I was told by u-haul that the location had a appliance mover it didn't I had to go 8 miles out of the way to get one,The driver door was hard close. While driving when I got above 45 Miles an hour The steering was scary the front it was very light the truck moved all over the road when I return the vehicle the lady who was behind the the counter didn't understand what I was talking about because of the language barrier. She did not go check the condition of the vehicle or take down the mileage I just handed her the keys teld me have a good day

The door on the vehicle wasn't able to close completely, due to the wind the day of my rental it was causing me to swerve on the roads, and the inside was dirty and unclean. I was charged $75,4 and charged again for another payment of $96.29. I used very little gas for the vehicle since i was moving 10 minutes away from each homes.

This was the worst experience renting a UHaul ever. I was charged for an additional day because the woman working never checked in the truck rental until the next day. I only had the truck for approx. 3 hours max and went approx 4-5 miles total. I have been trying to get this issue fixed with no luck. I have contacted the rental location as well as UHaul and am getting no help. In fact I was on chat with a woman at Uhaul and she ended the chat abruptly. I am very unhappy with the service I have gotten. I just want the additional charge refunded. Merci

Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. I was stranded on motorcycle due to part failure with no way of getting home. Fortunately I was able to get a uhaul after 5pm on a Friday on a holiday weekend. Had the fine print been less fine I'd have known apparently the uhaul I was unfortunately fortunate to rent was supposed to be returned to the lovely people of Washington courthouse. However I did not know this until I went to set a drop off location and there wasn't one funny enough. I called customer service and all they could tell me was that I was going to be penalized and that the charge was effectively made up. When push came to shove I was given a $625 bill with zero substantiation as to how the penalties were arrived at. I opened a case and when put into contact with the scheduler or whomever they blew me off and would not substantiate how they arrive at their number. He must have died or forgot how to do math. Very sad because I would like to know and be able to understand this absurd charge. I was just stranded and trying to get home. Uhaul made sure I wished I had walked the 300 miles home and left my bike in a ditch.

Sketchy store in a sketchy area. Pickup was pretty effortless, though. The clerk did well. Location was in Elyria, not the requested location of North Ridgeville. I think I should get some additional miles.

Atmosphere was ghetto with loud music playing. Respectfully, I have no issues with a location playing music. However, the type of music at the time was very loud, explicit & uninviting. The actual person needed to take care of Uhaul turn in was not available till the next day. Truck was turned in a day before required. Location noted truck turned in day after with only two hours before it was due. An error like this could cost a customer extra charges. Proper handling of truck turn ins need to be a priority.

Their were multiple scrapes and dents all over the truck when I picked it up. It took several minutes to go over all the damage, record it and get the agent to come out and confirm so I wouldn't be charged on the return. It would be nice if I didn't have to spend my time doing this.

Truck was dirty and had exhaust leak that smelled really bad while driving. Was poorly maintained. To improve maintain and clean trucks better. Location was very messy at the uhual counter they had.

Promise deliver closer to requested location. What would of taken 15 minutes took an hour and 1/2. Plus they took care of retail customers as a priority. On another note your call center employees need a lesson in customer service. I would give them a 1 of 10. Don't call me they day before saying I need to adjust my location to add over an hour to pick up. They don't care. Based on that I expect who ever if anyone won't care about my comments. Will use another company anytime I need to rent a vehicle again.

I had to wait to be helped until all of the gas station customers we're helped and out of the store. Assosicate would then start to help me and another customer came in and i was put on the back burner, they said "their customers are helped before uhaul customers, wow. The truck had a very LOUD muffler and the check engine light was on. I did report this before i used the truck. Also i was not aware i had to pay for mileage and also for gas. I assumed the mileage was to cover the gas since your website does not say that any where in the quoted page. I found that today after the fact under the FAQ, that's ridiculous. Anyway, bad experience overall and definatly will not return to that hole to rent from again.

The staff lady did her best to help me, while also serving her gas station/convenience store/lottery business, but, it took a long time for me to get my rental. Although the truck ran well, the check engine light was on, and I was told that they were aware of it. I also had ordered blankets and a furniture cart, but neither were on board, or , apparently, even available at this location. Finally, I am dissatisfied with how UHaul now charges penalties for late return. I was not told about this, and certainly would have made other arrangements had I known. Your advertising says $19/day, not $19 for 4 hours.

First I requested a U-Haul close to my location and the next day I had to drive 8 miles the opposite way to pick it up. Next, it smelled like cigarettes with ashes all over and muddy floor . Engine light was on from the start. I hope next person gets better service

Fix your app so a customer doesn't get charged for GAS even when returned to same level. I was charged for gas even after fueling it back to its place. Was told the APP chooses whether I get billed for FUEL. Was Billed for FUEL. Don't recommend the app at all.

