Actual U-Haul customer service is a joke. Will never use them again

I have rented from this location in the past and have had no issues. This time was the worse experience i have had. Costumer service was below par from the last experiences I have had at this location. At this point I don't know if I'd use this location again.

When picking up and dropping off the location on both times proceed to keep us waiting for 20 min if not more while hey keep on helping customers that constantly kept coming into the store both times we had to . I understand if they wanted to serve a couple customers that were in the line behind us but not every person that kept coming into the store as a customer we didn't matter. We almost canceled due to them both times we had to demand them to help us cause they wouldn't stop serving customers that came into the store after us best part there was two people working at the store . So as U-Haul customers we will never use that location or recommend that location.

It is better if you charge in kilometres rather than miles. And fuelling instructions should be clear. I filled extra fuel in the van before returning it. Because it takes more than actually uses. There was not return of the money.

This service was awesome and the rental place was quick and very helpful. The price and convenience of the rental were great. Only complaint I have was that the rental place told me a price and showed me the bill over his phone but when the bill showed up on my visa it was $30 higher. Not sure why and would like an explanation. Merci.

They put a fucking AirTag in the light, if you want to be questioning who is watching you and all that fucking shit come here but I doubt it

The staff there are very friendly. This is the second time I have used them. I highly recommend this place.

The truck was disgusting to say the least. Back of truck had a crackhead cooking in the back and there was fire starters and needles there as well as urine on the floor.. When approached owner of store he gave me a broom to sweep it out myself.

The rep was pleasant, and as helpful as he could be given that he was on his own and had to serve other customers in between trying to book my rental. This is ok except for when you have a couple of people bringing in a bunch of lottery tickets to check and get new ones. Overall fine though.

Garbage was left under seats and back was not swept from previous renter

Mostly clean but moving mats were still laid out on the floor of the truck from previous users. A couple of other people's items were under the front seats.

The service was fast and friendly, also the vehicle was clean and performed as described. The only downside to this location is the small lot having a lack of larger sized trucks. Great if you need a van or smaller box truck.

The new UHaul digital app software needs getting used to but over all not bad. Older people might need to take their tech savvy children along to help. We had a brand new cargo van. It is digital too.

Quick and easy pickup, followed with a quick and easy return. Staff recommended taking photos on my phone of fuel gauge/odometer and it was a great tip. Definitely the least stressful part of a stressful day of moving. Would happily recommend this location to family/friends.

I think they calculated our milage incorrectly. I should have taken a picture. He to tale a picture of gas Guage which I did. We put in 15$ of gas at 145,9 pwe litrcwhich brought it higher that the gas Guage before we left. We were charged for 40 miles, yes miles....it's canada we are km. We made 2 trips in town ...which were less than 10kms each. Bu my calculations were were over charged for milage. And he really did not care. He should have taken a picture of the milage also when we left. Never had this issue before with other Uhaul depot.

Unable to answer at this point. There is a dispute about the amount charged that doesn't reflect the contract. Once settled, will have a more accurate response. It is close to a gas station, which was helpful in filling up before returning.

Need more professional staff, vehicles should be mechanically ready to go out with customer. Battery testing before rental.

I have rented from this location several times in the past two years and have had excellent service and the vehicle and equipment have always been fairly clean and in good working condition.

Very very friendly, I was over my time with the truck and had an emergency, and the guy was very very nice about it would definatley recommend.

Didn't get the truck size we ordered. Had to make multiple trips. Had to have the truck back within 4 hours. Not impressed....

I got charged for Safe move even when I didn't opt for it. Called CS and got Ref# 4294378. It is being looked at. Hopefully, will get my money back but unnecessary wastage of time.

They had the truck we wanted with a last minute request Pick up and drop off went smoothly. Great experience. The review asks if the vehicle was clean and well maintained. As far as we could tell, it was well maintained, and the back of the truck was clean. But the dashboard and console of the cab were pretty dirty (dusty and sticky).

Online reservation was not recognized. Was told the whole reservation system does nor work. Showed up to get my truck and was told it was not available and that i should have booked in person. I was given a van only because the person who "reserved' it didn't show up. Terrible fuel mileage coupled with an extortionate rate of 0,89 per kilometre made this the worst rental experience of my life. I will never use U-Haul again and i will share my experience with anyone who asks

The clerk rushed me through the check in process, didn't give me any paperwork showing the gas level or current miles. He verbally asked me if I wanted accident coverage to which I said no, but he still charged me for it. When I asked about it he told me now there is nothing he can do it's in the system. Will not rent from here again

The staff were friendly and accommodating, they even amended my reservation to a different vehicle and for a different time frame when I had a late start and needed a bigger truck! The back of the truck might have used another quick sweep is all.

I just want to give a special shoutout to Brantford motorcycles etc at 643 Colborne St in Brantford. I didn't originally call the Happy Variety location, I called Brantford Motorcycles. The guy I spoke with (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was incredibly friendly and helpful. I also rented a U Haul from that lox about 10 years ago and they were great then.

Well it would have been helpful if the accumulation of snow had been removed from the vehicle prior to pick up. Otherwise everything went smoothly from booking to returning the vehicle. That's all

person at location was very helpful and courteous. the rate was awesome I had thought it would be $80 more than it was. I dont plan on moving again but if I do or anyone I know I will recommend this location .
