The lady that worked at this location was rude. She did not come out and tell me where to park the trailer and there were no spots available, so I dropped the trailer where I could and then she wanted me to move it again and charged me 20 $. She should've come out of her office and let me know where to drop the trailer and there wouldn't have been an issue.Asher F.

I asked for a refund because I didn't get what I paid for. I do all my business with uhaul including storage. The reason for the truck rental was to remove my essential items from my storage at the uhaul on Pepperchase in Southaven Ms. After renting the truck I found out that the elevator was out of service at uhaul. I couldn't do anything. My money was taken for the truck rental though. ðŸ¤"Dwana T.

The lady at working in the office when I picked up and dropped off was very nice. My original experience trying to make a reservation prior to finally finding this U-haul location was not smooth however. I called the 1-800-Uhaul number and the person set me up with a reservation for a truck that did not exist at the location she booked it. This happened twice. I believe what is in the U-haul corp. system may not accurately reflect what inventory is available at the local businesses.Abigail I.

I'm confused as to why I could not complete the return early and get a receipt. I picked up the truck on Wednesday in Texas, drove it to MS on Thursday and tried to turn it in after unloading it before closing time, same day. Policy changes I suppose, but in the past it has been no problem. I did not want the truck in my driveway an extra day. Then I find out it is due on Saturday, and that would have been very annoying. Not sure how I will manage my next rental.Steve R.

The truck was not available when I went to pick it up. It had to be moved from another location. I wasn't provided a receipt when I dropped off the truck because the girl claimed she couldn't log into the system. I was charged for an entire extra day when I was 1 hour late for drop off. When I called to dispute the charges I was put on hold and never got to speak to themJesse M.

I had a break down on my way home from a vacation with my wife. It was a Saturday afternoon and most of the U-haul locations nearest to us were closed. I had a way to tow the car, but nothing to tow it on. I found a location that was still open in Hernando, MS. Shawna Hugonnett had what I needed, the only problem was that I was 30 miles away from that location. By the time I would be able to get there it would be closing time. She agreed to stay for me to be able to pick up my rental. When I got there ten minutes after closing time she helped me understand everything in the rental agreement and just made me relaxed for the first time since the break down. It was a wonderful experience for the situation.James H.

Unfortunately the auto transport was not properly secured to my truck's trailer hitch by the Uhaul representative. When I attempted to load my vehicle on the transport the front portion of the the transport rapidly separated from the hitch and it managed to damage my trucks tailgate and backup camera. Recommend thoroughly checking things over after they tell you â€œyou're ready to go.â€Michael Z.

There was no issues with the Uhaul service itself, expect the fact it was 60 miles away from where I anticipated being able to pick up a truck and where I made my initial reservation. Uhaul made me drive over an hour to pick up my truck and auto transport before me move. Makes it seem like making a reservation serves no purpose because you won't know until the day before if you have you equipment to be able to move with. No adjustment on fees or charges are made either so it ends up costing a minimum of 30 $more in gas alone plus the inconvenience. Will definitely consider using a different truck service next move.Caty R.

The agent from the Hernando,MS office called me the day after my pickup from Griffin, GA to advise me that the truck was rented for pickup right at my contracted drop off time of 9:00 am in Hernando. They then asked again when I planned to bring the truck back for drop off. I advised that I would do my best to be there by 9:00; however, the Atlanta weather was poor and we were trying load and make our way to Hernando. Saturday morning, on the day of drop off, I received three calls inquiring about the status of the truck. I did not take the calls as we were unloading the truck. I delivered the truck by 8:50 am in Hernando and made no mention of the phone calls. I found it very annoying and frustrating that I was being continually contacted. I had not violated the agreement and had not intended to. In the future, I will closely regard the individual U-Haul outlets and potentially consider other contractors.Richard B.
Very easy rental process. We needed the truck quick, because we're a furniture store and our own truck had to be put in the shop for a couple days. I needed a truck to finish deliveries for the day, and I needed it quick. It was a very easy and pleasant rental experience. We were able to get a good truck on an hour's notice and went on with our business. Thanks very much to Hamilton Storage in Hernando, Mississippi. We'll do business there again.John M.

I reserved a 15' truck days ahead of time. When I show up to pick it up, the attendant said â€œThere's a problem. I can't get the back open. So if you can open it you can take it, but otherwise I can't rent it out.â€ We went to look at the roll up door, and I saw that the GACs on each side had become detached from the previous use, so the door couldn't be pulled up. But she insisted that she'd never seen those kinds of cables before and didn't know what was wrong. Without ever renting a Uhaul before, I figured out immediately the issue and was surprised she did not. So she offered to find another 15' truck in the area, which was nice of her to do, but I went with the 10' instead since it was there and I was ready to start movinf. What could be improved is better notice when there's a problem like that, especially because my moving plans could have been jeopardized if there wasn't another truck available. Also, the attendants renting out the trucks need better education on basic mechanisms of the trucks so that they can troubleshoot or offer solutions.Jasmine H.
