When I finally caught up with Hank he was a very nice guy. Very helpful and I wish him the best.

patricia aFirst of all, the person who made my reservation didn't make it clear that this was a self check in at this location. I was a little apprehensive at first but it turned out just fine. It was a busy weekend for U-Haul I understand. The vehicle ( 10 ft box truck) drove and ran fine. That being said, the interior was filthy !! , dog hair everywhere and dog slobber on every inch of the windows and the dash was very dusty and dirty with garbage in the cabin. If we hadn't needed the truck that day we wouldn't have rented it. I've rented from U-Haul many times before and never experienced such a dirty vehicle. Have a nice day.

David SI did not request a dolly because I had one. Your smaller dolly was limiting amount of supplies that we could get on truck so we removed it. Only to find out at billing time that you charged me for a dolly I didn't need because We broke the tie. I should have been made aware of this prior to renting? Its unacceptable to charge me for what I rejected at initial ordering process but keep on truck and limit the space that I needed and requested. Please refund my 40 for dolly cost.

Sarai AMy experience with uhaul was a complete disappointment. Made my reservation 16 days in advance. Reservation was changed twice by uhaul, second time was 2 days before my move. Second change required pickup 17 miles from my apartment, instead of 1 mile, adding 34 miles at 0,99 cents to my bill. The people at the location were nice, but problems with truck. Passenger door latch was broken and couldn't use door. Everyone needed to get in and out on drivers side. Drivers mirror was loose and had constantly been adjusted.

James DGuy never seen online check in and was confused. Truck was on e. 5 miles to e. Alignment was extremely off on truck. Online truck said return to different location. Called and lady confirmed that's where I was to go. Got there and tried to check truck in and said to go to where I picked up. Called again and was told to go there. Wanted time and miles trying to figure this stuff out. Not thrilled with the condition of the truck, the misleading information (have a screen shot on my phone) or the over all experience with uhaul on this rental.

Ross BI ordered 2 dolly's was charged for it but the dolly's was not there. It made the move more difficult. Then when I called U-haul for a refund for the dolly's I was given a hard time. I had no problem with Hanks auto my problem is with u-haul.
Andre MEnsure that the service location is actually open when trucks are booked. This location wa not open or available until 11am cst. However, I reserved my truck for pick up at 8am cst. This caused a glitch in my plans. Not to mention, the order "Hank" had a horrible attitude.

Gilbert VWe made an online reservation. U-Haul changed our pickup location from one of its offices to a used car lot, which was fine. We had planned to do online dispatch, but the man at the car lot asked us to come inside his small office with a lot of people, which we were trying to avoid. He said people kept asking him about our truck in his lot and he almost rented it out to somebody else. He ended up charging us an extra $14 even though we had paid in advance online. Also, the utility dolly was rusty and had a jagged piece of metal poking out.
Ian SApproximately at 1:45 Monday 7/13/20 Filled Up fuel tank, returned the U-Haul to Hanks Auto in Hammond, In. No One was there at the time so I parked it and dropped off the keys in drop box. Thanks

Arvell BI had a reservation for 8am, this location didn't open until 10am. No one told me that. Not an email, text or call. So I had movers at my house at 8am, just standing around waiting. Communication is key. I ended up needing to rent a van to move the rest of my stuff because I didn't have enough time with the truck.
Martell BI reserved a trailer in Park Forest. The day before it was scheduled to be picked up I was informed that it was not available. So, we had to scramble and find another one in the area. This was left up to me to work through, when I believe U-Haul should have been more proactive in finding the trailer for me. In reality, it should have been where it was reserved a month ahead of time.

LAMONICA CRun around for HOURS to get truck. drove from In to MN with the car not even attached properly could have lost vehicle at any time. Get here to MN and battery is dead and won't hold a charge new car new batteries
Pamila HWe a had a horrible time getting to the location. The location near us did not have the equipment. We were scheduled at the location, but was switched then switched again then someone called us and switched us again. We drove to the original location Hanks in Hammond, IN. There was a Uhaul representative there that stated he would find out what happened and clear up the confusion. He was very nice and helpful as was Hank.
gary rLocks are hard to get off and put back on but other than that a Smooth and easy rental experience.

Kris SThis was not my requested location or time. I requested a different dealer and an earlier time and was changed to this place and time an hour before my original requested time. When I logged into my account, it showed the original info so I called uhaul to find out and i was informed that the rental time and location was changed for some reason. I also requested a furniture dolly and 2 mattress bags. None of which were supplied or on hand. This location closed an hour before the time I originally requested to drop the truck off at and i was someone how charged for 2 days rental. I don't blame the dealer for this mess up. I think this shortcoming falls on Uhaul. I will not be using Uhaul trucks in the future.
