It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. From when I tried to call to reserve and the woman was rude so I hung up and called U-Haul instead of the store, but I ended up having to pick up my truck from the same rude woman location. I stood there for an hour while they could not process my payment (unbeknownst to them the system was down) and they walked away to wait on customers and left me standing there to problem solve myself. I had to call and get my payment processed. Horrible!!

The person who was assisting me had to step away several times to help other people coming into the gas station where this U-Haul rental was located. They were the only ones working and were pulled away countless time picking up and dropping off. The vehicle was parked in an area that was blocked by the building and other things and other vehicles had to be moved. Also they did not walk out with us to check the vehicle location for pick up.Much better experience at a location that was just a U-Haul rental. I would actually tell people not to go to Express Petro.

All of the above questions don't really have an answer that I would like to use aside from the location rating. The equipment was over all clean aside from the inside which had some mud and leaves, which is unavoidable at this time of year, the vehicle was well maintained though. As far as the location I would recommend it. At least if you will be dropping off the vehicle during business hours. I rented a van at the later part of the evening and was instructed to place the keys into the drop box. When returning the vehicle I attempted to put the keys into the drop box but the slot provided was way too small, even after trying at various angels. I ended up calling customer service and explained it to them but the service rep some how too my explanation as 'not being able to find the box" After explaining it one or two more times she seemed to have understood and instructed me to place the keys in the van, under the passenger seat and lock all the doors aside from the drivers side, which seemed extremely unsafe given that it was just at a gas station. Additionally when doing this I would have really liked a confirmation of the instructions I was given as far as leaving the key under the passenger seat in case something were to happen after drop off. When requesting confirmation from the service rep I was told that it wasn't possible and that she would just be leaving a note on the account.

This location is the worst first I showed up at my scheduled time of pick up I had to wait 30 min to get my truck so they were late.lady never walked me out to my truck to look over it at all with me then I returned the truck and was told I damaged it I have a witness I didn’t do anything wrong. So then after arguing with the owner he said I wouldn’t be responsible for the old scratch. I look at the truck there are scratches everywhere. Then he hits me with a 25 dollar cleaning fee for 2 leaves I said you could have asked me to get it I feel like they were scamming me all the way I’ve never had this problem with the main location in Lorain Ohio /254 44052 but these foreigners with there stations and uhaul store out the back door it’s not good business it’s funny because I complained to the uhaul lady when she gave me my reservation she said go there I said I did and they didn’t have any knowledgeable people to help me. I will tell everyone not to use the uhaul location ever!!!

Pick up and drop off seemed awkward as associates tried to maneuver the Uhaul app using tablet. The app froze up for some unknown reason which caused delay and confusion. Problem resolved timely enough but associates cannot give undivided attention to a matter like that while waiting on others also. Overall not a horrible experience.

I use uhaul frequently. The young lady wasn’t knowledgeable on how to operate the system. It took an hour for me to get the truck!! When I finally got the truck she charged me for two days. The truck was absolutely DISGUSTING no one cleaned it, took us another 30 minutes to clean it which set us behind schedule. When returning I had the keys snatched out of my hands and was treated very disrespectfully when returning the uhaul.

I wouldnt charge for mileage if youre charging for gas....or at least lower ur rates to half of what they are. Especially if were talkin round trip. Im super happy with my experience....my bank account isnt very happy tho

Told me I couldn’t drop off at this location because Uhaul didn’t notify them I was dropping off the equipment there. This is a gas station/convenient store with only one employee working when I was there. I had to wait while the employee waited on customers coming and going. He took care of me in between customers. Uhaul did in fact give me this location as the drop of point!

very small lot also a gas station convenience store. should not be runnimg Uhaul trucks. no room to maneuver or even park it We had a 26ft. do not even know why we we instructed to drop it off there. Mobile truck share processing was not an option but there we any number of places we could have dropped it of. Not our first rodeo. 4th rental this year. having a major problem with bait and switch reservations. still owed a partial refund on truck rental back a month or so ago.

