I was thankful to find an affordable truck at the end of the month.

terry U.I picked the truck in the late evening. The next morning, I had to sweep the cargo area, I found a printer in the cab, and loose candy on the floor.
Bryan A.The U-Haul was clean but it had transmission issues and got a mile down the road and had to call roadside assistance. It took almost 6 hours to get someone to verify and then get new equipment. Thank goodness I didn't load anything before issue happened. With second truck I fully loaded and drove for almost 2 hours then it broke down on the side of I30. Engine was good but would not move. Repair guy was great but couldn't fix. Took hours from breakdown to tow truck. I was pulling my vehicle so drove to new truck. When tow truck came and moving guys were waiting. Why do they try to talk you into unloading and loading your own truck. Really I was one person. Anyway it was smoking from back right tire because tow truck driver was told transmission not axle so tired popped which sounded like bomb. Caught on fire they tired to put out. Granted all in front of U-Haul store, mover's, and tow truck driver. These roadside assistance asked me to take pictures and upload. Are you kidding me I was like ask the people that work for you. I shouldn't have to risk getting burnt or the other tire exploding on me. Now still waiting for U-Haul to contact me to make it right. 11 to 12 hours nightmare that I will not get back. Fyi I had just filled that truck up.

Kenneth M.It wasn't the pick up location but rather with Uhaul. I was sent the information where to pick up and it was changed without my knowing because they sent the info to wrong phone number. After waiting on hold for over 15 minutes before I got a person to talk to and was told my location was changed making me having to travel further away and making me late to meet my movers. Then when I went to drop off location I was being charged an additional $798!!! And was told my drop off location was changed! Someone needs to look into these matters and fix them.
Sharon B.If this wasn't my first time dealing with uhaul I don't think it would have been so bad but this was so confusing and website for self check out glitches so hard. It sucks but im sure the in-person pick ups are easier.

James C.Again, was forced to use this location by uhaul because they needed me to drop off here. There were a few places much closer. But, I had no choice. We tried to drop off after hours on April 30. The location was closed and there was no place to park the truck and no special instructions on how to leave the truck. We could tell it was a uhaul rental place with the uhaul signs So, we had to go the next morning at 9am like reservation said. The actual location doesn't open till 12. As we were trying to figure out what to do, someone drive up and tells us it can be dropped off down the road. OK, interesting. We get down the road to find an actual uhaul spot to park the truck and a key drop box. This was extra annoying because I broke my foot during our move and driving was unbearable. To go through all this just topped it off. If there was a sign at the real uhaul address telling us what to do or instructions of some sort, it wpuld have changed the whole experience.

Gerald M.No one told me ahead of time that after hours drop off would be a different location or that I would need to park my car at a different location. The gates were locked and I could not get my car until the next day.

The next day I get a text message saying that I haven't returned the trailer, and I need to make a phone call about it. I call and I'm put on hold for a long wait. It resolved, but with unnecessary hassle. I was not happy
David R.I'm highly disappointed in uhaul not the location as this is not their fault, we reserved a van and shortly after got a call that the van we reserved had been given to another customer, then I asked for a pickup instead then and again none were available, I was then offered a 15ft at "the same price" but it was not the milage was more as was the gas don't honestly see myself using uhaul again severly disappointed please don't list something as available when it is not
Eric H.The truck was not at the location specified (Happy Feed Farms) and was located about 100-200 yards away on a different parking lot. The business is blocked by gates, so there is no access to the lot outside of business hours.

I had to wait about 45 minutes before I could get through to uhaul customer service and for some one to show up to point us in the right direction. Bad service on uhaul and drop off location.

Jonathan O.Honestly, this has been one of the hardest and worst experiences I've had in some time. Moving across country is already hard, but it seems that choosing uhaul made it worse. I really should have gone with pods. Literally would have been a couple hundreds dollars more, and that's with gas driving there yourself. I made a reservation for this trip 2 weeks in advance, they gave me a location that would have my equipment that I've requested. 2 days before said trip I receive a call from them saying the location moved. I go to the different location only to find that they are closed on sundays. I have to call uhaul and get another place. That poor place. It's literally a feed store bro. It took forever and really messes up their business with their feed store because they have to try to figure out your reservations and stuff THEN it turned out to be more than I was quoted. I was so over it by this point that I just go with it and drive off. I cried I was so frustrated. However, the people that I returned the uhaul to were so friendly and nice. And it was quick to drop it off. I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just being honest. I'll never move like this again.
Caressa L.This was the 2nd time we went to this Hugh hall we did not like it the 1st time we did not like it the 2nd time we just thought oops it was a mistake they didn't have the right truck but for a one hour we got charged a $120 for 30 miles this was outrageous crazy this was outrageous crazy I will never recommend this spot to anyone I feel that u-haul has took advantage of us and the sucks

LOWELL H.We had drove to drop of our rental on Monday but they are not open on Monday's. If there could be after hours drop location that would have been a life saver. We unfortunately had to return the next day to drop off the trailer.
Sheila H.It could have been my fault but I thought drop offs were anytime and I showed up as the guy was opening the gate in the morning. I followed him in since he left the gate unlocked and he was very grumpy that I did so. Told me to keep the U-Haul parked where I stopped to ask him where he would like me to go and walked away. I took extra photos since he was not willing to let me go park the truck elsewhere not blocking the gate but he was really grumpy and uninviting. If you choose this place to drop off its next to a few gas stations which is nice but double check the drop off times because there is a gate to get in. Nice big parking lot though with plenty of space.

Ava R.This was not the location I selected when I reserved and payed for the truck online. I selected Techtronix in Alvarado but when we dropped it off it turned out the location was no longer valid. Overall I'm disappointed with U haul. We payed about $980 for this truck to have to have problems picking it up and dropping it off. When I pay that much I expect better service. Not impressed at all.
