I tried to stay away from this place after reading reviews but at the last minute UHAUL notified me that I HAD to go there because they screwed up and the truck wasn't at the original pickup location. Ok so fine. I pick up the truck and give my credit card. All good. Until today when I get a threating text from UHAUL that if I don't pay my bill they will send me to collections. The company charged my credit card and for some reason later credited me the money back but never told me. So I had to pay again online.... I will not ever use UHAUL again... They can't seem to verify locations of trucks or know how to properly charge a customer. The location was fine and the truck was clean. Maybe this is a issue with UHAUL itself but not sure where else to leave a review.William S.
I was charged for a 2 day rental when I had the truck for one day and returned it to the location with the key drop off at 5:30, 30 minutes after they closed. Not happy with that because the truck didn't work out and had to return everything the same day.Martha C.

Your tow dolly broke my 4runner and it doesn't qualify to be covered because it didn't catch fire or roll over. My entire transmission is destroyed due to ill-explanation on how to use a â€œuser friendlyâ€ device. The uhaul was filled with cigarette ash and full cigarettes rolling around the dash board. There was garbage stuffed between the seats and the gas tank was halfway full. When I arrived to pick it up, there was two men screaming over the condition of my u-haul and several times the previous customer opened the door and kept me from leaving the lot. The tie down ropes were shredded and not long enough to cover my tires so I had to purchase my own ratchet straps to secure my vehicle. I will never be using U-Haul again and will be advising friends and family to steer clear as well.Pattrick G.

Shawn with Uhaul was totally unprofessional. The gas gauge on the truck was not functioning correctly and after I filled the tank completely it only showed a little over half. I told Shawn this when I dropped the unit off. He told me there wouldn't be an issue. He called ten minutes later and left me a voicemail stating we need to talk about the gas. He then proceeded to charge my card without talking to me. I went to the location to resolve the issue and shawn began yelling. Then followed me out the door and tried to fight me. completely unacceptable.jeremy W.

I waited in line at the service counter approximately 15 minutes to be told to wait at another counter where it took another 5-10 minutes for someone to walk over. I needed to buy a ball for the hitch and had to go stand in the first line again. All total about 30 minutes of waiting in line.David W.

Location wasn't the problem. U-Haul ruined my move by not delivering on my reservation I made over a month in advance. You gave me 2 smaller trucks which wasn't enough. I had to rent a cargo van from you which was all you had and then I get gouged price wise for the whole thing. I made a reservation 6 weeks in advance so there is no excuse for you to not have the truck ready. Luckily my friend had a horse trailer that saved us from multiple trips. Awful experienceTyler B.

The inside of the cab had a dirty floorboard and the cargo area was muddy and had four blankets wadded up in it and there was some small rope strung around the inside.Terry M.
Tires were in really bad shape. I had to take the time to call Uhaul roadside assistance to come and change the tires on the trailer. When I originally booked my reservation, I had asked them to make sure the tires were in good shape. We had a blow out on another trailer we had rented. It is the responsibility of Uhaul to make sure the tires are in a safe working condition. We also paid 70 $for insurance for a unit we didn't get to look at before hand. The trailer was extremely dated and dirty. This trailer was also leaking water which had to be fixed. This trailer really should be taken off the roads.ROBERT H.

