Got locked out and had to call emergency service. In this day and age the vehicle should have central locking.

larry dThe service is not friendly at all and feels scammy. They even snuck on extra fees a couple of times hoping I wouldn't notice and telling me they're mandatory. I think I've rented 4 times from this location and it's been bad each time but unfortunately it's the closest location for me so I have no choice! One time they weren't open at the time they were stated too. Another time they closed early and forgot to leave the key in the box for me to mobile pick up. And every time the parking lot is near impossible to get out of and park again. It's too small and right for these big trucks. I also got yelled at by a neighbour for parking there even though it's a designated U-Haul spot. They said they're fed up with it being for U-Haul and the owners of Food World are incredibly rude for the neighbors. 142206

yousef aThe parking in this pickup location is very tight so if you're not an expert driver you might struggle parking it on pickup and drop-off. The person who attended to us upon checkin was very snarky, really not good for our first experience. The person who handled our drop-off was very accommodating though, I hope I got his name.

Raymundo PThe vehicle was filled with mud and the back smelled like a barn. It was clear the vehicle hadn't been cleaned after last use and was in dire need of it. When I dropped the vehicle, they informed me I'd receive a receipt via email. I still have not received and have no idea what I was billed for the vehicle in the end. Disappointed with the experience.

Cora RThe location is great, but your app needs improvement. You've overloaded the app with too much functionality, causing two problems for customers. Firstly, it takes too much time for them to navigate. Secondly, some people who are unfamiliar with technology or don't own a smartphone face difficulties. Thus, I believe making the app mandatory isn't a wise choice.
Shaminder sMy experience was terrible. I initially booked at a location closer, but got a call saying the truck is not available at the location I picked, and they move my booking to Food World location. Upon the change, I confirmed that Mobile pickup is available with U Haul Customer service, and I can picked up at 9am. Thinking everything is settled, I move on to organize the move. Out of the blue, I got a call the night before the move, saying that Mobile pickup is unavailable by a staff from Food World and the store open at 10am. I was not happy about the delay, but it was too late to change any bookings. We arrived at the store by 09:55 the next morning just to pick up on time. The store did not open on time, I called all the contact numbers but no responses. Upon calling U Haul CS, I was told the owner is arriving and would open the door. He did not arrive until 1035, and gave me an attitude, told me "the store opens at 10 and you arrived too early". By the time I picked up the truck, it was 11am, a total of 2 hours delay. The whole experience is frustrating and stressful.

Wilbert RI have been double charged for all my rentals Truck, Pads and Dolly. While I was the last to have the truck for the day returned timely used the Uhaul app to return the truck (which is unnecessary when you can drop the key off in the mailbox). The app crashed on me multiple times making me sit in the parking lot and causing me to have a "late" return while I was there everything ready to go. so now I have double the cost of the rental which is in my mind a complete scam. This location is terrible & wasn't even the location & pick up time I initially ordered from and was forced to use via lack of vehicles elsewhere.
Brett MI made a reservation for 9 with the intention of doing the digital pick up. Arrived at the location at 8:50 to start the process and checked my reservation to see that it had been changed to 10, when the shop opens. I was not contacted or informed of this change ahead of time. A huge waste of my time and the time of everyone helping me move. Don't offer digital pickup if you can't deliver on digital pickup.
James RI booked for 2pm and had help coming at 2pm, the location called and woke me up before 1pm saying I had to come get the uhaul now because they're closing to go out for lunch. This meant I had to rush to get the uhaul and didn't have moving help coming until 2pm so I had to find somewhere in the meantime to park the uhaul while waiting for help to come move the furniture instead of going straight to the apartment building and being able to use the 30 min loading zone as planned. The uhaul was parked in an extremely tight parking lot which I had to get it out on my own, the parking lot was so tight I had difficulty maneuvering my Hyundai sonata around it, I ended up having to go into the business which had parking spots across from the uhaul spots and had to ask the employees to move their vehicles for me to be able to get the uhaul out of the parking lot. The cab of the uhaul was dirty, found old fast food french fries all over the floor.

kamil aOwner/manager there was rude and arrogant. Stepped out to view the returned Uhaul and told ('commanded') me to stay in place and watch the store in the meantime. Twice! Guy then almost charged me for over 1000 miles of additional driving (for a move from Edmonton to Calgary <210 miles!) just because he couldn't originally figure out how to convert the km reading in the truck to miles. He also implied that I had changed the readout in the truck whereas I never changed anything inside the vehicle aside from the seat and the right side mirror! Had to explain to him what he was doing wrong with the conversion. This delayed the check in procedure considerably. Parted ways in a friendly manner, though. I was just glad to get out. Wouldn't rent from this location on a weekend, at least.
Alexander VMy reservation was for 10:00 but the employee who handled the U-Haul stuff did not show up until 12:00. Hardly any real apologies from them. Was very frustrating.
Jason OStill haven't seen my final bill , 24 hours later. No documentation was provided upon return of vehicle. I called the location after return and they said I would see an email receipt in 15 minutes. I still haven't received it. Vehicle was returned in perfect condition
Alex CI had significant issues with the app upon returning the rental. I returned the rental the same day. When I tried using the app since the store was closed, it would not register my location so inbound not proceed to next steps. I called the uhaul customer service after waiting for 10 mins they transferred me to the technical department and after waiting for another 10 mins I gave up. Overall, I was there for about 35 mins and had to return the following day when the store was open to make the return. This made my experience 1 star worthy.
Mohammad-Amin BFor the second straight time the vehicle I booked well in advance was not available for me. Interior of truck I got had dirty floor and door roller came out of the track at one point. U-Haul is a poorly run operation. Seems like lousy support for poor guys at pick up location as well. I would not be confident in your company if I had a critical move that needed a vehicle.

Omamerhi EThis location called me the day before to let me know that their mobile pick up was unavailable. I had to pick up the vehicle the day before and since I had the vehicle for a 24 hour rental, the 24 hours started when I picked up the vehicle. I also had a tight timeline to work with and couldn't just change my timeline because I had to pick up the vehicle early. The thing that bothered me the most about the experience was that the representative did not apologize once for this inconvenience. Additionally, when I voiced my frustration that I needed the vehicle the next morning and barely had time to pick up the keys the day before, the representative told me that since I only needed the vehicle until 5pm, it was "okay" for me to pick up the vehicle the day before. My issues with this situation were a) I was informed too late that other trucks from other locations were already unavailable and b) the representative did not apologize and in fact only added made the situation worse.
Ke RIt was easy to get to, and the location was clearly marked as being a U-Haul location. The service was fast and efficient and the gentleman explained everything clearly. We used the vehicle without any issues and were able to return it quickly after hours. A good experience overall and definitely recommend picking up at Food World.
Viviana PI requested for small truck but was forced to take the bigger one(higher charges) as they said the small is booked. But it was still parked even when i returned.

Very hard to see if there was necessary damage to report. The engine light was on at pick-up and still on drop off. I opted for the mobile pick-up and struggled with it for almost 45 min before going inside only to learn that isn't an option at this location.

Graham BOnly tjingnI am unhappy about, is that I was told I wont be vharged if I am a little late, as long as I put the key in the drop box amd end the contract. I was about 2hours over and did less kilometers, but was charges for 2 days.

Andre TFirst it was too expensive. Second your add says 19,99 but mine started from $30 plus mileage and others. For the same amount of time and mileage l could pay $25 but you charge me $80. And after l want to return my truck l had to do return online and it tok my 10 to 15 min. So overall your service is way expensive then other providers. And l dont want to use your vehicles again.
