Owner a was rude and condescending. I suffer from MS symptoms and he mocked me . In addition, he did not have the cargo van I had originally asked for.

Nathan MThe windshield was filthy and there was no water or windshield cleaning fluid in the system so when we went up a series of Hills into the sun we were totally blinded and had no way to clean the windshield. It became dangerous. They should always check this and clean the windshield before renting to a customer.

Troy JProblem started at pick up. Our reservation was for a 26" truck. I received a confirmation call two days before the pick up which was to be at 9am in Palmdale. We arrived to the location and no truck was available. Called around and there was to be one at 11:15. That did not happen either. As I had hired people to help us move I had to rent a 15" truck. What could have been moved in one trip took three and cost me additional 250 miles. The truck was in a bad shape, ac did not work. What was to be an easy move became a nightmare. Everything delayed, a lot of extra money spent and overall service was to bare minimum. Pick up locations were in bad parts of town, one even seemed like a junkyard. I hope I will never have to use Uhaul again. Nobody, nowhere cared.
Paul JI passed this entrance the first time driving by since it's entrance is kind of hidden. The general store is where I went to turn in the key and we were in and out pretty quick. The store cat was very friendly. We ended up washing the front of the uhaul but couldnt get to the top. We had a lot of bugs. We wernt charged for that. We also got a call the day before we had to turn it in to see if there were any questions. That was nice cause I did have questions.

Thomas MI tried to pick up at the location at 7am and the Uhaul website said that I could. But when I tried to use the automated pick up I couldn't because the location doesn't open until 8am. Uhaul needs to let people know the hours of the pickup locations ahead of their making a reservation

Marta PUpon getting the truck I noticed it dirty. I figured, hey, it's a moving truck, it's gonna be dirty. When I returned the truck I returned it in the same order as I had taken it. When the salesmen told me the total price I was shocked. I asked him to please show me the bill so I could confirm the total. He refused and told me he wouldn't until I paid the bill. I had done my own calculations and the bill was about 45 dollars more then expected. I continued to ask for the bill to confirm the balance but he refused and then stated "If you refuse to pay, I will charge you another day to the bill". Ofcourse I wasn't looking for more to be added to the bill. I completely felt I was being strong armed by the salesmen due to him having the power to make additional chargers. I at this point felt afraid and with fear of backlash, I gave him all the money I had, which was less then the bill. At that point he finally showed me the bill and I was finally able to see the extra charges added to the bill. I'm a disabled Marine Corps Veteran so I have a Service Dog to help me through my days as they are very emotional, long, and scary every day. When I asked him about the extra charges he stated "cause the truck came back dirty" I told him that was the way I got it and that it wouldn't be a problem that I would clean it. He then stated "It's too late now, you already paid. Plus you had a dog in it" i tried to explain that my dog was a service dog but at this point he was just ignoring me and had a posture of a confrontational manner about him. My personal opinion is that when his cat saw my dog and it ran away and hid and the son of the salesmen which was behind the counter and he couldn't find it, he blamed me for the incident and took it out by me having to pay more then I was supposed too. So now I have a completely bad taste about uhaul when I've always thought of it as a good company. I know this message is not going to go anywhere but I felt I had to say something. Now I'm being charged an additional 30 dollars if I don't pay the remaining balance by Tuesday. This turn from an unwanted move to and incredible nightmare and I say nightmare very loosely as a disabled military veteran.

Wait over 40 minutes to talk to person on phone for IMMEDIATE SERVICE INTHE DARK IN UNSAFE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! RUSTY UNMAINTAINED EQUIPMENT VERY DIFFICULT TO OPERATE CAB STINKS WREAKS OF BODY ODOR SWEAT!!! Every time I used trucks !!! TRUCKS SOUNDED LIKE THEY NEEDED MAINTANENCE AND ENGINE SERVICED!!! We are not your employees to clean your trucks!!! BAD SERVICE ALL AROUND !!!! UHaul rental storage does not pro rate your storage unit when you empty it they charge full months rent so they can get double rent when you leave before your rental date is due !!!! I get paid once a month rent due in 28 days just before I get paid therefor late payment applied!!! Screw job in all respects !!!! As I said CUSTOMER SERVICE, EQUIPMENT, IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE, PHONE CALLS UNANSWERED FOR 30-40 minutes, DIRTY RUSTY STINKY EQUIPMENT STINKS!!!!

JOSEPH AOnly needed an appliance dolly for a day, but I am appreciative of the gentleman placing it into my Prius carefully. As it is quite heavy and a tad awkward for a woman alone to do. Had help at home to unload and reload.
Rebeka CIf they are out of something it should not be available on line. Made for a horrible day when I had to look all over for 2 furniture dollies. Then couldn't just rent them alone. Set me back a day and had to pay for another day with the truck. Very upsetting to have to pay for U-hauls mistake. I called and y'all did nothing for me so I won't use uhaul again.

Nancy OThe owner at the Palmdale Feed Store U-Haul place was extremely rude he charged me $100 for insurance which I clearly stated that I did not want it because they were going to charge me per day I explained to him that I did not ask for insurance he agreed with me he remembered that I said no but he did charge me anyways I asked for a refund he got rude and kicked me out of the store cussing and cursing at me I was overcharged for something I didn't ask I do not recommend this place the owner is rude and unprofessional
Estrada HI did everything on the app and got my quote which I took , only drove the car 20 miles and they charged me 29$ in gas plus they charged me other fees that didn't make sense! Never again
Cesar AThis site is always charging me more than the actual amount. They claimed I drove 146 miles, when I know that my destination was only 35 miles away, so I couldn't have driven more than 100 miles roundtrip. Last time I used them, they tried to tell me I had a full tank of gas, when it was actually at 1/2 a tank. And then again, they charged me extra. I will not be returning to this site again.