Entire experience was enough that I will not rent from uhaul again. I made an online reservation about a week in advance for a pickup and trailer for use on a Saturday. ReservationÂ statedÂ that the location would contact me by 6pm on Thursday for confirmation. I did not hear anything so Friday I called the location. The lady told me I could not use their pickup to town their trailer. I asked if anyone was ever going to let me know this. She said I needed to call corporate and gave me a numberÂ to call. I called and was told that the reservation was moved to a different location. I asked about towing their trailer with their pickup. I was told as long as it was in town only it can be done.Â I confirmed my use was local. I received a call from the new location that they wantedÂ to give me a heads up that they do not supply the slide in with the 2" ball for the hitch. I was then told that they do have them for purchase if I needed one. I did not need one but found it odd, but convenient, that they could SELL me one. I was told the equipment should be ready tomorrow morning. I arrived to pick up and was told the trailer had not been returned and they could not find a replacement very close. They offered a small box truck as a replacement. I accepted with the stipulation that the mileage charge be the same as the pickup.Â I was told YES it would be. I was also told that they are closed on Sundays and that if I needed to use the truck longer there WOULD NOT BE an extra day charge as long as it was returned on Sunday for them to check in Monday morning. I used the truck which was harder to put extra heavy items into because it sits higher than the trailer. This is why I originally wanted a trailer. I returned the box truck on Sunday. On Monday I was charged 1,09 $ instead of 0,69 a mile and 2 days instead of 1 day.Â I called the location and was told credits are from corporate not the location. I reminded them they made the deal so I should deal with them. I was again told I needed to call corporate.Â I called the number given to me and spoke to a friendly lady who assured me that they would take care of everything. I was told I would be given the day credit as well as the mileage difference because there were notes in the system of the mix up. She said I should get the credit in 3 to 5 days. 10 days later there was no credit. I again called corporate and a guy told me there were no notes in the system about any credit. I explained what had happened and he said a supervisor was the only person that could issue a credit. A supervisor was not available but he said he would have one call me. A couple of hours later I did get a call fromÂ Damian Madsen, Field Relief Manager. I explained what had happened and I was told there would NOT be a credit for the day use because the truck was not returned until 2pm on Sunday instead of 8am so I had to pay for it.Â I was also told that the location does not have the authority to allow the use after 24 hours without being charged. I told him that was not what I was told. He arrogantly said it is corporate policy, and one minute past 24 hours you will be charged for another day. He asked if there would be anything else and I said as long as I get the mileage credit I would never rent from them again. He arrogantly said that would be fine. I was given the 32 $credit for the mileage.Â I completely understand that the trailer not being returned was beyond their control. I appreciate that they offered something to use but they needed to stand behind the offer they made me.Dave H.

Guy at the counter seemed annoyed to have to do the transaction. But I am most unsatisfied with the fact that there was a speed governor on the truck set at 75mph. The guy at the counter did not mention this, nor was there any labelling in the truck to say that there was a speed limiter. I traveled on I80 through Wyoming, Utah and Nevada where there are over 500 miles of road where the speed limit is 80mph. So I was surprised when I first got on I80 and couldn't pass a truck very quickly going just below 75mph.WARREN M.

Unfortunately you don't have a box for rating customer service at the main office in Denver. That's where I would've rated absolutely everything poorly! The promises that were made to me by supervisor Stacey and employee Brandon where repeatedly not met. The worst experience I have ever had. Many conversations that you are more than welcome to listen to since they're recording. Including the conversation Friday evening, September 25th, Starting around 730 with that car being disconnected by Matt. and then another conversation starting somewhere around 745 with Brandon that resulted with him hanging up on us, my son and myself, claiming that my son was threatening him with him saying to Brandon â€œWhat are you going to doing about this?â€ With my son anthony implying you as being U-Haul. It was so evident that Brandon was just looking for an excuse to claim eligibility to hang up on us. Mind you this is when we are at a location 40 minutes away, after being promised that the key would be in the lock box. Which of course it was not. Then Brandon went as far as moving the reservation to the Denver location. When all he could've done was call the person in charge of that lot, Raj, and see about working things out with him. Which is what I went to do inside the Mini store only to find out through Raj that the reservation had moved. If you are really serious about wanting to make peoples experiences the best possible, he will take the initiative and set up a time with me to go over this unbelievably exhausting, time consuming and stressful event. U-haul themselves need to be consistent. I originally reserved a truck that was two miles away from where I was at. And the reservation WAS confirmed for the truck. The DAY OF to pick up the truck, I was barely made aware that the pickup location of the truck changed to a different store 10 miles away. I was only given 120 miles as part of my reservation and had a 100 mile + trip planned, which being switched to that other pickup location left the remaining mileage a tight squeeze to work with.Veronica V.
