Have the proper truck ready- I had to take a bigger truck and in turn was charged an extra .30 a mile. When I arrived the bender could not find the keys and I had to follow him around his store as he searched for the proper paperwork. I was not offered any type of toll pass and then received a bill for tolls- that was fine, except a few weeks later I received another bill for roll and an administrative fee- I called U Hail and received very little help them asked to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected- I am so disappointed in Uhaul.

In the last 6 months I’ve moved three times. I really enjoy the convenience of self rental. The only issue is each time I’ve done it there’s been confusion at the store itself. The store staff don’t really understand the process. This last time the store manager refused to give me the key. He couldn’t seem to understand why the truck wasn’t showing up in his system. I had a one way rental and once I completed the rental process on my phone the truck was rented and of course wouldn’t show on the system. He delayed me almost 30 minutes trying to explain how it worked to him. As I mentioned it’s not the first time I’ve experienced issues at the store with a process uhaul itself has made so convenient. Store staff need more training on the process.

in this place they charged me gas that I don't use, I used the truck for only 10 miles and they charged me 31 dollars of gasoline and I left the tank as they gave me, a shame, I hope uhaul will give me my money back because otherwise it's a real scam

First, when I arrived I was told that the vehicle I had reserved had a broken mirror and that they would give me a larger one that didn't have any issues. Then when the rep ran the contract, it wouldn't let him switch the vehicle and he told me that I had to take the one with the broken mirror. So I called the 800 number and they allowed the switch. While the rep was a nice kid and was very apologetic, he should have called it in and fixed it rather then me having to do it. Second, I had reserved a hand cart and when I got there I was told they didn't have any at that location. I then drove to the next nearest Uhaul and they didn't have any either. I ended up going to a hardware store and buying a dolly for $17. They did add more time to my reservation due to this delay but not any miles so I ended up going over by 3 miles and had to pay for that as well.

I didn't chose this location. I was assigned randomly by your system against my will. This is not a safe location to leave a car. Your system SHOULD not assign randomly location but let the customer chose ONLY the ones they need.

I’ve bin tol I’m paying mileage $.97 instead I go charged $1.19 per mile. Also I return the truck with more gas then original and got charge for fuel ??. Unacceptable and I’m not happy.

As I asked questions about extending for 1 more day they didn't have to be so short about it and just hung up then called me again to see if I could return the same day and I said it will be another hour. They said something then hung up so I called back and they said no it will cost another $40 which I said NP but I returned it anyways that evening and still charged me $40 today Sunday the end of June totally uncalled for and even gave them more gas than they gave me.

Save yourself the aggrivation of dealing with this dealer, on top of the aggrivation that moving already comes with. Customer service is deffinetely a concept they do not know about. Attendant was rude, did not print a contract (out of paper), which I don't mind about, if you will send it to the right email address. I was just charged and handed the key, with no explanation of something basic that will take you 2 minutes as "when you open the back door be careful with the latch, make sure it's...." So I ended up with the back whide open and unable to close, beacuse it got stuck with the latch. At the front of a high rise with limited time to move out, no trucks allowed. I won't go more into details, but this became a real nigtmare.
