HR Wentzels is an excellent place! However, UHaul accepted my reservation for a 26 ft truck but failed to notify me that only a 15 ft truck was available and I had to make multiple trips. If I had known this, I would have reserved from a place that had a 26 ft truck available. Not a fault of HR Wentzels but I fault of UHaul.

They hooked up the trailer to my vehicle but let the wire hang down so it shorted out after leaving due to the wire being stripped Not their fault but even before this we rented a 5'x8' trailer 12 min away but the day before Uhaul called and cancelled it saying it is now not available so they gave us a 6'x12' trailer which I didn't need.
We had to jump the uhaual twice and had to leave it running, making us spend more on gas becuase of it. The battery dying in the truck made the day even more stressful.
The online pickup via mobile phone was not good. I was at the location for 1 hour and 30 minutes trying to pick up the truck.
Extremely friendly and helpful
I had a lot of trouble with the online Check in and drop. It took multiple times before i was able to get through both. I requested and am waiting for an invoice for all of the charges to make sure i am not charged for the pads and dolly that i didnt get. I am glad that i only had a few pieces of furniture to move and not a whole house. This was stressful enough.
Took care of returning truck without any trouble.
Dropped off when closed. Area extremly dark after dusk. Poor cell reception made returning truck app useless on my cell lucky my wife's cell was able to get through.
The pick up process was difficult with the Truck Share 247 feature. The app timed out and had connection issues multiple times, despite having 5 bars of LTE in a rural, low traffic area. Once my pick-up went on to the validation process, there was over 10 minutes of dead time while waiting where no agents responded and no status was given. Finally, a Uhaul representative responded and validated me and the rest of the pick up proceeded without issue. It's not a huge deal but I do think there is room for improvement in that technology and process.
The entire stereo system didn't work and the ramp was uneven/lopsided.

This rental was a piece of cake! Friendly employees, clean truck, quick transaction. Will definitely rent from this location again.
My rental truck was available on time as scheduled and all auxiliary equipment was on board (appliance dolly, pads). Truck was clean and ready-to-go. Excellent job!
Staff was friendly and professional, but due to your computer registration system repeatedly failing I waited nearly an hour to pick up my rental. Your website to change a reservation does not function. I waited for CS for 15 minutes to answer my call. You really need to review your internal systems, customer facing website, and call center.

When I started my rental it was reported the truck had a half a tank of gas and that I needed to put a half tank back in when returned. There was not NEAR a half a tank of gas in it, so I had to get gas as soon as I picked it up AND then had to put a half a tank back into the truck before I delivered it back to the store by so that I wouldn't get charged for gas that wasn't in the truck in the first place. That's ridiculous. Was supposed to have been charged off on our account no later than Monday morning. I waited until Monday afternoon to call and ensure they were not going to charge us more than the "hold" on the account to unt because we didn't even meet the "estimated" 49.5/50 miles, we drove 41 miles, but sure enough when I called the guys charged off on 49.50 miles, he didn't even bother to look that we only drove 41 miles, he didn't wait to discuss this at all, he just went ahead and ran it through, and then said they were swamped all day and he hadn't had time to take care of it. That may not seem like a big deal to this location, or to U-Haul, but if every customer is charged for 5-10 miles more than they used, somebody is cleaning up, and this is the very fraud that PA Auditor and Attorney General's office reports they want to hear about because it is very simply fraud, and it's very easily traceable and verifiable. Those will be my next calls after the holidays, I am so sick of companies just going ahead and feeling entitled to rip off every customer that walks through the door.

The location was excellent. Staff was excellent. UHaul customer service, scheduling, and anything related to the 800 number was absolutely horrible. A monkey could do a better job of knowing his ass from a hole in the ground than the people who answer the telephone calls and make reservations and schedule. This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in my life with UHaul and you can rest assured people will know about it. How about next time you expand your survey so it isn't just about the location (which was excellent) but ask questions about the shitty customer service at your main UHaul phone number?

Nothing needed to improve because the service at this location was excellent.
We had so many issues concerning renting the truck. They did everything humanly possible to help us.
Although this was an exceptional place to pick up my uhaul, it was 10 miles further from my original request. All in all very happy with my service.
Went and talked to guy about bill and said someone would be in contact with me, yet have not heard anything and my account is showing all different banking activity from U-Haul

This is the second time in the last 3 months that I had to move my stuff into storage and then from the storage unit into her house and I've spent $181 the first time and over $130 a second time I am a single mom with two kids this is completely outrageous I don't think I will ever use Uhaul again

only issue not noted on my paperwork was the check engine light was on - I went back in and the gentleman reassured the light was on when they picked up the truck at a Mechanicsburg location and it was running fine

The counter person was unprofessional. They did not put the dolly in the truck, had to load very heavy items. I would not patronize this location again.
We were so lucky to not only find a U Haul service center close to home, but within an hours notice at that!! We will definitely be a return customer :)
Due to weather conditions equipment was dirty exterior and interior.
The ratchet strap mechanism needed oiled and tires not up to pressure, but I took care of those, not a big deal. It was a very cold day, so tire pressure varies this time of year. Wentzel's were very helpful on return time. We had some travel issues, and they were quite accommodating. Glad I called them and that they had what I needed in such short notice!
Easy drop off and I was greeted immediately and was on my way .
I put 30 miles on the truck, doing a small round trip move. It took 8 gallons of gas to fill the truck up when I returned. Do the math...a little over 3 miles per gallon. I think the tank wasn't topped off when I got it.
I had two issues. First I stoped in two weeks in advance and reserved a 26ft truck. Day before I was to pick up the truck I got a call saying 26' not available now but we have a 20 ft truck. I was only moving local so we made it work. But why reserve a truck if they are not going to give you what you reserve?? Next, there was no way that truck was full on gas when I got it. Only drove it 38 miles and it took 10 gallons to fill her up. Glad I wasn't going cross country with mileage like that.

The movers "ProFit Movers" we hired through Uhaul's website were more than 1/2 and hour late for a scheduled move at the Carlisle War College. We're so frustrated because many people's time was involved. I don't think this is a good value for our money. Very dissatisfied with this.
Agent gave me the wrong truck Mileage was not correct and the gas gauge was not correct. Agent is trying to correct the wrong mileage fee and did correct the gas problem

Environmental Fee? PA Motor Vehicle Rental Fee? On top of all the other fees this is ridiculous! Anything to squeeze a dollar out of a person.
