We booked this space but the access and key was not available at the time we booked. The person at the space was rude and unhelpful. Our move was delayed because we could not get the vehicle in time. Will not rent here again.

I was overcharged by 50 dollars for no reason at all, it never showed up on a reciept, and in addition the location WRONGLY tried to claim i left the tank under 25 % which i proved wrong with pictures and attempted to get a refund and all i was "refunded" was the extra 50 uhaul stole from us.

I wish I would have known because I would have figured something else out. Next time, I recommend leaving a voicemail and a text message or email to ensure the customer gets notified of this.

"1127 Fuel Corp" STILL shows up as a location on your website (10 Porter Ave, Bushwick, NY 11237). I reserved a truck there this month and the location IS CLOSED! Second of all, it's a pretty bad customer experience to show up at a place with a human attendant (Greenpoint Storage Plus) but all transactions need to be done on the app. The app crashed on me twice while I was trying to check-in for my rental. The van was clean but only had 1/4 tank of gas which was a little inconvenient.
Scott SI've been sitting and wait at my uhaul for 3 hours and my booking was supposed to be ready by 9am. I never got a call telling me it was delayed and have had to sit here baking in the sun. The one employee on staff left to pick up a replacement vehicle for me an hour ago and hasn't returned. Meanwhile there seem to be several trucks here that I'm not sure why I can't use. There's like 3 trucks sitting unused… I feel like one of them could be given to me. I would really appreciate some kind of refund or extension or credit. As it is I won't get to my final destination til midnight.
Thomas MI've had two storage spaces in this facility for over 3 years and I can't find any down side to it. The facility is always clean and well maintained and the personnel has always been helpful to me and my team. We've moved to another facility a little bit better located strategically speaking for our operations, otherwise, we would have stayed in there for way longer.

Miguel SI mainly chose Storage Plus for the hours. I'm not sure who is able to access their unit during normal business hours when you would be conducting your business (your job). I appreciate that Storage Plus had hours that allowed me to visit before or after work and not instead of. Facilty was clean; staff was helpful; price was higher than others I'd looked at, but not obscenely so.

Lots of hidden fees that you don't know about before you get the final receipt. I even called and asked if there will be additional fees and was told no. Still paid a $25 cleaning fee for example for the truck when the truck was definitely NOT cleaned in a while before I got it. Not that there were any major cleaning issues but we are still living with covid and the driver cabin was neither vacuumed nor the steering wheels was wiped down. Would expect a cleaner truck if I pay a cleaning fee.

Even though there was a real human being at the desk, I had to fumble through an app, remember passwords, change privacy and location settings on my phone, and still I wasn't able to access my keys and check in without assistance. Same thing happened for checking the van back in. The link to upload pictures expired and I couldn't access my account. I know it seems better to make everything work through an app, but for the love of god, when there's a person there, just do it that way. It caused so much unnecessary stress and a delay on top of an already stressful move. I will never be using U-Haul for a move again. This was a really horrible experience.
Heather CAlthough the prices did go up from the year that I first rented my storage units until I moved out, I would definitely recommend Greenpoint Storage Plus. The staff were always extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. I'll actually miss them.

DANTE M2 hours job took 9 hours because the truck stopped and didn't work again in the middle of street, I called road assistance waited 60 minutes to answer and 3 hours to send two truck . I did not move my stuff . I have to use another vehicle. Very bad experience.

They informed me they are "just a pickup site" and I had to check in with the app that didn't work right (kept telling me it couldn't find my location) and I ended up spending 48 minutes there before I could drive away.
Charles GMy first location did not have a truck for me even though I had a reservation. The other location took a long time to set up my truck and the return process was unnecessarily complicated. Poor experience all around.