The truck I rented sounded like it had no muffler. It was so loud you couldn't hear each other talk in the truck. There was an engine light on from the time we rented it. I was told to rent from this place as the first one I rented from didn't have a truck available of that size. On the day of moving the first place called Me and wanted to know why I wasn't picking up the truck there. I explained that I had been told to go to the other place for the truck. They wanted to know who had canceled them and I told them it was U-Haul. They didn't seem happy and had no idea what I was talking about.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend any location but this one, it was an amazing experience start to finish. Clean truck, amazing people and super easy process. The folks that run the place are amazing.

The lady who helped me wouldn't even talk to me u til she seen I was getting ignored. Then when she finally finally got to be the card reader stoped working and then she pretended like I didn't exist. I will NEVER GO BACK. I'll make sure I tell all me friend as well.

The system didn't work to let me check out the truck without going into the store. It took a really long time for the system to process everything. The customer service person was great, but it seemed like the system was really giving her problems and it took way longer than expected.

Dropped off the truck the same day as pickup. The next day I was charged $40 for keeping the truck an extra day. I didn't keep it an extra day. It was dropped off around 6pm, keys and contract in the 24hr drop off lock box. Shady

I will never use this uhaul location again. The owner of the gas station requires the clerk to cease all uhaul functions every time a gas station customer goes to the counter. Therefore, every 5 minutes the clerk who is conducting uhaul business will stop and spend 5 minutes at the counter checking others out. I was left waiting to conduct uhaul business up to ten times. That is 50 minutes of waiting. The vulgar language that was blasting on the store speakers made the waiting worse. This is an absolute horrible location and I will be following up with the BBB. Please, assess this location and consider removing uhaul from this business. The owner of the gas station is out of his/her mind. This is not a reflection on the clerk, who is just following instructions

This truck was very uncomfortable to drive. There are no adjustments for a person who is short to drive this truck. The seats is way too low. And there are no adjustments to make the seat go up or down. This truck needs a better adjustable seat so that the driver can adjust it so he can drive very comfortable. Also this truck drove really rough .I was really sore after getting out of the truck. . Although I think the price was right. This truck could stand a lot of improvements. This was not a good experience

When I got there I was rudely notified that my truck was not there. He refused to help me in anyway. He could of called me to let me know my truck wasn't there . I was on hold for over an hour before I was able to talk to someone. To get another truck which was smaller. I was not told what time the place was closed . I assumed it was open. It wasn't. I was going to get gas there so I couldn't fill it back up. It. Took me late into the night to do the closing because it took 1 hour and half. To get someone on the phone. That business shouldn't represent Uhaul. They give you a bad name.

The return process wasn't well explained, which led to my brother dropping off the truck without me there (he was the driver, I placed the order). I had to call the location to fix the issue and somehow 2 things that we didn't move at all ended up in the truck costing us a cleaning fee. Definitely was scammed out of that.

Maybe go over the rules with customers before letting them drive off with the vehicle? The van we recently rented smelled like smoke, the cab was pretty dirty and the passenger seat was covered in dog hair. I tried calling Express Petro to let them know about the cleanliness issue but no one answered. Luckily when I returned the vehicle I was able to explain it to the representative. He was very understanding and disappointed the situation wasn't handled before I rented the van. Apparently they would have charged the prior renter a $30 cleaning fee; but for what cleaning? I've never had an issue like this before and I will continue renting uhauls in the future from this facility. A small hiccup won't deter me! I'm just glad they understood it was not me who dirtied the van & didn't charge me! Van runs very nicely by the way. Plenty of space for what we were moving.

Explain to customer ahead of time, if you are renting the truck at 5:30-6:00pm time & are told you get the truck for 6 hrs or 24 hrs it should be the same price...but the clerk says we close at 9:30pm...if you do not have the truck back before closing at 9:30pm. We are going to charge a convenience charge of $20 after hour fee...wtf?? I have never heard of this. I have always dropped the truck off in prestine condition, & put the keys in the key drop box if they close after I return the rental...& than My account is charged accordingly. Very disappointed in this location. I had this truck for approximately 5 hrs, less than 6 hrs. I dropped it off on 8/4/2021 at 11:15 pm. They never checked the truck all day. I get a call at 6:15 pm this evening on 8/5/2021 asking where their truck is. I said the truck is sitting in your lot since last night. I get a hang up. Very unprofessional. Not cool. Very dissatisfied customer...
