Representatives who received my U-Haul and tow, forced me to detach tow from U-Haul Even though I was told that once I get there representatives will take care of the check-in process and help me. Additionally, the representatives who checked me and stated that they would do so and I would receive an email. The next day I didn't receive an email and I had to go back to the store. Overall, I would never rent a U-Haul from this location as they do not seem to understand what they are doing.

Received a text AFTER I left the location to verify equipment. BUT to verify the equipment I had to be at the pick up location to do so. So I was unable to verify the license plate and equipment condition. The representative at this location did not tell me to expect this text. They should let you know so you don't leave without verifying.

The attendant was extremely pleasant and efficient. The entire transaction took less than 5 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out. The return was even faster. Everything was positive, and the trailer I rented was in like new condition.

Truck needed front end alignment badly. Inside cab was very dirty, windows were dirty and had 1/8 tank of gas. Guy at the counter knew nothing about Uhaul had to call someone else to get truck. Guy had zero personality and apparently was never taught how to greet a customer or how to say thank you afterwards.

The Wl Cheapo location was great but the overall Uhaul experience was terrible. The original location that I reserved a truck was permanently closed. It took almost 3 hours and 4 different representatives on Uhaul customer service to get a new reservation.

I made a 10 foot truck reservation with nothing extra added. This location intentionally added safemove without confirming with me first and argued that I added it on my reservation.this location clearly doesn't know how to operate uhauls. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

the truck wasn't clean. dirt in the back. also damage on the outside that needed repaired. I had to wheel the furniture pads from the building out to the truck which was parked quite a distance from the building. they need to improve their service.

The gentleman was very nice. He made sure I was still taken care of even after the drop off location was changed without my knowledge. The representative I had to call when I got there was very rude and unprofessional though.

The tow dolley had too much wiring for the lights, ended up rubbing where the station had it on the tongue and breaking one the wires. had to do some reconnecting at the gas station we stopped at during the move.

This was not where we reserved our truck and this change in location caused a big issue. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in UHaul and I would like a call from a manager. 407-492-2453

The truck was parked out back between a truck and a building. Had to make multiple turns to turn it around. The truck wasn't nasty inside but did have some dirt on the floor and drink stains on the cup holders and dash. The truck needs maintenance. The tires vibrated bad at highway speeds and had a horrible brake pulsation when stopping.

The engine light and oil light came on during the move the truck was clean and full of gas needed maintenance don't think it had been serviced in a while

There is no dropbox at the location for after hours returns even though uhaul site say it accomodate afterhour returns. It was extremely hard to get customer service on the line to assist me with the appropriate place to leave the key. Once I did get someone on the line, he sent an email explaining I could not find the Dropbox. I repeatedly explained there wasn't a Dropbox for me to "find". The return process was bad experience.

Stop providing damaged and faulty equipment to customers who spend their hard earned money to rent from you. AND OFFER THE INSURANCE TO EVERY CUSTOMER SO THEY ARE NOT RIPPED OFF WHEN YOUR TRUCKS HAVE WATER LEAKS!!!

If I could give 0 stars for this location I certainly would. The gentleman(and that's being generous) originally told me he wouldn't take my return. He stated that he "gave" Uhaul 4 spots and he didn't have room for my return. I assume he called someone actually associated with Uhaul at the corporate /regional level, because he ended up begrudgingly taking my return. There is another gas station up the road from this location whom I have dealt with previously, and they were amazing. I am not sure why this fantastic location was not a choice for my drop off, as they are a very pleasant 3rd party rental/drop off location. To say that El Cheapo gas SUCKS as a Uhaul rental/drop off location is an absolute understatement. I would NEVER deal with them again, and frankly, they are an embarrassment to Uhaul. They truly acted as if THEY were doing Uhaul a favor by allowing the use of their facility. Again, the location less than 2 miles away on Doyle Road in Deltona is superior in every way. I never write reviews, but the shoddy treatment/customer service that I received from El Cheapo made me rethink that policy. I would strongly suggest rethinking a corporate association with this establishment, but that is merely the opinion of someone who will NEVER use them for my Uhaul rentals or, truthfully, anything ever again.

