Location was difficult to find since I was from out of town. Wait time was a little excessive.

Janiya MIt was difficult to find the location's office even after circling the building three times. U-Haul is only part of the business that seems like it's multipurpose including cell phones and odds and ends. It makes sense given its location. We did see the U-Haul trucks parked in the back, which helped us to know we were in the right vicinity. Better branding on the storefront would help.
Kathryn HPoor customer service. Made us wait awhile while the guy was on the phone. He didn't tell us anything about how long we can have the truck for or anything. Charge us twice for no reason. Would not recommend.

I returned the Truck with double the gas amount and lesser mileage that he mentioned in my account while giving the key. Even then he charged more. I should have got refund for extra gas and lesser mileage, but he charged more

Jodi WI paid $100 deposit and I did not receive my refund back for the remaining of the truck. The back of the truck had a loose metal patch on the floor of the truck, so when you load the truck, you have to watch your step or you will fall through the bottom of the truck. Because of the issues with the back of the truck, I believe it should have been cheaper due to the safety hazards
Jernise RThe location was hard to find, the UHaul had cigarette ash all inside the vehicle and smelled like cigarette and marijuana smoke. The back had not been swept out.
Kayla SThe uhaul truck was a piece of junk. Terrible shifting of transmission. Also, I have not received my receipt, how do I know they are not over-charging me?
steven hThere was a folded sign in front of a different business' storefront that said Uhaul. Drove by it once never seeing the small sign. Had to park the vehichle at a parking lot behind the storefront to other business'. Confusing and not in the best part of town, thankful I dropped it off with daylight.

Robert WUhaul customers should be aware that this location is a pawn shop. The store is located in one of St. Louis' more neglected areas, and it is inside a building with street parking; the shop does not have a parking lot of its own. IMO, persons who plan to return their truck after hours or who are concerned with personal safety would do well to choose another location. I will say that the personnel were helpful, but pawnshop and truck rental/return are not an appropriate combo.

tabria pThe place was not in the best neighborhoods. The trucks were behing the building and no one went with you to look at the truck. The truck cab was not clean. It took them over 4 days with repeated calls for them to check the truck back in after I returned it.

David MThis location is in a blighted community of St. Louis most people would be afraid to go there, the agent or store owner was great friendly and other than the slight language barrier he was great. I would go there again , He and his staff were helpful and prompt, but like I said a lot of people would not go there because of the community in which it is in but there was nothing else open and he was available.
Tyrone Li returned my truck 4 hours after it was rented, and i got a phone call from u-haul the next day because the lazy worthless workers at the gas station place hadn't bothered to check the truck back in.

Rod PQuite literally the worst experience possible. Area has limited reception making the lengthy and pointless app pickup process more difficult than it already is, then you are told to go pickup the key from a mystery location inside the building (very far away from the rental trucks in an area not safe to walk around in) where there is zero signage and if you are late because you can't find them, they will be rude to you. We were told "there was a sign but we took it down because it was windy" as if that made driving around looking for this "office" for 30 minutes unsuccessfully our fault.
Alexander PLocation was hard to find and they did not answer multiple phone calls. Once I finally found them, they took my info and said "The trailer is out back". I asked if they would asisst and they said no. I eventually found what I could only assume was my trailer in a busy parking lot that was partially blocked by vehicles from another business. I was given no instructions on how to connect the trailer or safety instructions. Very poor service. If this location is the only one available in the future, I will rent from another company.

toliver tThis was not a Uhaul store, but a Uhaul partner. This was a variety store: food and beverage items, clothes, plus a ton of technology devices for sale. Plus, they repaired cell phones. It the clerk a while to service me because he was dealing with cell phone stuff. When he finally did take care of me, he took my information, gave me the keys, and sent me on my way. I'm glad I knew about tow dollies and how to hook them up and put the car on. Otherwise, this could have turned into a major unsafe deadly situation.
Brian FVery poor experience. No signage for uhaul office. Representative could not speak English. No paperwork or card from rep. Worst uhaul experience. Felt uncomfortable dealing with rep. Had to call uhaul after drop off to communicate drop off details. This location does not represent uhaul that I used to know. No uniform or any professional handling of the situation.
Eric TI ordered the U-Haul without any insurance. When I received the receipt, the safe move coverage was included. I called the manager, he said that he will return the safe move coverage and will send me a confirmation email. I haven't received any email or money back.

Marietta JThe blinker didn't work, the gear shift was nearly broken, the truck wouldn't start twice, there was furniture left inside from the previous renter, I had to insist that I be given a print out for the rental. There gas reading was slightly inaccurate. Would not recommend to anyone ever. Just awful.
SHERYCE UReservations was made online for 9:00am they did not open until 9:20am. Truck was not clean. Refused to do a walk around and inspection with customer. Stated that equipment was in the truck and it wasn't. Tried to apply a fee for dolly that wasn't in truck. Not a professional representation of U-Haul. I called the customer service for help; they were very cooperative and friendly attempted to make alternative sight then location opened. No adjustment for loss of time to bill as suggested with a $50 advertisement. Really dissatisfied with this location.

Takaila HThere was no signage about where to go. We found the address and could see Uhaul trucks parked in a parking lot at the back of the building, but there were absolutely no signs directing you were to go. I called the number provided for directions, and the person who answered was also unable to give me clear directions about where to go. I had to ask a person on the street where to enter the building and where to go in the building to pick up the keys. The location ended up being at a counter in a convenience store, and without signs or any direction, there was absolutely no way anyone would have ever found this location. Once inside, the gentleman working was able to confirm my reservation but was unable to provide me any further information to answer my questions. I had never rented a Uhaul before so I had questions about gas mileage, passing through toll booths in the truck, and adding additional drivers. The answers he gave me were nonsensical, and I left without any of my questions answered. He handed me the key and told me to match the number of the key to that on the back of the truck and that's how I would know which truck I had reserved. He didn't offer to come outside and explain the mechanics or logistics of the truck at all. One part of the experience that was most disappointing was not being notified that you had to provide your own lock to secure the door. Again, this was my first time renting a Uhaul, and I never saw that mentioned in any of the reservation paperwork. The gentleman who gave me the keys also made no mention of it. I would have at least expected this to be mentioned in the paperwork or for the workers to notify/remind you of this when picking up your truck. I was left scrambling to buy a lock and finding someone to watch the truck and my belongings until the door could be secured. Overall, I was very disappointed in my first Uhaul pickup experience. I left with unanswered questions and did not feel confident in what I was doing.
Joan MOnline I declined insurance however they added it onto my paperwork. I did not sign anything and just found out through my email what was charged. Very unhappy about my charges.

Kaitlyn BThree days before my move I was told the uhaul that is literally 2 minutes from me is changing me to N kingshighway location. Very unorganized. The truck I was about to pick up was picked up by uhaul for manual repairs. Had to get a new truck. It was another inconvenience that I was told I couldn't drop the truck off at a closer location next to my destination. Then when I dropped off the truck I get a call saying records show that the truck wasn't dropped off. Very messy. NEVER AGAIN.
