U-haul vehicles going out of the city in winter time should MANDATORY HAVE WINTER TIES. I just drove through a snow storm and because of the ALL-SEASONS TIRES, I was slipping everytime I tried to accelerate. Therefore I was reduced to driving 60-70 km/hr for most of my trip adding another 3 hours to my time. IT WAS A VERY LONG TRIP.

The customer service was horrible at this location. Not only was I cut off multiple times, I was cut off multiple times and disrespected the whole time. His attitude was garbage as I was asking questions as to why the online reservation and check out was not working. Asked about the license plate number to match the van I had rented and once again was cut off and made to look like an idiot. No true explanation was given to me about any of my questions and I will never go back to this location and have told multiple people about my experience there! Would not recommend to anyone and would even suggest uhaul pull their services from this store and not allow their product to be represented here!!!

We had asked to rent blankets but none were provided. We only drove it 37km and it took 15L ($20 in gas) to refill it. Very poor customer service. What was supposed to be a $20 rental for 4 hours turned into $80.

I picked up the car and went to my previous apartment, parked in front of the door, loaded a few boxes and two suitcases and unloaded them at my current apartment, again in front of the door and not parking. I even filled the tank more than I recieved it with. The next morning the UHaul owner(?!) called and said there's a scratch on the roof that I'm responsible for and it's because I went inot parkings!!! I kept explaining to him and he said yeah, all customers say that but I know you've done this!!!! and he threatened to charge me for something I have not done AND i had gotten the insurance as well!!! Very rude and not respecting customers!

My ratings are for the location on 37th street but my comments are for my overall experience. I was originally booked at the Kensington location and was told the vehicle that I was suppose to rent had mechanical issues so I had to rent at another location. I'm already paying a per km rate and with the extra inconvenience of renting from another location I felt that I should have been compensated slightly. I suggested a few bonus kms but apparently because I had only booked 3 days before there wasn't anything that could be done. I don't understand how the number of days matters. In the end I got the job done with the van that I rented but the next time I'll explore other options despite there being a Uhaul 2 blocks from my house.

I am very confused with the (online) booking. There was an option so I can reserve at 9am, check in, and pick up using my phone. However, I was contacted to change time to 10am, i.e., when the shop opens. More importantly, I had opted out of $15 "damage coverage". But now in my receipt, I see there is a charge for that. I need a refund on it. Thanks

Actually you need to improve if for this customer first.. and then you can work on the next customer. if you care about customer service have your customer service manager call me or send a note to me such that I can provide my info on my problem which I would like to have solved. 587 582 5622 email@example.com. The person we rented me the van was polite, there was another guy when I dropped the van off who started yelling me and accusing me of not having fill enough the tank. I followed the instructions and they told me I didn’t fill the tank to full, I ended up paying 13$ more, that’s fine if I have to pay it, but yelling at customers is not the right way, this person must learn manners, I don’t like rude and noisy people, they only show their lack of intelligence.
