Because of cold weather they wouldn't go outside to make sure truck was ready all doors were frozen.When we returned truck they wouldn't go outside to learn of shape of truck and check mileage and gas levels.Was problem with order and they had to check with main office to fix it.We had to wait half hour or more making me late with my move

The vendor charged me $9 in gas when I traveled 16miles and shows him my receipt where I had filled the truck down the road before drop off with 10 liters of gas. The gas marking on the contract I thought matched the gauge, but the contract was higher that actual at pickup. The contract gauge scale was not the same as the tuck gauge, so I did not pick it up. The vendor had marked the gauge incorrectly prior to my pickup. I paid the bill and am not looking for a refund. I just want to let you know this vendor needs to be looked at

I was using the app to pick up, it took me almost 45 mins to check out because the app would not let me continue until they got hold of an alternate contact. This wasted so much of my moving time. I didn't know this was necessary at the time. Most people in Canada dont pick up from phone numbers they don't recognize due to frauds and scams. Ended up having to go in to check out. I won't be using the app anymore until they do away with this having to call a contact.

The bed of the truck was filthy. There was mid and dirt across the entire floor. I had to lay a large tarp on the floor, as I was moving furniture. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever encountered. The truck was also parked in wet mud. I had to step in wet mud to get into the truck.

Van gas gauge was not working properly and we overfilled the tank from the point we took it. When we ask the representative there. His answer was that i can charge you for the gas if it below than prior level but i can not do any thing if it is overfilled. So we asked if he can adjust in kms but his reply was straight NO and gave us Uhaul number to call. So if you guys can improve customer service at the counter it would be good

First of all it took so long to rent the truck, their terminal went down. Not the end of the world, got into the truck and not the cleanest ever. I and my wife didn't realize at the time but the right hand mirror was broken, I didn't realize this until we were committed with a full load and while driving down the road I wanted to turn right but couldn't as the mirror had turned itself into a position that was not usable. I noticed the red "tuck" tape that's used to seal vapor barrier on insulation was suppose to be holding the mirror on?? I missed my turn adding MORE kilometers than needed. At this point my wife had to hold the mirror by hand while en route. To add insult to injury as her hand is now sore from hanging on to the bloody mirror, we get back and they claim the tank isnt at the 3/4 level. Now as I've rented from you countless times I know how to use your liter of fuel guide to get to where you rented the vehicle. It called for 5.7 litres I believe so I put in 6.2 and drove away only to have the convenience store operator tell me it was under fueled and billed me an additional $10 for fuel. So if it's your policy to rent unsafe equipment and the for the sake of a barely visible difference on the fuel gauge charge your customer an additional charge of $10 for what may have been a difference of .5 litre of fuel is unacceptable and I want something done regarding this. If you dont I will never use your service again and as a repeat customer I would hope the multiple rentals would mean that taking care of a repeat customer matters. And this are the days of social media and to share this story would be far too easy and warranted if nothing is done about this. It does not look good renting unsafe equipment and testing your customers rather unfairly to boot. Balls in your court Uhaul.

The truck was largely clean, but there was a small bit of grease and a couple of pieces of refuse in the truck. Otherwise, it was a perfect transaction, the gentleman who helped me at the location was very professional and kind. I'd highly recommend them.

There was only one person working in a variety store and it was very busy. When it was my turn to get truck there were several interruptions. People buying tickets, cigarettes, papers etc. There should be 2 people working when this busy. Instead of taking 5 or 6 minutes it was more like 20 plus.

In order to improve you can stop adding unjustified charges to the customer's bill after they have left the store. I was charged an fuel service fee, for actual fuel and for cleaning after moving one sofa for less than two hours. I refueled the vehicle to where it was before I left and returned it as clean as when I received it. Exceedingly poor way to treat customers. Ended up billing me $192.00 for less than two hours on a truck you advertise as a $19.95 rental.

When I stepped into the van for the first time the smell was like rotten eggs or manure. The odor inside was awful. Check and clean the van not only outside and take care that the gases inside closed spaces could be health threatening.

Extremely poor customer service at this location. Cashier was very rude, and dishonest. We had the Uhaul van for 2 hours, and drove it locally. When we returned the Uhaul, the same employee inspected it and then said there was an additional $10 charge...assuming it was the mileage, because there was no explanation, I went ahead and authorized the charge, then when I looked at the receipt to verify, he said the gas meter wasn't where it was supposed to be...ALTHOUGH IT was...then I argued why he didn't advise me of that in the beginning...literally an Esso next door, I could've put more gas.. Anyway, I will never ever, return to this location. This individual was very shady, and had a bad attitude from the beginning.

Not used to driving a truck but the alignment seemed out. Inside of the truck had coffee spill on driver side. Contract was not fully reviewed with me.

Learn what good customer service means. Don't use a convenience store to rent out vans. Totally ignored while they served customers buying worms, cigarettes and lottery tickets. Told me to step aside .while he serves his real customers. Made me take a picture of mileage and gas instead of him checking it. Don't go to 183 Colborne st W in Brantford. I had booked my van at another location a month prior and at the last minute switched locations for pick up. Not typical of my rental experience in the past but this was brutal.

Rep was very in friendly, did not help with my issue. Told me it was not his problem and to contact Uhaul directly. When I went into the store he didn’t help me and get out of the store as quick as possible, while helping me helped out customers. Deylaying me. Not a pleasant experience, will not return there.

My U-Haul was not delivered to the correct location and I had to drive across town to get it, but no one informed me that its location had been moved. Luckily, I booked the U-Haul, as I do with many things in life, well in advance to compensate for the incompetence of other people, so luckily we did not miss our scheduled time of arrival. However, if I was a less organized person, we would have arrived late to present a stage play, which would certainly be unacceptable. If you deliver your truck to another location, a heads up would be appreciated. Otherwise, great service as usual.
