Brian GActually have a truck on the lot when someone reserves one. I was supposed to get a truck an hour away in Opelika and had to drive out of my way to get this truck and to take it back.

Ethel TFirst off this was not my drop off location which goes to show how poor your system is. This was the second place I was sent to pick up a replacement car hauler since the first place I was told to go only had another broken trailer for one way rentals. Also the trailer I did pick up was poorly checked as I found out the next morning it did not have functional running lights.
Paul SThey didn't have my equipment and I had to wait for two hours for someone to return a different Uhaul and drive an hour away to get other equipment. The Uhaul was not cleaned out because I found someone else's wallet inside the cab. The blankets were everywhere and I had to track down 12 for my order. The personnel were slow and extremely misinformed. Horrible experience I will be calling the customer service line to complain and request compensation. This location caused me to get 7 hours behind our moving schedule and end up getting one hour of sleep the day before a 10-hour drive.
SAMUEL MThe inside of the truck in the front was dirty. Dirt was all on the floor. Overall it was a great experience. When I dropped the truck off the heads lights kept going on and off.
Sheena SNothing, I have done a lot of rentals over the past few months. The service is excellent. The staff is always supportive and helpful. They are always willing to work with the customer the best way that they can. I do not recommend no changes.

Keith SWe rented the small uhaul and we thought we didn’t need it but for a few hours and but when it turned out to be longer they rushed us and we paid $96 dollars to use it 2 and a half hours they didn’t offer us no money back that would be my only complaint
Jennifer KI was charged for gas without asking and the truck gas was where it was supposed to be. I explained how once you drive off the needle moved just turning it without cranking it wouldn't register correctly. One female said I just work here, the other gave me this nasty look. The male their did go out and seen what I was explaining as yes it was filled to where it was supposed to be upon returning it. It was already charged they had to make two calls and was told it would get adjusted if it wasn't in a few days to come back. It wasn't a problem when you charged your $315. Sometimes it pays to ask questions first, 99 % of the time the customer is right especially if you spent that much to rent a vehicle for two days you seriously think they will short you $14 in gas. Not friendly at this location at all very nonchalant. But thanks to the male that did step in and made the call. Waiting for my refund. Need better customer service training at this location or may want to let go of renting U-hauls, first impressions are lasting ones.

Linda CThe employee that hooked me up had zero to little training. He hooked me up, didnt tight down the cuppler at all, didnt check the break lights (just checked the turn signals), didnt cross chains and hooked up the break chain to the other chains not my receiver. I know better so this wasnt an issue i cleaned it all up before i left but could have been an issue for someone that didnt check. The staff and location were great.

Valli BPicked up a car hauler from this location. Seemed to be in good shape. Noticed it bumping when coming to a stop. Checked the brake fluid reservoir, empty. Had to stop and get DOT3 Thankfully, the trailer made it through Atlanta. Because right as I was about to cross the state line from SC into NC on Hwy 25. The wheel bearing completely failed cause the wheel to come off. Thankfully it didn't hit another car in the process.

Thomas PRental pickup was not at our requested location. We had to drive 15 miles one way to get it. When filling up for gas, it kept shutting off, which was frustrating to deal with especially when needing six tanks to get ro our destination.

Michael HThis location is not easy to find. The place doesn't even look like a uhaul rental location at all. The people that work in this little store don't even seem to know what's going on. The girl at the counter just passed me off to another older guy because she couldn't find her butt with a compass and a map! I tried to give her the reservation number, but she quickly said that it wouldn't help her. She tried to look up my name, but said she couldn't find it, she said that my paperwork wouldn't help either. I suggest better training and/or a better location.
FAITH GExcellent only for Hannah who assisted me from pick up and advising me how to correct the issue of them charging for an extra day when the truck was returned on the same day. Picked up the truck around 11 am and dropped it off at 2000. Saw they charged me for two days called up there spoke to Hannah. She saw the truck was not checked in and asked her co workers if the truck was there this morning they advised "No". Communication is a big key in the service industry especially as a dealer for your services. I have fuel receipts from the service station 5 miles from their location and my sister followed me to drop it off yesterday evening. My personal vehicle was parked in front of their store. Which I picked up when dropping off the truck. Now it's my responsibility to call your customer service to resolve their error. I don't know how anyone didn't see. 15 foot U-Haul truck sitting in front of their store. My experience from my initial reservation from another location in phenix city and my truck not being available and having to go further and not get any compensation for going a further distance and now this incorrect additional charge because your authorized dealers employees were apparently blinded by the only truck that was in the front by morning they neglected to do their due diligence and check if anyone moved the truck back to the back of their warehouse where they keep them to confirm they just give a dishonest answer.

dennis jThe truck was nasty and dirty. There was food on the inside and used water bottles. It felt like I was sitting in germs and COVID. The windshield had so many bugs I had to wash it. It was the only truck available so I took it. I spread it with Lysol snd took precautions to feel safe
Teresa BTruck cab was full of dog hair. I took it away since I was running late due to being transferred from Columbus Box Rd location. Over all terrible experience with Box Road. Had a reservation for a week. Called a t 0730 the morning I was to pick up my one way rental and told the truck was returned yet. Took until 1230 to find another truck for me a t the Ft Mitchell location.
William BI booked this uhaul a month in advance and they let me know a day before they didn't have any available so I had to drive an hour out of the way to pick up the trailer.

TERRANCE BThe ratchet mechanisms on the trailer were rusty and in poor working order. It was difficult to secure the vehicle to the trailer. The truck was in excellent condition.
HARRY HWhite dog hair was everywhere, even embedded in the seats. You could tell that the truck cab had not been cleaned for a while. Mud was all over drivers floorboard
