After my reservation was made for a van and trailer pick up in a city over 10hours away, this location was able to provide a smaller van and track down a trailer for my 1800km journey. The location was busy with its primary business of a car wash, making it busy. The guy at the car wash was quiet, appeared a big gruff but helpful in this stressful time. Going over safety features of the van would have been helpful. He stated that the van was inspected and should be ok for everything.

It is very expensive to move cities. I ended up spending over 600 to move 2 hours away.

craig D.The problem is that the reservation I made 4 weeks in advance was not honoured. The phone system to speak to a customer service rep is appalling. I never did get through nor did I get a call back attempting to use the online chat. My entire move was delayed for days because my reservation wasn't honoured nor was there another truck available. Plus the day before I was to pick up the truck at my desired location I was told to pick it up at a location 2,5 hours away. The amount of money I spent on fuel because of this was more than I paid for the truck rental! I want a refund and I will never use uhual again and I will warn others to avoid the headache and added hardship and expense uhual puts on its customers. Zero starts do NOT recommend.

When I tried to call the help line it said that the wait time to talk to an agent was one hour. Luckily we had some flexibility in our schedule and we're able to pick up the truck the next morning but if we had been relying on being able to get the truck Friday night we would have been in trouble.

The other location mentioned he had to accept it and sent me back. Arrived back at original location 2 minutes after close, no one to be found. Would have taken some help to park the trailer. The whole situation made it a very long and frustrating return. Easy return with the app tho.

The next truck we got we dropped off then input into the app. Then we got an email from you asking where the truck was. Piss poor communication between uhaul and car wash. Also uhaul ripped us off for 225 for the gas fillup of the truck we didnt get to use because it was unsafe. We want our money back, rip offs.
Donald P.As a business owner myself I feel the the Rental process went really well but I can't help but feel I was charged way to much for the one way rental of a 4' x8' trailer. U haul charged me a total of $1200 to rent this trailer. In my opinion this is way to much. I should have only been charged half this much and I would have been happy to pay that. I payed the bill as I had no other option at the time but I will never us this company's services again !!!

Lloyd L.I reserved the uhaul 7 days in advance for my Mom for 7am today then was told the night before that it would not be ready until 830 when I brought up the reservation guarantee which says it covers failure to meet time, equipment size and place the man got very defensive and said you have to take that up with head office we only honor that when we fail to meet the the rental at all. My husband is a small business owner and had to open late because of uhaul being incapable of honoring our reservation. I have taken screenshots of the reservation guarantee and emails about the reservation and revised reservation and will be contacting the better business bureau.

Carol R.I like being able to drop off the vehicle or rental equipment whenever. The only issue was, I had left a interior light in, after I put my key in the lock box and locked up the truck. Now I had no way of reaching out to anyone to get ahold of someone to get a key to get into the truck. So that was my only downside to the experience. Also, I was in aware I needed my phone to do a “pre trip†of the rental truck before hand, and when I had got my phone (because I left it else where) my session was expired and I was unable to complete the process

He in fact did have it. He then tosses me the keys and tells me to back the truck out from behind the building and go hook up the trailer myself and he'll take a picture once it's done. Very poor customer service I must say.

PHILLIP L.I reserved this u-haul online when I got a call from u-haul shortly after I was told that they could not guarantee they would have one even though sight said they would.They told me I would have to change dates or wait till 06/28/2021.I asked about getting one in Vancouver but was told there would be a 600 drop fee which I feel is far to high.This made itthat I had to scramble to make other arrangements in case I couldn't get one.I thought booking online ahead of time would make it less stressful but this made it the opposite . This ended up being the only trailer available and it just came in. If they are so high demand why such high drop charges to me that is a rip off and price gauging .
