In order to move my son home from Grand Forks, I had no other choice than to drive an hour out of the way to pick up a trailer in Thief River Falls when Uhaul called me to tell me they didn't have one available in Grand Forks. I scheduled this a month ahead of time. I will not be renting from Uhaul again. I'm so glad my son graduated from UND and that I won't need to deal with this any longer.Rodney K.

When I did the online reservation I reserved two furniture dolly's, but when I arrived to pick up my trailer they said they did not have the dolly's. I was NOT informed in any way that they would not have them, and I was moving a china cabinet so needed them! I had to run around town to find them, I WAS NOT HAPPY!Denise M.

They didn't have the right sized truck. They didn't have one of the dollys that I had paid for. They tried to not give me an appropriate refund for the dolly that they did not have that I paid for.Herman W.
Get the location re mapped, luckily we were able to figure out it was mapped for the old location and made it work to get our rental!! Otherwise it was fantastic and the staff and Fast Graphix was great!! If we ever need a uhaul again definitely will be reaching out!Riley H.

The operators of this location are personable and helpful. The ONLY reason I didn't give them an excellent was that there is no sign for U-haul on the road and if you don't know where they are its easy to miss the turn.Louan S.
The customer service agent who helped me booked my rental and hitch did not explain the disclaimer that my trailer would not be in my area. Instead, I had to drive over 45 minutes away to pick up my trailer after already waiting over 2 hours to get my hitch installed when I was already on a time crunch. The operater who booked me my trailer and hitch appointment did not mention anything about the wait for the installation and if my location had the trailer I needed. A huge waste of time and gas. No uhual should be a "one man" operation. There should have been a way for my trailer to be delivered to my location or at least notify me about the possibility of it not being in my location.alina R.

The 24/7 app and online didn't work so well for me but once the location operators heard about my issues they resolved the matter immediately so i could be on my way. Very pleased with how they resolved the issue.Shawn L.

I didn't get the opportunity to interact with any personnel as I dropped my trailer off after business hours. I can only comment on how easily I found the location and that I had a large lot to try and back my trailer in to. I haven't had a bad experience on this move though so I'm willing to bet the reps there would have been just as good as the pick-up location.TRAVIS E.

three times we stopped and wanted to let the person in charge know that we were bringing back our uhaul trailer. no one was ever at the building. we left the trailer in front of the business area. we tried calling the number on the bill but got no one. this number was the national uhaul company number. bringing it back was not good!John M.

Please have the equipment we reserve and pay for ready when we need it, Luckily i doublechecked the day before...and low and behold, you didn't have what I payed for. I had to drive an extra 50 miles to stand in line for half an hour to get a simple trailer. SHAME ON YOU! What is your time and money worth? not only that, I had to contact the Uhaul office multiple times.....what a waste of time....and money..Ryan O.

I was extremely disappointed when I arrived to pick up the truck, I was advised that I had been â€œupgradedâ€ to a 20 ft truck, even though I ordered a 15 ft. This reservation was made a month in advance so there is NO excuse that a truck was available. Not impressed, not impressedKimberly R.

The worst Customer Service treatment I have ever gotten from an individual. Face to face ommunication and emotional intelligence is seriously below average. When customer asked questions and clear explinations customer was then treated in a dismissive demeaning manor. Worst on return of product was told after a large argument that Business felt it had gone above and beyond, had bent over backwards to assist me the customer, and the customer was intentionaly trying to get a free uhaul move. This was a personal jab at customer I have never been treated so vulgar in my life. TO IMPROVE PERHAPS WHEN A CUSTOMER ASKS QUESTIONS VALID QUESTIONS SEVERAL TIMES TO UNDERSTAND, TAKE THE TIME TO ACTUALLY EXPLAIN WHEN CUSTOMER ASKS FOR A BETTER EXPLINATION. Also an apology was never given when customer called back later to offer an apology to provider. It works both ways. In the end it was bad communication and miss understanding that turned into a personal attack on the customer. MerciChristine M.

I reserved the truck through the Warroad facility a week before needing it and we ended up driving all the way to Thief River Falls to pick it up. 96 miles! That took the better part of a day when we had tasks to take care of while in Warroad.MARLENE H.

The insurance policy seems extortionist. I'm not talking about the sales technique - I was simply asked yes or no if I wanted it, but we were told that if we do not have the policy any damages had to be paid in full upon return and then we could work with our own insurance company to get reimbursed. I don't have 20 $K laying around to cover the cost of the truck if it get's totaled out through no fault of my own so I paid the 14 $which at nearly 74 % of the base cost of the rental is unreasonably high. In addition to that, 99 cents a mile when I have to replace any gas used is also unreasonably high - the total cost for the rental of a truck that I only used for 3 hours and 5 minutes was 59,38 $ (I'm including the 5 $in gas I added). These additional fees should be included in your ads - otherwise it feels like bait and switch.Pam A.
