the service person was very very nice and helpful and the pickup was easy. so the service at Harlan Ave is A+. the truck however was a disaster. - filthy ! we sprint 20 min cleaning the inside and covered seats with plastic - once we started driving the OIL light, LOW TIRE pressure light and WASHER FLUID light came on - the right side mirror was shattered and we had no visibility to change lanes or turns U-haul - you should be embarrassed and dissatisfied with this experience.

They closed 2 hours early the next day had to go and unhook the trailer myself they was going to have me hook it up myself when I picked it up Never have I had to do this with all the time I have rented from U-Haul Will not go back to this location

This site took care of me but it took time to do it. They did not have the right trailer, the right electric connector and there were cars blocking the entrance. As I said, they took care of all the problems but it took longer than necessary.

The guy was terrible. He yelled at me because I was t able to back the trailer into the small spot he wanted. I didn't pay over $800 to be sworn and screamed at, it's my job to drop it off and his job to place it where he wants. I was terrified. I'd like a partial refund.

I was scheduled to pick up my auto trailer at this location. There was no one there to hook it up. The lady found someone and it took 3 hours. The straps to cover the passenger side wheel came of twice and I was told by another U-Haul employee the chain was not hooked up correctly. Your company put me in a lot of danger as well as other people on the road. I am reporting you to the BBB and anyone else I can find. I will also share my story on social media to protect my friends and family from your company

The person behind the counter just took the key and didn't say much. I was then charged an extra day for the truck. I do not understand why since when I read the contract it stated I only needed to return the truck within the business hours of the location. Disappointed that I was charged an extra day.

The truck was dirty, inside and out. Broken glass and metal (sharp edges) and nails in the back of the bed, empty cigarette cartoon, the tie down straps were not maintained and in operable, cab smelled like smoke and was dirty. Every check engine light (for needs oil and windshield washer fluid to tire pressure) was on. All four tires had different pressures, ranging from 19 PSI to 29 PSI.

The truck was dirty, sticky seats, sounded horrible. The truck was blocked in and we had to wait 15 minutes just to pull out truck. No one went over truck or mileage.

My only issue was that when I suddenly needed a truck (and luckily they had one available and the check out was INCREDIBLY fast) I was given one that was dirty, which I don't care about but there were a pair of gloves in it and a Dolly that I didn't need because I have my own. What that tells me is that it wasn't supposed to be rented, but due to the fact that I really needed a truck quickly, they sent me out with it. No big deal as long as they didn't charge me for rental of the Dolly. I didn't ask for it and didn't need it. Overall, I have no complaints because my car broke down and I needed a vehicle to move boxes in and to get my wife and son to work, and they made sure I had one. I know I drove a lot of miles, so I'm not disputing my charges at all.

I ordered and received a confirmation for the Colfax location. While driving there, I received a call from Uhaul with no answer. I got to the Colfax location to be told that the trailers in the lot weren't available. That's when I noticed an email that arrived while I was driving stating my location changed.

people who did rental were VERY NICE! Equipment was filthy. And we were charged for more gas even after I showed photos that the tank wasn't full. During the pandemic equipment needs to be cleaned.

Mileage and gas levels were incorrect in the computer verses what was actually visual on the dashboard, potentially leaving me with a much higher bill (200 mile difference and 1/4 tank of gas). Cab and cube were soiled with dry concrete debris.

Upon getting in the vehicle I noticed remnants of old food in the center console area. No question this trash had been drying up in this vehicle for weeks. I then went to use the coffee cup holder and noticed it was completely encrusted in dried up liquid. How could you provide a vehicle to someone with this extent of filth?

There are too many things going on at this location, gas station, auto repair, used car lot and uhaul. Although the employees were friendly they are so busy and it took over one hour to get a trailer. After a long process to get our first trailer my husband opened it and found it was full so we had to start over to get another trailer that was empty and hooked up..

The windshield was filthy and there was no washer fluid. There was a persistent rattle inside the truck while operating. I ordered an appliance dolly and instead received a utility dolly, which was unhelpful for moving washer/dryer. The service counter employee was not wearing a mask in violation of county originate and state mandate, and despite doing a solo drop off was forced to interact with the mask less proprietors. Really bad experience.

The only issue I could see is the lack of parking if you need to leave a vehicle. Fortunately, Nathan let me park in the space the truck I rented was in, so it wasn't an issue in this case. They were able to extend my rental by several hours with only a couple days notice. Overall I am very pleased with this location.

There was nobody available to help me connect the trailer and the one person at the location who" couldn't leave the cash register" wasn't wearing a face mask, licked her fingers several times while managing paperwork then handed me a pen to sign the paperwork with the very hand with the licked fingers. I was astonished.

I did not recieve the furniture dolly I rented and I immediately let Uhaul know. I asked for that specific dolly charge to be taken off and it still was applied, even after I disputed it. No one contacted me regarding the dispute, despite being told I would be contacted within 48 hours. The charge went through immediately however. Not sure I wanna use Uhaul again.

My entire experience with Uhaul the day before picking up the truck was horrendous. My original store called and canceled my truck and rescheduled for a day after I was scheduled (without my consent) after the store was already closed so I could not call anyone back. I stayed on the phone the night before and the morning of for over 4 hours. I was passed around from person to person, no one took responsibility and everyone was trying to tell me that there were no trucks available. People yelled at me as if I were in the wrong and took no responsibility when I asked what was going to happen since my movers and hotel room were already scheduled for that day. FINALLY, someone found me a truck. The location I went to was wonderful. Nate was very accommodating and moved some things around in the schedule. He was friendly, helpful and personable- the truck was in great shape and ready to go. I appreciated everything he did and the fact that he seemed to care when no one else who worked for Uhaul seemed to care really helped to turn the day around.

The guys working never told us they didn't know how to attach the trailer but they did anyway. We learned upon returning the trailer that employees aren't trained to hitch/unhitch the trailer. Since the guys hooked it up initially, that left us all there unsure of how to unhitch. Overall a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

I was unable to use your electronic check-in on my phone because my wireless provider (Verizon) had no service at that location. Thank goodness I had helpful friends with different networks (Sprint and T-mobile) at both check-in and drop-off, otherwise I would have been out of luck. It was a very stressful addition to my moving day. Everything else was great, but I wanted to mention for any future individuals renting from that location. I would have gone with a regular check-in had I known. Thanks!

Nothing to improve! Customer service was immaculate and the truck was exactly what I needed.

Better customer service actually go outside with the customer and look over the vehicle make sure the mileage is correct make sure the gas gauge is correct don't just rely on the computer. I was charged for mileage that I did not drive. Thankfully I took pictures of the vehicle and of the instrument panel showing the correct mileage when I got in it they claim they will refund the difference we'll see you in a couple days.
