The pick up was horrible... Took an hour, which I spent outside in the freezing cold because it’s an unmanned office miles away from my original reservation spot... Oh, and that pickup spot was changed 3 times by you, not me.. So when I was finally advised of the pick up spot ( 10 mins AFTER my reservation time) I had to call an Uber to take me to the new pickup spot from the one I was texted two days prior. When asked why I should have to pay for the extra mileage... the response was “oh well, this is way we have available “.. Work on your pickup service ...The drop off was perfect. Had the pickup not been a cluster I would be giving rave reviews.

getting into the building isn't glaringly obvious. We thought the building was just self-storage when we initially walked in. Once you're through the second door you see the sign for "Office". Besides that, it was fast and easy!

There was a lot of pre-processing steps necessary in order to pick up the truck, like taking pictures of the driver's license, entering more details on a browser, engaging with a chat agent that happened on-site, that should have occurred before I got to the site. I wish there had been some warning that this would occur. It took an extra 15-20 minutes and occurred outside, in the cold.

Windshield wiper fluid should be checked before each truck rental. My windows weren’t the dirtiest, but I wanted to clean them but there was no fluid. I mentioned it to the guy who checked me back in and he was sure there was some, but when he checked there wasn’t and he apologized. So this isn’t a bad rating, just a something to double check for the next customer.

I had an 8am pickup. The assigned rental truck was blocked; therefore, I had to wait until 9:30am (when the facility opened) in order to use the truck. This placed me behind schedule and my window time to move was already narrow. I was very disappointed. I know the employees are not in control of truck drop off, but there have to be a better system. Moving is already stressful and to have this happen is unacceptable.

I've rented from several u-haul locations in the city over the years and this is by far the best. The cleanest, the best customer service, etc I would drive quite a distance to use this one in the future.

Have posted signs for where trucks should be returned. Additionally, fix the call box so customers can more easily enter the office. Ideally, have more staff on hand so employees can do a final inspection of the equipment with the patron. In my experience, the single staff worker merely said "I'll look at the truck later" and shooed me out.

The staff was helpful and understanding with my peculiar situation. Gratitude to the gentleman, that assisted me with my reservation. I appreciate the time he took, to make sure I could accomplish my goal. He made the end of a hectic day, much smoother.

Do yourself a favor and do not try to pick up/drop off with that 24/7 online access bullshit. It's a total headache and not worth the trouble. When they tried to verify my identity, all my friends had the number come up as "scam likely". This was the only time I have ever received a truck that did not have a full tank of gas, and I had no one to talk to about it. I filled up the tank and low and behold, I did not have to do that, which no one explained to me. When I tried to call to talk to someone, I was on hold for over 20 minutes and just hung up because it wasn't worth my time to try and speak to a person to get everything worked out. Never renting from uhaul again after this, total waste of time and money.
