checked in online twice. I told Uhaul customer service I was concerned this was going to happen but I was told everything was good. Well, it was not. I also had to locate the trailer, hook it up and verify lights were working. Luckily I knew what I was doing but what about other customers who do not or are physically unable to hook up?
The only thing was that the statement for gas was off by a quarter of a tank and they didn't charge that. I did sign off on the milage because I was in a hurry and then I got a 20.00 change for gas at the end. My fault for not getting them to change gas at pickup.
There was leaves in it and the light wire have a temporary repair that didn't hold until we got to our destination. We ended up with no tail lights
I spoke with the lady over the phone but when i dropped it off i tried to call and let someone know but noone answered the phone. Gave my keys to the guy at the front desk of the hotel and he didnt speak a word to me. A little off putting
First, this was not the location I reserved the truck from. I had to go way out of my way to secure the vehicle. Then I found out the size I had reserved wasn't even available. Thankfully a customer returned the size I wanted so after an hour wait I was able to get home to start loading.
No one was there to check the vehicle in i.e. to check for damage, to insure it was clean, etc. Had great difficulty using the app. that I had to use to check it in. I myself and my sister-in -law tried to use it with no success. I called the Ogeechee Rd. store and offered to take the truck back to Savannah and was told that I couldn't. I was told if I didn't check it in with the app. I would be charged $20.00 when someone came in Monday morning and done it. I turned the truck in Saturday July 4th and the location for the drop off was sent to me via text message from U-Haul. I find it reprehensible that even though it was the 4th of July no one was at the drop off site to take the vehicle and to assume everyone is technically savy to know how to navigate these apps we are forced to use. My wife finally turned the key into the hotel clerk with no other option. I have used U-Haul in times past with no absolutely no difficulty. This is the worst experience I have had and depending on my credit card bill will determine weather I do business with or recommend U -Haul to anyone else.

Only thing I would change is the ordering process online. When I was checking out there was a 4 by 8 trailer added to my cart. I never added a trailer to my order. Set up the website where it doesn't pop up all the options as your checking out. If I wanted insurance, dolly, and drop cloths I just such the menu.
Cab could have used a good vacuuming.