I would use Storage Plus again and again if I had the need to store things. Whenever we needed help, like when we lost the key to our lock, or when there were things that were too heavy for us to manipulate into the unit, or when the whole street lost electricity and the staff helped put of things into the our unit. Yes, please choose Storage Plus at Greenpoint, they are great!

jose pi waited for over an hour on hold because the reservation information failed to explain that i needed to get a code to unlock the keys to the u-haul i was picking up. only after having a disastrous evening, sitting on the curb waiting on hold because u-haul apparently doesn’t invest in its customer service, did i finally speak to a very a very kind service representative who had no clue what was going on but doing their best to help me. i was given instructions that didn’t work and then only when the service rep call back to check on me was i able to access the van. this was TWO HOURS after my reservation when i scheduled to pick up my u-haul. i was late for the items i reserved the u-haul to pick up, causing me immense stress and ultimately costing me money. i am extremely disappointed by u-haul’s app and protocol.

Went into the Storage Plus and there was no one at the front desk for 10+ minutes. The pickup for the UHaul keys is in a lockbox around the corner. Looked like there was only one Uhaul parked on the street so if someone doesn't return in time before your pickup, you'd be out of luck. Would not use this location again.

Staff is always friendly and helpful, you don't have to give 30 day notice of move out and they don't hike up your rent every six months. The building is always clean, well lit and they have a huge docking area to pull in a car or truck. Multiple vehicles can be loading and unloading at the same time which is hard to find in NY. I would definitely recommend using this storage facility

However, they are not employees of U-Haul and the online Uhaul process completely failed while picking up AND dropping off the vehicle. THe Uhaul system was down and it wouldn't let me return the car because it couldn't confirm my location on my phone. I wasted over half an hour trying to complete the return transaction. VERY FRUSTRATING.
Mary AThe sales assistant may be underpaid as they were not very excited to be helping me or informed about certain questions I had. The vehicle had no backup camera and was difficult to back up. The vehicle had a windshield crack from previous use which did not make me feel very safe driving it. The vehicle had no ramp pull out from the cargo which I assumed would be there on a 10' cargo van.
Mateusz TAside from location and the truck, I had an overall terrible experience with Uhaul. When I went to pick up the truck, the service member at Storage Plus had a hard time accessing Uhaul's terribly inconvenient website. For some reason, the was a glitch in the site becasue I had ordered my Uhaul from my phone and it would not let the service member dispatch the truck to me. I waited for 45 minutes while we tried to figure out the problem. Uhaul's site also allows pick up and delivery to be from different locations but Storage Plus does not allow that which created additional issues. Because of this delay, I was 45 minutes late for my movers and had to pay an additional $60 for an extra hour of moving. I think Uhaul should reimburse me for this charge. Gabriela MI had a reservation for a U-Haul out of Long Island City New York the address is 12-14 38th ave long island city, ny 11101. In the morning I got a phone call telling me the truck was ready and I can come in early to pick it up I said great I'm on my way when I get there there was no one to be found for between 5 and 10 minutes and I said to the guy when he came back I said you told me to come in early and you have me waiting here for 15 minutes and he gave me an attitude back and I just let it roll off and I just said whatever dude just let me get my U-Haul. When I get into his office he has a television at volume 19 and the radio at volume 20. He gets on his computer and literally turns his back to me and starts reading important information that I need to hear and I have tinnitus so I can't determine low frequencies when high frequencies are feeling the room so at least four or five times I going what what did you say? What was that I can't hear you can you please turn around and he turns around to me and says I don't like your effing attitude get out of here I don't want to give you my Uhaul. After exchanging a few Choice words with each other I had to scramble to find another U-Haul in Brooklyn that have a truck ready for me at the moment. I have used Uhaul every single time I've moved I've used U-Haul on other occasions where I needed Vans I've even participated in your picture con contest where you were taking Uhaul pictures and putting them on the side of trucks couple of my images are there actually I have been a loyal Uhaul user and I'm telling you right now I will never use Uhaul again as long as this man has the right to rent U-Hauls. There are plenty of other places to go and this is the service that I received from this man I will never use Uhaul as long as he has a U-Haul license. I will be posting my confrontation with this man who represents Uhaul all over my social media. He is a disgrace to your company and I will not participate or patronize Your Service as long as he is partnered with you.
