After my recent trip with U-Haul I will not be recommending U-Haul to any one. I had such a bad time trying to drop off my equipment. Staff at every location were not helpful. And was advised I would be able to drop off at a closer location and staff didn't want to accept the truck and had to drive further location and spend more gas and driving in circles trying to find the “location”. No where to park the truck and employee wanted me to park in the grass and leave half of the truck in the street telling me it was ok. And then was charged for gas after this headache will never use U-Haul again

Not location where we wound up getting truck from that place was fine - It was 1st place we were told to go Make a definite way to find if truck is really there so Customer does not drive a long distance and wait 45 minutes to be told truck was already reserved

The truck was full of dirt and trash in the back. The front cab was dirty and had a water bottle that was covered in spider webs so it had obviously been there a very long time.

I asked for a truck to move a fridge, even if they tried to help, they didn't ask me the heigh of the fridge and finally fridge didn't fit and I had to put it landscape. Also they didn't carry an appliance dolly, and also didn't advice me that the truck didn't have a ramp, so loading and unloading a fridge there was a big effort.

We dropped off the Truck after hours and put the key in the drop box. I called the following day to confirm the dropped off. I was told that the truck wasn't there. They didn't bother to check their drop box for keys. They would have seen it. I even told the guy where it was parked. He didn't go outside to check for the truck. He said he couldn't help me. He was RUDE to me. I hope U- HAUL will train them to give excellent customer service. I was frustrated. Thanks to the lady at U-Haul headquarters that helped me to call them and resolved it for me.

The truck worked fine but it does need some maintenance. The brakes weren't working too well, and the gears made a metal scraping sound when the automatic transmission was shifting them. Other than that, everything else seemed fine.

Have the proper truck ready- I had to take a bigger truck and in turn was charged an extra .30 a mile. When I arrived the bender could not find the keys and I had to follow him around his store as he searched for the proper paperwork. I was not offered any type of toll pass and then received a bill for tolls- that was fine, except a few weeks later I received another bill for roll and an administrative fee- I called U Hail and received very little help them asked to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected- I am so disappointed in Uhaul.

In the last 6 months I've moved three times. I really enjoy the convenience of self rental. The only issue is each time I've done it there's been confusion at the store itself. The store staff don't really understand the process. This last time the store manager refused to give me the key. He couldn't seem to understand why the truck wasn't showing up in his system. I had a one way rental and once I completed the rental process on my phone the truck was rented and of course wouldn't show on the system. He delayed me almost 30 minutes trying to explain how it worked to him. As I mentioned it's not the first time I've experienced issues at the store with a process uhaul itself has made so convenient. Store staff need more training on the process.

in this place they charged me gas that I don't use, I used the truck for only 10 miles and they charged me 31 dollars of gasoline and I left the tank as they gave me, a shame, I hope uhaul will give me my money back because otherwise it's a real scam

First, when I arrived I was told that the vehicle I had reserved had a broken mirror and that they would give me a larger one that didn't have any issues. Then when the rep ran the contract, it wouldn't let him switch the vehicle and he told me that I had to take the one with the broken mirror. So I called the 800 number and they allowed the switch. While the rep was a nice kid and was very apologetic, he should have called it in and fixed it rather then me having to do it. Second, I had reserved a hand cart and when I got there I was told they didn't have any at that location. I then drove to the next nearest Uhaul and they didn't have any either. I ended up going to a hardware store and buying a dolly for $17. They did add more time to my reservation due to this delay but not any miles so I ended up going over by 3 miles and had to pay for that as well.

I didn't chose this location. I was assigned randomly by your system against my will. This is not a safe location to leave a car. Your system SHOULD not assign randomly location but let the customer chose ONLY the ones they need.
