Very pleased with the entire experience. In fact, I plan to rent another vehicle this weekend from the same location. Vehicle was extremely clean, staff was pleasant and it was great on gas.

Wasn't attentive at pick up. Didn't open at 7am. Was told day before he'd be there early at 630, wasn't. Then called got Google number n told to text. After still waiting was told to just go. He told me day before is I just left trailer I'd be charged $20 MORE for drop off. I've used uhaul countless times n never had an experience like this.

Since this is primarily a mini market and gas station, the ability to concentrate on the U-Haul customer is limited. They do the best that they can considering the circumstances.

The lady that help us with checkout was very rude and argumentative about where we parked the auto transport, and we were advised by a previous employee where to parked it. The auto transport was already disconnected from the truck, and the truck had to be parked further because Of the truck size, and she kept arguing that we should move it after we were already told where to park it and she was expecting us to move the truck again, connect the auto transport and move it to where she wanted it. I also returned the keys by 1400 on the 16th and never received the receipt like she said. I had to call customer service on the 17th to inquiry about it, and the customer service associate made it happen.

Verify equipment works and that the trucks are acyually cleaned. The lift for the auto transport would not go down all the way and the person running the uhaul portion of the location was gone by 3. The issue was resolved by me grabbing another, but he never updated the account with the new trailer number. The drop off location had to do so

There was a massive amount of dog hair and broken glass in the back I had to clean up before using. Also the dashboard fall on your lap when you shut the door or hit bumps. So while driving I had to reattach the dashboard which is really dangerous. Additionally no emergency break…it actually goes forward you engage the emergency brake…even more dangerous because had I not been paying attention when engaging it it would have rolled out of my driveway and hit my neighbors mailbox or worse. Worst experience ever renting a truck. If we had had to drive it for any long distance I would have returned it and rented elsewhere. It is a liability putting someone in a vehicle that doesn't run like it is supposed to.

I went to pick up the rental and the owner (who supposedly knew how their system ran) was not there and the family member (mother or mother-in-law) didn't have any clue how to help with the checkout. Their manual check in system was down and the check in via the phone app was difficult to use and it ended up taking me almost 45 minute to check in and get going with the van I rented. This caused me to cut into my rental time and caused great distress. This owner needs more training of his help and I will NOT rent from them again.

Contactless check in did not really make sense. Still has to go inside the store. Truck did not have the dolly and furniture pads in it. Someone has to get them and then they came out and stated they did not have any furniture covers. I was told that part of my order would be refunded.

The guy and his son at the Sunoco U-Haul place in Oldsmar have always been helpful, kind and congenial. (This is the second time for me to use their facility). The facilities could use a little bit of facial uplift. No matter what, it was good service, and I would still recommend them.

This was THE worst U-Haul experience I've ever had. This owner was very very rude to me and suggested I needed to take my U-Haul elsewhere because they didn't have room for a big truck (although they had plenty of parking). The lady proceeded to argue with me about me needing to call U-Haul to have them change my drop off location although this was already pre-determined . Horrible experience and it felt like I was dropping some terrible burden on someone . After this , we argued and I proceeded to do the return online and just drop the keys in their drop box as she refused to help me. I would never hope that anyone else have to return a U-Haul to this location, absolutely the worst customer experience I've ever experienced , I do not know if I will be renting a U-Haul going forward.

Everything went well, and the on-line checkin didn't work, so the gentleman who checked us in was super-nice and helpful. The van was brand new with 4900 miles on it; but it hadn't been vacuumed out, the cab was full of sand and dust, and had a horrible gasoline odor that didn't go away. When we returned it at the end we were charged a 25 cleaning fee through the automatic check-out, which isn't fair when we picked it up in not-clean shape. So, no, sadly I wouldn't recommend it.

Correspondence between text and phone was a little confusing, and I didn't get a callback a couple of times when promised. I encourage better communication and quicker callbacks. Otherwise, they were helpful, kind, reasonable and informative. They did well accommodating me - even worked with me in giving me a good deal. The young man who worked with me on Saturday was professional.

I went to the location on time but I had to wait for the owner to come over and give me the keys to the reserved truck - when I returned the truck, the owner said he will take care of the return himself, then later he charged me for extra fuel even that I filled the truck from his gas station before I leave. Just a bad manner and bad business that I thought I can trust.

We drove maybe 10 miles total. Recieved vehicle at 1/4 tank. Checking it out longer than expected. The drivers license and credit card machine Not working properly. That's fine but I was late to meet the movers. So returned the vehicle with more than 1/8 the tank. No time again… . Total charge would have been $77. I asked them to fill up the tank kind of mad it was on 1/4 tank. Considering there was no gas to start with. Charged to fill up was $30 plus additional $16 for gas. Not happy about receiving The vehicle on 1/4 tank iand $30 charge on top of gas…. would have been nice to know ahead of time … nice check out ady

The truck's cab smelled like a wet dog, and there was dog hair in the corners. After I rented it, I took it home and cleaned the cab plus all the windows. It didn't help the smell, though.

Don't think it is this locations fault but my whole experience with my reservation was ridiculous. The traffic manager did what he could to get me the reserved vehicle I requested. The call I got the day before I was to leave said the only 10ft truck available would eventually be at the Clearwater Missouri rd not where I requested a block from my house in Palm Harbor. I drove by that location on Saturday and saw at least three 10 ft trucks in their lot.

It wasn't so much the location, as the mobile process. That was the worst experience I've ever had. I would recommend this location, but I would strongly encourage anyone to avoid the mobile process. For some reason, and I had no idea, a third person (not a driver) was needed to call and confirm I was renting a truck? So my boss was called at 7:45 AM on Easter Morning. Wth?
