Sonja KIt's located in the drive up lobby of a hotel. The signage isn't that clear-I'd put more up on the door about this also being a U-Haul location and ring bell for that service also.

Corey FThe truck was not exactly clean nor did it run well. Also, picking up the truck took far longer than I thought it would. I didn't complain. The price was right and it was convenient. That's what I thought until I got the bill. I was changed for an extra day, I was changed for cleaning when it wasn't clean when I picked it up etc. etc I was upset and not sure what to do. That's when James stepped in and had my back not once but twice. His customer service skills made the entire experience awesome! It seems nowadays people don't realize how important good customer service is to every business. James knows this and he is the reason I will definitely use U-Haul for any of my future moving and storage needs. He is also the reason i will refer them to anyone that I know or that i meet that is in need of their services. Thank you James, you rock!!!

Corey GThis is a sleazy hotel in a sleazy part of town. There was no Uhaul rep on site. I had to deal with a hotel clerk that had no knowlege of the uhaul equipment. I talked to the Uhaul rep by phone. I had to hook the trailer up by myself.

Chris NUnable to handle a large truck in their parking lot. They needed to reroute me to another location to return the truck. Difficult to maneuver truck and trailer in their small parking lot.

HARDIK STruck smelled liked a dirty ashtray when I picked up. There were cigarette ashes on the steering column.
CHARLES CThe uhaul agent was not there. The hotel manager did not speak English but called Hardik Shah. Who told me he could not come hook up trailer. He also told me that I didn't need to hook up lights on trailer. He sent me a link to watch trailer hookup on YouTube. I had a stranger hook up the best he could but it was not done correct and I had to drive to another facility to have it hooked up correctly. Darrell Delong properly hooked up trailer and lights at Pershing Street location and got us on our way safely.
Katrinka EManager was great and helped with every detail. His assistant, I believe his name is John, basically did everything for me; helped me back in, released the incoming unit from my hitch and attached the new unit to my vehicle. All I did was sign and drive! Thanks so much for all your help! Don from Louisiana…

David HWhile the location is not as large and easy to navigate just because of size and traffic - the staff was very nice and helpful in getting the trailer on reserve. The pick up and drop off both were quick and easy thanks to the well trained staff. Merci!

DUSTIN KTruck had not been cleaned at all (There was a vaping device sitting in the middle of the driver's seat and cigarette butts in the passenger seat). Location is in a run-down hotel and U haul does not appear to be their primary business.
Timothy PYou guys never refunded what I was owed. I PAYED for 75 miles and drove 55, you guys tried to charge me more instead of paying back what I was owed.

ASHALENA DThis place is gross! Its a run down old hotel with junk everywhere. The truck had mud all over the interior of the cab. I reserved my truck for pick up at an actual U-haul facility. If my reservation gets changed to pick up at this place again, I will cancel.
CARRIE RThe office had a note to come to room 103, so I did. When the lady answered the door she was in her pajamas and appeared as though she just got out of bed. I informed her I was there to pick up a truck. She said "ok, handed me the truck key and closed the door. I immediately drove to the local U-haul office and completed the rental paperwork and provided my cc information. This was the poorest example of professionalism I have ever seen.

ROSE FI had a big problem. Reserved a trailer on line. Was told to pick it up but nobody knew anything about it. Sent me to a second location, country market, but they were not set up to release. Had to go to Decatur, Il. After 1 1/2 hours on the phone. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Give me a call 503 704-6681

Travis WI am so disappointed to find out that this business is fraudulent. I am a business professional that rented a 15ft truck, cleaned and returned on time. Upon receiving my email I see that I was charged 25 for cleaning. There was nothing to clean because I personally took time to clean it. It's very sad, disrespectful and fraudulent and I will not only not patronize this location again but i will surely share with my colleagues to stray away from this location. I will additionally fill out the review on Facebook. My poor rating is based on the integrity of the business.

Dora MThis is the best place to rent a Uhaul in all of Decatur, Illinois. They're open 24/7, and they make everything easy. I highly recommend that if u need a Uhaul this is the place to get one.

He's open 24/7, and its always very personable and friendly. Can't speak highly enough of the service he provides for us and the community.

Cheetara CI feel bad about this review because the individual who helped me with the return was very friendly and nice. However, the Intown Motel location is a very dangerous place with a lot of drug users and predators roaming the parking lot and facility. The facility was clean and well-maintained. It was really the other element around it and staying there that was uncomfortable. I did not feel safe returning the rental there.
scott bThere was a technical issue involving the payment hold on my card..which showed in their system to have the available funds. Motel owner was very helpful, despite the issue being of no cause from him. Upon return of truck, he continued to be very friendly and helpful, including an apology for the issues that morning..which I recognize to have been out of his control. This was my first experience with uHaul, and I had a positive one with the location i dealt with.