Location of pickup was so dirty. There was only one person working both inside store and uhaul trucks. Experts checking did not save me time. It took an hour for the clerk to find truck, trailer, etc. The truck had pet hair and any questions asked the clerk was unable to answer.

There was only one worker present when I dropped the truck off. He. advised me to take pictures of the gas gauge, mileage and the interior and exterior , due to him not being able to inspect it, right then, so I would have proof of how it looked at time of return.

I've never dropped off a truck and be told I'll do paper work later. Than when I dropped off the 6x12 trailer I was told to move it 3x than I have to unhook it all and I'm disabled. If there going to be a uhaul place they should have help there to take care of your customer. Oh plus left again and told she do the check in later.

As for u haul, I will always use them. However, this location was awful.. Upon arrival the clerk told me her system was down. ok, no big deal drive a couple miles to another location(Marathon up the road) to try to move my reservation. They tried everything however nothing was available due to other reserves. So after a thorough search, an hour drive to the closest trailer. Forget that, the clerk suggested going back to original location and ask them to call and do over the phone. I go back . the clerk explains that really she is new and has not been trained and the owner has the software on his phone, not on location. She tried to call him to no avail. Nice lady on the phone at uhaul handled it all and I got my trailer. This took approx 1,5 hours to get all settled. El Cheapo deserves to lose their uhaul affiliation as they are nowhere near the service i have grown accustomed to with u haul as a company.

This drop off and pick up location was recommended by Uhaul. When I got there I had to wait til the store emptied out so he could go out and check the trailer in. As we are walking over to the trailer he says that they don't accept these at this location. Once again this location was recommended by uhaul for a drop off and pick up of something larger. Guy ended up talking to his manager about it and they did accept it. Next vehicle needed some repair. 1 Turn signal out and opposite side brake light out. Return at final destination was super quick.

the person there did,nt know how to rent the vech with out call husband or second party on phone took over 30 min. to get the vech . and to return it she said i was upset with her when all i did was ask for a recipet and she said that she could.nt give me one i had to wait till her other person cam in to give me one so sorry to say if you do not know what u are doing you schould not be renting out such a good company like u-haul cause i have rented other locations and no problem but i will say even from all this i still i will stay with u- haul you are good ppl and one place is not going to make it bad for the rest , [however] this place has a problem]

Called day before to confirm, they had no record of my order. Said computer is broken, as they have said for over a week. Called customer service and they had all info. Spoke with area manager who found the truck. Picked up truck, cab was dirty and it had no windshield washer fluid. Went back into gas station where I was given a bottle of wi shield washer fluid and told to fill it myself.

Clerk was by himself taking care of multiple tasks and customers. Basically had to do most of the process myself. Truck was parked in the grass and covered with grass clippings.

Proprietor did not inspect truck with us, and directed us to the wrong truck. Inside back had trash in the cargo area, and rope left tied to railings. Cab of truck floor very sandy and litter also on floor, including a latex glove. But otherwise competent service. This was actually the third location we visited before we were able to pick up a vehicle for our needs, despite having reserved a truck three days before. We needed a truck at 9 a.m. and did not manage to get one until 1:30 due to lack of communication, poor performance of mobile app, inability to get a person on the phone willing and able to insure we were taken care of. It took 4 phone calls, many minutes on hold and the final person we spoke to was so condescending even after hearing of our difficulties that I was ready to cancel the whole deal. Worst experience with Uhaul we have ever had. The size truck we ended up with was much bigger than original order, and more expensive. No one seemed concerned with our difficulties or inconvenience. Very disappointed.

Improve the time. It took me less time to use the equipment than the time it took to do the rental paper work, I only need it for less than one hour and it took 45 minutes to get out of the gas station!