Went today your system was down two hours latwr we finally could manually rwnt one. Staff were not engaged to the rental of the equipment. Was given a key and told what truck #... when I asked where or how do I know what truck it is, they just told me... you just have to figure it out. They told me they needed another person's contact information so that when they can't get a hold of me, they have someone else to try and collect from. So this basically told me that they expected me to steal the truck. Nothing on the truck itself was gone over, I just had to figure it out myself. Entire check out process was incredibly slow.

I was pleasantly surprised at the functionality of the trailer. It looked tired but performed flawlessly. The location is small and difficult to maneuver because of all the traffic in that specific location. Only one person on duty, but fortunately he was not busy with other convenience store responsibilities so he devoted sufficient time.

When I arrived to rent my truck I was put in at 2:30 P.M. PICKUP TIME. Weird when I arrived ar 2:55 p.m. and left there ar e:06 p.m. How is this possible? Because they are cheating every person who.comes in there. I dont know but I am sure this isnt legall. I had to call customer service and they corrected the time. I was told the previous day I could pay with cash. Upon arriving I was told credit card only. No signage up saying this. I truly believe that they.are scamming us. So I had to have my friend use her credit card not a prepaid card either. Then the clerk says oh I have to charge a 100.00 deposit....Really? THIS WAS NOT MY FIRST TIME USING UHAUL BUT IT WILL BE MY LAST TIME. AND I PROMISE I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE. ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. COME TO TURN TRUCK BACK IN....THE CLERK CHARGED ME FOR 15 MILES PREVIOUSLY. THEN TELLS ME THERES 4 MORE MILES...FIRST OF ALL ITS 4.2 MILES TO AND FROM.MY DESTINATION. 1.2 MILES TO THIS RENTAL LOCATION. DO THE MATH. 1O MILES? SO UHAUL IS A SCAM SO IS THIS LOCATION. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE....WOWIF THAT WOULD OF BEEN ME I WOULD OF KISSED MY BUTT. I WOULD OF REFUNDED MY TOTAL ANMOUT OF $78.55. I WP OULDNT OF BEEN SITTING THEIR CALCULATING THIS UP. ALL THAT DID WAS MAKE ME MORE UPSET. I HAVE DISABILITIES. AND UHAUL DOES NOT TRAVH THEIR AFFILATES HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH US. YOU DISCRIMINATE AGAINST US. . I DEMANDED A PHONECALL FROM THE DISTRICT MANAGER. ITS NOW 1:12 A.M. THE DAY AFTER AND I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM EITHER...HAVING TO BE IN A DM OPERATIONS POSITION MYSELF....I WOULD OF BEENON THE PHONE TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE. UHAUL DOES NOT CARE THEY DISCRIMINATE!! I DEMAND A FULL REFUND PLUS A REFUND OF THE FUEL I HAD TO OUT IN $10.00. I EXPECT A CHECK CUT IMMEDIATELU....I HAVE BEEN DISCRIMINATED AGAIINST AND ITS VERY CLEAR. BOTH IN WHAT THE CLERK SAID HOS WHOLE DEMEANOR. I BET IF I HAD BEEN PAKISTAN OR BLACK I WOULD OF BEEN GIVEN THE UTMOST RESPECT. HAVING IT THAT I AM A WHITE FEMALE T8 YEARS OLD WITH DISABILITIES I WAS TREATED UNFAIRLY AND UNEQUAL. I WILL CONTACT WHOM I THINK IS APPROPRIATE IN THIS MATTER. I ALSO HAVE A STORAGE UNIT THROOUGH A UHAUL AFFILIATE. I SPENT ALOTOF MONEY YESTERDAY. NEXT TIME IWILL GO ELSRWHERE... THERE ARE MORE PLACES THEN UHAUL!!

Employees were nice, but it seemed like chaos. I reserved a 17". The day before I called to see if I could add a driver and was told they only had a 15". When I got there, they told me they only had a 20' and that it was going to be $10 more. I complained and the employee was nice and took the $10 off. Just seemed chaotic.

It was unfortunate that I couldn't do a one way trip it cost me more to have to return to the same location plus the time. Transmission was not shifting very fluid either. All in all it got the job done and I appreciated the opportunity to use your service during my emergency.
