Crammed parking of truck- took 10 minutes to get it out of parking lot. spent lot of time in store doing registration again and providing all information I had already registered online including credit card details. I didn't have liberty to park my car where I wanted.ABY I.
Front low air tire indicator was on. Also cab and inside truck were very dirty. I went back in and was told to take it to the gas station to put air in the tire. I had to clean the truck before we loaded our things into it.VALERIEE L.
Van was a bit dirty when I picked it up. There was also a warning on the dash when I turned it on indicating the front right tire needed air. So I added air ($2) plus the gas and kl and time to find and do it. It was disappointing when you are in a hurry to get your destination and back.KEVIN K.

The online check in wouldn't work so that needs to be fixed. It wouldn't recognize me at the right location and yes my location services were on. Store clerk was more than helpful to get us on our way though ðŸ˜ŠALLAND F.

The cab of truck smelt like smoke Mud inside can Broken glass in box and mud and dirt had to spend time cleaning it before we actually moved. Called store to extend rental was told no then called u haul direct and was qwick and easy. Original reservation was for return Sunday morning however when rented only had 10 I was a bit confused by this so it ended costing me both precious time and frustrationANNEF G.
There was an empty pallet left in the back of the truck, garbage was present in the cab and the passenger seat was covered in debris. This location is more focused on getting a quick turnaround then spending time cleaning trucks. The previous user brought the truck back right when I got there and it was not sanitized. They also have limited parking if you plan to leave your car on site. I would not recommend this location.Jatinder G.

The Uhaul dealer in Brantford Ontario wasn't friendly at all they can't even speak English well and understand your needs. The truck was very bad and I called for the road service because the truck broke down after 2 hours driving, but no one answered us even though we stayed online and on phone for around 2 hours. And then we start driving anyway meanwhile the truck AC wasn't sure work and the light engine was on but later turned off by it self.hemin S.

There was a lock on the uhaul that we had to break. The company should have inspected the truck more thoroughly. The uhaul was also extremely filthy. Usually the uhauls I have rented before are immaculate. This one was not. The employees incorrectly answered my questions and concerns which caused a lot of confusion. I asked how much of a deposit I had to give and they answered there was no deposit. I also asked if they needed my credit card and they said no. The day a friend went to pick up the truck, they asked for a credit card and they charged a $400 deposit.Yolanda C.

Spoke to 2 separate agents that confirmed my reservation for 48 hrs. You're regional manager tried to cancel my reservation because she didn't understand when I was going to be returning the vehicle. And told me I was being rude because of this. Which was absolutely insane to me. That call should be reviewed. Ordered three dollys. Didn't get a single one. Ordered furniture covers. Didn't get a single one. Worse experience renting a vehicle ever! Wouldn't recommend this location or a uhaul to anyone. Get a pencar or some shit. Worst fucking moving experience of my life.Derek D.

My experience this time around was very displeasing. Unfortunately the truck that was rented was both quite dirty upon receiving it and as your records should indicate the vehicle broke down and put us out of commission in the blazing heat on an off ramp. Luckily I reacted promptly and was able to turn on the emergency flashers and coast off the highway safely. I've been trying for days since this past Friday to contact uhaul, however each time I've been on hold for a long period of time and was unable to speak with a representative to discuss what took place. I hope somebody will reach out and refund our money as well compensate us for the unsafe predicament we faced.JASON K.
This is a multi use location with very little signage to direct a person where to go to pick up their rental. As well the person who who helped me was very curt and not very pleasant to deal with. I will not be using this location in the fiture if I use U-Haul ever again.DAVIDG G.

Truck wasn't there when I had guaranteed pick up. When I got the truck it was over an hour late, no gas in it. So much confusion going on, so unorganized that I was given the phone to try and fix an issue with the truck yet I don't work for uhaul. Very unpleasant experience. After picking up the trucks and driving 2 km to our location and started having mechanical issues it would only go up to 10 km an hour we couldn't continue like this so we returned the truck. I let the people know and they told me they were aware of the problem. WTF? why would they rent out this truck it has mechanical issues? We paid the $50 and then had to go rent a truck from somewhere else. Very disappointing and I would NOTrecommendSALVATORE C.
There was something up with this truck's transmission; I'm not 100 % sure but between 3 or 4 gear it sometimes wouldn't shift up regardless of if I let up on the accelerator or not, resulting in the occasional top-out of RPMs and burning gas more than any other truck of similar size I've ever driven. This would happen not all the time and not because of hills but about 30 % of the time I came out of a stop light. I did not have a tow/haul (nor was it activated) and it was only loaded ~30 %.Sean B.
U-Haul has degraded to a really low service quality where they don't care about the customers. The system was down when I needed to pick up the truck and it messed up my schedule completely. When the system was back on the next day, the customer service was horrible where they should've been apologizing and refunding me at least.Amin M.

The key was very tricky to turn and the transmission was slipping . When I returned the truck I informed them and they told me I had to let Uhaul know. It want their problem. . I paid 135 to rent and was not happy with their reply about what was wrong . Also there was no fire extinguisher im the truck . So not fully happy with my rental ...SAMANTHAANN M.

When a customer comes in to pick up keys, don't put them to the side and ignore them for 15 minutes so you can ring through an inordinate amount of lottery. I'm on a strict timeline, and all you have to do is hand over the keys, their lottery addiction can wait.Brett H.
all information was not provided and extra fee's were not communicated at all! the safemove additional insurance of $15 and a $5 environmental fee is suspicious at best - where does this fee go and we had our own insurance which would have covered us in the event of an accident (much like any rental vehicle). we should have been informed that the charge indicated was not the charge we would see on our VISA. this poor communication looks bad on UHAUL and vendors should be required to go over the rental agreement in advance when picking up a vehicle. Although only an additional $20 total (which we were taxed on) it was our $20 and we feel like UHAUL took advantage of us. Not pleased with this scam! Environmental fee's are charged on tires, electronics ... what is this fee for?!!?!! bad UHAUL taking advantage of the general population!Jason R.

The pick up location was a convenience store. I was unable to get any moving equipment because this is essentially a pick up spot and not an actual UHaul dealer. The van had Arizona plates. The hotbed of COVID it was not sanitized. I had to do that myself. That is not safe. The battery kept running low. The oil was low.There is no ongoing maintenance on vehicles at a convenience store. It would be nice if you included the free KMS with the 10' truck. I paid $146 (Rented under a friends name) in February for 2 days, with the biggest truck. I used this 10' one for 4,5 hours and paid almost as much.... $119. Seems pretty high for such a short rental period. Should always include KMS with the rentals, I think people would be more inclined to rent again if you did. I am not disappointed with the service, the staff were friendly and easy to deal with, I was just very shocked with the price.Melissa C.
