Jason FI returned the uhaul on Saturday. I then got an email from u stating I was late on returning the truck. My husband went today to ask why we got this email when we returned it a day early. The said they were busy and forgot!!

Frederick WThey don't have the room for Uhaul equipment so you have to leave equipment in parking spots for there motel customers. I wasn't happy that I had to go there even though I wanted to go to a much better location being the packing store on Keller drive in Effingham, il

Tim EGetting in and out is a little tricky but everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
Pam HI opted for on line check in. My truck was to be ready at 6:00 am. Did all required paperwork prior. On the morning of 30 minutes prior I was told I could not get it til 8 am. U haul said it was the fault of the pickup location. I was to reimbursed $50. (Not enough for my trouble). I have not seen the credit.

john pAt the office they told me to return the truck with the same level of gasoline, I did, but they charged me $ 20 for gasoline, it is not pleasant when you comply with what they ask and they surprise you with an extra charge.

GARY FGive a return receipt. Learn to speak English. "Back property" is not a clear direction of where to park a big truck. Clean up the office & put the moving supplies on a shelf instead of the floor in a heap. Staff should look professional instead of dirty. We'll never go to this location again.
BRANDON BRegional Office gave me the run around. I called Saturday night and reserved this trailer at my location only for the regional to call me Monday morning to tell me I would have to travel 48 miles out of the way to get the trailer. I would suggest that the 1-800 reservation center to know where this equipment is at. I called to cancel the reservation called the other location and they were $200 cheaper for a one way pull and drop. So consistency on prices. This has nothing to do with the pickup or drop off location. There is miscommunication between the 1-800 reservation center and the regional office in Springfield.
LARRY SI don't live very far from The Home Center which had the size truck I needed, but had to go into Effingham to get truck. Called to see if I could get this changed, but received no help. The person at The Home Center talked to his manager, but he was no help either. I will probably never use U-HAUL again.
BRIAN GShowed up to a trailer with 2 flat tires and was told by the lady running the Uhaul business to go ahead and take it. We told her thats dangerous, no. She insisted we take it and that if anything happened call for help. We called Uhaul immediately, they sent out a tech. It took 1 hour for him to get there. 1 hour to put 2 tires on. Worst experience of our time with uhaul. I am surprised shes in business.

Thomas SSomething was wrong with the wiring on the trailer. It shorted out everything in our truck and our truck died. Took trailer back within an hour. Hopefully we get refund.

MARVIN FWe decided after picking up the rental that it would be easier for us to drop off at another location. I called the 1-800 number to see about changing and was told I could not change it. This is an option, for an additional fee of course, that shouldn't be so hard to do, or just not at all.
John AThe employee didn't speak English. She called someone and they went through things on the phone. The woman that didn't speak English gave me the key and never showed me the truck, it didn't have a lock on it for the cargo door. Just not my traditional experience.
