I dropped off at night so it was dark and hard to pinpoint. Also, they had a truck blocking the key drop off box so it was hard to find

Super nice guy at the place, but the trailer was damaged, my lights weren't working correctly, and the chains couldn't connect to my car….yet he let me leave the lot knowing I had 1 000 miles to go. I was set off by two changes in pickup location within 24 hours of rental…each one farther from my house. I was promised a $50 credit, which I still have not seen.

Marjani PMake sure the business is open or you are very literally screwed and will not be getting a rental. The location was fine otherwise, but when trying to do the self-check on my phone, UHaul's stupid f**king website wouldn't let me start the process until I was "at the location". I was circled the building but could not 'get there' since the GPS marker was at the center and the business was closed. I don't know how that is deemed acceptable that I need to be standing DIRECTLY over the dropped GPS pin that may be simply located somewhere (anywhere) on a business that may or may not be open during the time you schedule for a pickup. I had to wait in the rain until the business owner thankfully showed up since a different renter who knew them called them over.

Shinette MI cannot see or print my receipt! Also maybe it would be nice that you tell people that the last thing do do is deposit the key and paperwork! I locked the truck and then dropped the key and paperwork into the lock box then opened the app to return the van oops!! Lol !!
paul rThis place was great. Very helpful, friendly and responsive. The original rental was at Galena Ave and the tow dolly was defective and I didn't find out until I hooked it up and he was a half hour late getting there. This placed savedme, big time.

Veaceslav TPlease ensure that UHAUL charges correct bill to their customers. Despite returning the Van in time, I was charged one day extra and additional 200 miles (does not make sense when I just drove only 17 mile)
Suman PCustomer service was awful! I've never had an owner argue with a customer like that before. There was a lock on my truck with no key and the owner kept arguing with me saying there was no lock. Then he closed early making me go to another Uhaul to get the lock off.

The location before this one was horrible as the person made no effort to help...he just told me the transaction was pending from a reservation done online for his location. Although the FINAL pickup location was busy, he noticed my frustration and aggravation and asked me to be patience and I was because I knew it wasn't his fault! I was able to get the unit I needed for the jobs I had to do, so for that I am grateful...

George MEverything was fine. Only complaint was when I asked about after hours return the agent at the location said just drop it off. "We have cameras so we know when you dropped it off." It wasn't until after I left the location I looked at the paperwork and it stated I need to do an online return or I will be charged a $20 fee. The agent should have made this clear since I asked about returns. I ended up driving back to the location to do the uhaul after hours return process.
Pawel LThe Furniture Warehouse U-Haul dealer is trying to charge me a three gallon gas surcharge at $4,25 per gallon when I only put 9 miles on this rental and I refueled it with almost 2 gallons before I returned it. Do not trust this dealer! And why is U-Haul okay with this sort of abuse.
Mark SIt took too long for the clerk to enter the transaction. he had to re-enter information that I had entered online to book the rental. Why couldn't he have entered my contract number and pulled up the agreement? Someone re-did the wiring harness and somewhere during the trip the trailer lights shorted out. I am sure that wasn't done by Uhaul. I took a picture if you are interested. I received your text when I picked up the equipment. By the time I recognized that you were looking for input the text had timed out..

I will never rent a trailer again who rents them out as a side line on their regular busines.

Kiel DWe rented a cargo van for two days. It had not been cleaned inside. Also, when we reserved it on the phone we were told that if we went over 75 miles, we would get a better deal--$89 plus $0,29 per mile over 75. However, when we went in to pick it up, the rep said she didn't know about that or couldn't find the option to confirm it. Also, when we first drove the van the Anti-Lock Brake Service light and bell kept coming on. Eventually it stopped. Finally, when I tried to print the receipt from email I could not figure out how to get it to print. Not very user friendly. The main thing we were pleased with was that the U-Haul guy in Geneva at Duke & Lee's located this rental van for us quickly the same morning I called. Next time we need a rental van or truck I will go to Duke & Lees in Geneva, and not to Furniture Warehouse in Aurora.

Daniel PWanted to pick up on Douglas Road. Was notified I had to pick dolly up on New York Street. New place wasn't prepared for me. I wasted my time with pre registering. Had to do it all over again. Plus had to figure out why the program wasn't allowing me to rent at first. Ended up, they didn't input a wide dolly in program.

I was there at 8am and he didn't show up until 8:30am and said his son was supposed to open up at 8am and he got side tracked. (I wasted my time and missed an important conference call at my work as a result)

The building was open, but no one was inside... we went searching in every room to see if someone was in there... we walked around outside the building. I tried calling the building and all the phones were ringing inside, but no one answered. We ended up finding a drop box for the truck key, but it would have been helpful if someone could have directed us or let us know that would be all we need to do. I am hoping that UHaul knows I returned the truck on time because no employee was there to confirm this.

Jim RWe were promised a 15ft truck and they had to find one the day of ever pre ordering uhal said it is guaranteed Then returning truck on a Sunday when uhal sent us to a closed facility we called uhal online they said we had rented 2 trucks and drove thousands of miles more than we did and we had paper work and odometer to prove it. Online was no help they could have sent us to another OPEN uhal 2hours later standing in a closed uhal lot drove truck back home only to deliver truck Monday to an open uhal who could take care of us. Our son told us never to use uhal as he always had a problem in past guaranteeing a truck on day of pick up. Uhal get your act together!!!!!
