Made the reservation over the phone for a 6x12' trailer with ramp. Process was easy and had no hiccups. As usual, Uhaul provided very sturdy equipment at a fair price. Thanks high desert home center 93555. You guys are great!

Kelly W.The check-out process was exhausting, which caused me to almost miss my appointment. At issue was the requirement for the clerk to call an acquaintance to verify identity. This step was so needless as no other businesses, such as car rental companies, in their right minds would implement.
Khanh L.The hidden fees are ridiculous. I was told $29,95 for a day's rental and $0,99/mi and nothing else. When I returned the vehicle and was shown the bill, I was outraged to see that beyond the $14 in gas I'd used, there was $50 more in fees! The customer service person told me that that information was sent in a hyperlink text upon reserving and that it was my responsibility to read it. The text information for the hyperlink did nothing to communicate its necessity, and I assumed it was just legal liability jargon. My conviction is that it is the customer service person's responsibility to make the customer aware of any hidden fees. The customer service person was totally callous, and I was so frustrated by her unresponsiveness that I finally just spat Fine I'll pay it! and walked out.
BECKY J.Employees can't help or answer questions because they're not actually Uhaul and don't know. The manager of the store was great and tried her best but had no control over what was happening. First, “estimating†a price to charge me then charging me again when I return the U-Haul? Then I have to wait for the estimated total they charged me and are HOLDING EVEN STILL for five business days is not okay.

Sam S.Tried to get us to use a 26 foot truck with 3 out 4 bald tires in the back. Got switched out for a 20 foot truck and the price was the same as the 26 foot truck. Was told they were unable to do anything about the Price difference. Called U-Haul and they said they would have been able to do something about the Price and should have but they didn't. So left with a smaller truck and a car hauler. Wouldn't recommend at all!

James F.Do not unilaterally change terms of your bilateral contract agreements to suit your own equipment transport needs at your customer's expense. Do not indenture customers as unpaid equipment transport labor under extorted threat of bogus “wrong drop-off†penalties. When added fuel and rental costs to customers results from failure to provide equipment reserved, train and delegate your employees with the common sense authority to fairly compensate customers for the added trouble, inconvenience, and out-of-pocket costs it caused.

Rocco C.The trucks braking system was not being properly maintained. I had to press on the break all the way to get the truck to stop. I returned the truck with a full tank of gas. The receipt listed the return fuel gage as being less than full so I am being charged $25. I returned the truck at the time it was due but, because the rental place was closed and the uhaul system could not find my rental agreement, i was told by a uhaul representative to wait until today and go back to the rental place for a receipt. Seeing that the fuel gage was not reported correctly by the rental place, I don't have confidence in dealing wth them.

Kim R.Your trailers should come with a Jack! You can not load the Uhaul with the trailer attached! The ramp is not accessible when trailer is attached. Unhooking the Uhaul trailer with no Jack is dangerous and very difficult! If I hadn't been taking it for you and it being free I wouldn't have been really upset! Safety features like a Jack should not have to be rented or bought! The truck had a lot of unmarked damage to.

LARRY S.I can't really think of anything to improve on. The location is pretty easy to find , its very easy to tell you're at the right place the very clean U- haul pickups you can't miss. The service was great, they explain what you'll be paying for very helpful and inexpensive considering I live 45 miles away & had to make a couple of trips back to pickup roofing stuff. For a large pickup it got really good gas milage. I would rent from them again and recommend them especially if you're on a budget.

Ursula E.Was FORCED to purchase insurance even though I have personal insurance that covers rental moving trucks. Tried to tell the cashier but she said I HAD to because uhaul isn't covered by personal insurance. I was in a pinch and needed the truck so I accepted. I later read on the website that my insurance does cover rental trucks but by that time it was to late to get the money back. I drove less that 5 miles and had the truck for approximately 1 hour and it cost me almost $60, even though the reservation quoted $26. This place is definitely using shady tactics to generate revenue.

Austin E.I was ever unhappy with this uhaul location and I will NEVER rent from uhaul again.. I was told the day before that it would be $22. something plus my gas mileage.. I said cool.. so I go to get the uhaul and the lady who did all my paperwork said nothing of me having to get insurance.. if I would have know I had to pay for insurance I WOULDN'T OF RENTED IT.. I have full coverage insurance..every other place I rented from just used my insurance.. I picked it up around 10:30am and returned it at 4:11pm the same day and it was $63. and something.. I had no problem pay for mileage but I was not told about the insurance.. I am not happy at all.. and the place was every rude the older lady was.. the Ellie is the one who told me it would be $22. something the day before and she also didn't not say anything about the insurance.. and when I asked about it she acted like she had no clue why it was on my bill.. I think it is bull.. I will never send anyone to this store or to a uhaul place.. Very unhappy customer

My only dislike was the fact that I ordinally wanted to rent the 9 foot van but ended up with the 10 foot truck. It would have been cheaper in the gas usage for me on this trip. Not sure why this location only has 1 van for rental?
Joan V.Order was made on line a couple weeks in advance, when complete & truck was brought around. It didn't contain the moving pads I requested. When I asked I was told not on my order. Figured a computer error & went on our way. At turn in we were asked where the pads were, yes I had paid for them.

Roxann S.The customer service agent wrote wrong mileage and gas level, causing me to pay $20 more. Nobody inspected truck for prior damage, truck was dirty, and had trash all through it. Truck had a miss in motor causing me to use more gas then needed. When we pointed out scratches on truck, trash in truck, and dirt clots on truck we were told, truck had already been inspected, and anything we said was completely disregarded.
