No issues with the rental company but my issues is with uhaul it's self.. we rented a uhaul from a different location and on the morning we were to pick it up we were told it wasn't available and the only thing they had available was a smaller size but we had to drive the opposite location to get it. Because of uhauls mix up we ended up needing more trips and driving more miles so we were charged more. Plus I asked not to get the $15 coverage and was charged for it anyway so what should have been a $79 trip ended up costing me over $130. Very disappointing!

Shirley Bnot all lights were working on trailer and rear chain was broken. also trailer was in a accident at some point causing the tire to drag on the tire when turning right.
William BSizes on the trucks would help when you see them so you can tell what size you are looking at when looking to rent.

GENE CI was charged a deposit of $50 on pick up and never refunded on return. Contract was marked as paid in full and no deposit taken! What a huge rip off! The chain came off trailer while traveling down road, looks like it was damaged and needed to be replaced. Needless to say I am not very happy!

Brian FThe uhaul was not clean before I used it. It didn't stop me from doing what I needed to I just don't like the feeling of them thinking it was possibly me who made the inside a mess. The headlight also kept flickering on and off. Used one headlight the majority of the time

ROBERT SI was charged for insurance that I didn't want . I think shouldn't have been charged 20$ and all the milage due to the location being so far away from me.. The keyser Location is a lot better , they know how to use the computer and take care of the customer's.

dan nThe staff was professional and went way beyond call of duty. My reservation was made at 4:30 p.m. and the store closes at 5:oo p.m. They stayed late to accommodate my late arrival caused by an error in adress listed on the www. My web search for the Ft.Ashby uhaul location targeted an address which is several miles away from the actual uhaul rental location. I called customer service to relay this problem and was told that it was Google's problem and not Uhauls, and that I should complain to Google. Seems to me that this would be a common problem and worthy of uhauls attention since the staff at Ft.Ashby said that many customers experience the same issue with locating the rental location for over a yearr now. On my return trip, we experienced a tire blow out on the trailer and a near blowout of a second trailer tire. After a 4,5 hr delay we were back in the road. The roadside assistance technitian commented that the trailer was in desperate need of service. I would like to know if uhaul would compensate us for this in anyway since our trip was extended by nearly five hrs on a work night causing considerable hardship the following day. Thanks for the opportunity to share our experience.

Cheryl KI do not think this was their issue at the local level, but I arrived at the location having ordered a 5 x 8 and there was only a 4 x 8 on the lot. This made our packing & moving MUCH harder. What was even more frustrating was that I had to go a hour away from my location to find a 5 x8 trailer! I was shocked to not find ANY availability any closer and then to arrive and not have the correct trailer waiting for me was very irritating. The store manager was extremely helpful and polite. I do not have any complaints about his professionalism at all. I was very surprised at Uhaul's lack of product in our Eastern Panhandle area extending into the greater Winchester, VA area.
Susan JMake sure equipment is checked back in, in a timely manner. I received an email stating that the equipment I rented was not returned. I returned it the same day I rented it but it took almost 4 days for the location to check it back in. My advice is to make sure you return whatever you rent from them during business hours so they can see the items returned.
