I made my reservation over a month out, you proceeded to call me the day before my rental to tell me my only option is to drive 20 miles further than my original location. So 40 miles I had to pay for when it said the truck WAS available at the time of reserving. But your policy is bogus and you should reimburse people that are struggling to move around holidays and you don't know people situation so to make me pay the extra money for YOUR convenience is bullshit. No more U-Haul for me I will rent from Penske or a friend next time. Bogus

Jessica ONext time don't call and reschedule a different uhaul location two days before pickup because original location doesn't have 26' truck. Day before is fine. And have location hours when there is staffing to check in customers. Not when the other business is open.

josh lSo I tried to rent a car hauler trailer to pull my 2013 Lincoln MKZ with my 2009 F-150 SuperCrew and when I put that info in online it said that my truck wouldn't work for it so it recommended a 10 ft box truck which I rented both from Indiana Diesel power I get a call the day before pickup saying that I needed to pick up the 10-footer at prompt Auto motive in Walkerton and the trailer in the Lapaz which was not a big deal so that's what I did. I get the 10-ft truck from prompt drive to La Paz to get the transport trailer and they wouldn't let me get the trailer because it said the 10-ft truck would not work so then they told me that I had down an 09 F-150 for the pulling vehicle which I argued back and forth with them on the phone for over an hour and was even hung up on by one of your representatives at transport then they finally got it resolved and said I could take a 26 foot truck and pull the trailer with that. I was almost late for my appointment I had taken time off of work and had an appointment at the Indiana State Police post to pull a rebuilt vehicle there and have them inspect it that's why I needed a car transport. After it was all said and done I ended up getting charged more than what the original quote was for and basically accused of me being the one that screwed up the reservation. I have screenshots of all the online reservation recommendations that you're automated site put in. Not pleased at all and I will never use Uhaul again

indiana dNothing pertaining to the owner of the pickup location. They did fine. Dispatch changed my pickup location 4 times, including 30 minutes before my pickup time to go 45 minutes the opposite direction from the previous location, then wanted to charge me an extra $65. I had to take off of work early to get there in time as it was, and i ended up having to change my pickup time because i could make it in time for my original pickup. I wasn't happy that I had to drive in a circle for an hour to get the trailer. It should already be know where I can pick up a trailer when I made the reservation.

BRENDA JIf you can not pick up your rental more than one hour ahead of time, you should let the customer know. We wasted an hour waiting to get our rental, even though we were verbally told it could be picked up at any time.

ron vVehicle was dirty. Not swept out. Very bad vibration when driving highway speeds, whether loaded or empty. Staff not very receptive. Acted as if I were bothering them. Had to check in/out by myself while they sat in a chair behind the desk. Was told I'd get a $20 credit by returning the truck on uhaul.com. Didn't get the credit. I called today & Shawn said i don't get a credit but if I didn't return it online, I'd be charged the $20. I've never been charged that with any other uhaul rentals elsewhere. Will not be renting from uhaul ever again.

PHILIP SI have had nothing but problems with Uhaul, first, my truck was not available after I reserved it 1 month in advance (only given a day's notice prior to the moving date). I had to drive 30 miles each way to the next town to get a smaller truck than what I ordered.
ALEXANDER DHave someone check all the dash signals. As soon as I got in and started the vehicle the low tire pressure signal came on.
Austin MTrucks were clean. Location is good. The after hours 24/7 pick up app was confusing. I could not login to my account early to get the truck. I had to wait until the system sent me a text message with a link to get the code for the truck. Then when I turned it in after hours, the app wouldn't work because the server was down. I was charged for an additional day. After contacting UHaul, I was reimbursed for my extra day. I would recommend going in to indiana Dieselpower to reserve and turn in a truck and not to use the app or online service.
Steven WThe app and website didn't work. I spent 2 hours trying to tell uhaul that the trailer was returned. In the end I had to call customer support and email photos to them.
