Surprise fee for not using app when returning truck which was charged minutes after I arrived
KELVIN BMy overall experience was good. The person at the gas station booked the reservation for Tom's river but I wanted tor for Lanoka harbor . I called the 800 # and the lady was able to switch the reservation to Lanoka harbor . In the end it all worked out

James OThe service and location was great. It was 100 degrees out the day we used the truck and the A/C compressor blew out shortly after we took the truck. We had to do the whole drive with no A/C.

Glen MThe truck was dirty outside. Looked like it was not washed for a month. The person who gave me the keys to the vehicle was rude and obnoxious. You can feel how much he hates his job. He was kurt and didn't want to be there. Every question was answered with a few words that meant nothing. Certainly not a people person. Kind of sad actually.

Guillermo Njust received my receipt and not happy. when I left the u-Haul the vendor said there is 3/4 of a tank of gas, it was just under that. I put in $10 which brought it back to the same level, just under 3/4. Now I am invoiced an extra $8,5 for 2 gallons of gas. Impossible since I only drove 25 miles. I also attempted to do the truck return on my phone. The system did not allow me access to do this. After trying 3x I called customer service and they took the milage info. Now I am charged a $20 fee for after hours service when your system did not allow me to complete. I feel totally ripped off for $28.50. I have rented many U-Hauls in my life and this will certainly be the last besides me passing this on to others unless you correct this situation.
michael sIt's not the location that's the problem, it's U-Haul. I had to wait over a half hour to return the vehicle because the application couldn't detect my location, only to be told by your support person to "just drop off the key" Now I'm looking at a $40 surcharge on the rental which I'm disputing through my bank
