The drop off point in Wainwright was ok ....the lady wasn't willing to wait too long past 8:00 pm to help us drop off patiently we dropped off without really knowing what would happen next she just took the keys and said paperwork would be done in the morning...I feel with a job like this you have to be patient with someone who is moving ...yes we could have dropped off the next day but we had people helping us we had to drive back 2 hrs away so wanted to return asap .. The place was clean yes but she wasn't overly "inviting" like you asked...I would recommend for the Uhaul service but the customer skills were meh...
James MPlease make sure that your customer has a dolly at all times Customer rely on having what customer need in order to move We were fortunate that we are seniors Because the management provides this I feel for the younger generation

Victoria AI had to drive over 400 miles to pick up my 26 foot U-Haul and my trailer at two different locations the day I was moving out of my house and moving 1400 km across Canada, an extremely stressful start to a very busy stressful day. U-Haul completely failed me as a customer, I will never use U-Haul again, they have hardly any trucks or trailers and they are spread all over the province and they don't even know where they are, they tell you that you might have to go and pick up your trailer just outside of town when I actually had a 400 mile round-trip before I even started my day and then my 1400 km drive across Canada, pretty much useless, I would've been as well hiring movers, I will never suggest that anybody uses U-Haul , The logistics of this company are absolutely useless, the way they operate and run their business is pathetic, They run this business as if they have 1 million trucks in trailers, when an actual fact, they probably don't even have five of each in the province, leaving you completely stranded with a text message at five minutes to closing time the day before telling you that you have to pick up your U-Haul at the other side of the province, Totally dissatisfied with the company itself. The pick up and drop off locations were perfect, if they had been anywhere near my house, they would've been awesome, but they were not the pick up and drop off locations done. Absolutely nothing wrong and we're 100 % helpful, useful, etc., it was the actual company U-Haul that failed me

Donna AIt was my first experience using u-haul. It's not cheap( for me). But I understand the price. What I can say: easy, fast, convenient. Very good U-Haul App, easy to understand all things even if English is your second language. Great service and attitude.

Trevor BI would definitely pick up and drop off from this location again and recommend others to as well. It was clean, it was inviting, and the lady running the front desk was kind, polite, helpful and resourceful. Definitely a 5-Star location.

Trevor BThe cab was covered in dog hair to which I'm very allergic. By the time I got my destination my eyes burned, I was stuffed up and slight sore throat. I went in and told the lady and all she said was oh I guess it should have been swept out. That was it. Very disappointed.

What made this particular rental exceptional was Jessica, the agent who rented the trailer to us. She was friendly, courteous and very helpful as well as having good local knowledge. James CThe Grime Figters/UHaul return location in Wainwright was wonderful! Unlike the 50th Street Edmonton location, it was clean and inviting. The woman working there was cheerful, kind, friendly and professional. She made notes in the system about the necessary maintenance needed on our truck, as it was a big safety concern. Lisa KCustomer service was A+ and helped when an issue on booking a certain size came about and immediately solved it with zero pressure put on myself (The customer) Both in store and call from Uhaul could not have been better. The Uhaul vehicle itself was extremely clean and had no issues.
Trevor PRental drop off location was great but U-Haul itself I would not recommend to anyone I know. If this review was for UHaul the rating would be extremely poor. Lack of communication and not letting your customers that the equipment they are renting might not be available at the location they chose is extremely poor customer service.

KENT SUHaul system was down and it took an hour to check-in and about one half hour to check-out. Was not able to get a close out receipt. I feel bad for the location staff as the problems with the system were a nightmare. I paid full price by the way. Also central dispatch said the truck size that I wanted was not available but the location had two.

gary cForecast pickup location earlier. I picked up In Wainwright but did not know until 48 hrs before. The other possible locations were about 1 hour away not great when the booking was months before. Overall I was happy with the service.

James SHello there, I rented a U-Haul in -40 degrees in Alberta, Edmonton. Firstly, the pickup location was switched last minute due to unavailable equipment. So I had to waste 2 hours of my and a friends time to go to a different city to pick up the uhaul. Therafter, the tires of the vehicle were in terrible shape for this weather. When I was backing up the uhaul into the driveway, the uhaul got stuck and the tires just kept spinning. After we loaded the uhaul we thought it would have better grip due to the weight of the items, however, it got stuck again. We had to stand out in the freezing cold and try to get the U-Haul out which was very stressful and the vehicle was in horrible shape for the weather here in Alberta during December. It would be nice if U-Haul was considerate for their customers because next time, I would rather book movers than go to U-Haul. Thank you!
NILESH PThe attendant understood our plight and was amazed we drove so far out of our way for the vehicle with the road conditions. Placed a not on our file that we even took a picture that the truck was snowed in.

Tracy WThis location was at a car wash. Went into the shop to drop it off, they processed the paperwork and just told me to drop it off, didn't say where they wanted it or offer any assistance. Ended up dropping it in the drive in front of other units as there was no direction where else it should go.
ROGER SReimburse the dealer to clean the exterior of the vehicle. A shiny U-haul sign goes a long way in business pride.

Mike BSo glad I got the extra insurance as I lost the key for the unit. Very compassionate and helpful staff at this location as well as Carley from the roadside assistance saved my sanity. The booking people in Edmonton were another story ...not so helpful and ill informed but the people in Wainwright sorted it out.
