When I went to go pick up the UHual they attached the dolly to a different truck. So I had to call for a refund. I then went through the process with the mileage and it was off by 2,000 miles. I had to recall customer service for them to fix/note it down. When I returned the truck they tried to charge me around $1984 for a 25 mile drive. Luckily the guy at the UHual was able to sort it out. It was just a stressful experience.

This was the worst place to pick up. I stopped by the day before about 4:15 pm they were closed. I called and left a message that I would be there around 8-8:15 the next morning for pickup. On pickup day I arrived about 8:10 to find the place locked up tight and doesn't open until 9am although my reservation was for 8 am. Was on the phone with uhaul for over 40 minutes and left the location about 9:15 am and still no one from the location on site. Why would uhaul continue to use locations like this is beyond my comprehension.

First time picking up a truck with Uhaul share. Way too long waiting for the approval on line. Drop off is easy. I would like to see periodic interior detailing/cleaning. Although generally clean, the floor and cup holders were dirty with food and spilled drinks. Pictures will not capture this.

Make it clearer that when you change someones rental to a location that's closed, that they have to use the 24/7 mobile option. My rental was originally supposed to be in Clifton Park and then it got changed to Glenville. The Glenville office is closed on Saturdays so I was initially very confused and upset. You also need to make it much clearer on the website that the screen with your "completed" rental agreement isn't actually guaranteed until you get the text message. Again, the website said I was set in Clifton Park, but then I got a text message 30 minutes after making the reservation that my van was reserved in Glenville. Was upset to say the least. Very average experience overall.

Actually make an effort to get everything in the same location especially after spending ample time on the phone organizating things. The customer service was horrible and made things way more difficult than they should've been. I would like a copy of my conversations, I know they were recorded and the person who emailed me saying he/she listened to them obviously didn't. I'll be contacting BBB about the time, stress and money of mine your company wasted. It really shouldn't have been so difficult, if you had competant employees.

This was a nightmare. Was supposed to pu truck at 9 am. Place was closed. Took me two and a half hours to get key code to get into truck. It was a real sh-t show and so very very stressful for me and my family. I was supposed to move to Rochester at 9 and did not even leave area until 1! Will not use U Haul again

My rental was screwed up from the very start. I contracted for a 26' truck and auto carrier trailer to be picked up in Albany, NY at 9:00 am on Monday, July 30. I was called at 8:00 am to tell me the truck was not back yet and asked what was the latest we could wait fo it. I told them 11:00 am. At 9:00 am I received a call saying the auto carrier was in Glenville and I could pick it up there, but they didn't have a truck there. I said I needed them together. They guaranteed they would both be ready by 11:00 am and we could pick them up in Glenville. This was really inconvenient because Glenville is a 45 minute drive each way and Albany is 10 minutes. At this point I have lost 3-1/2 hours and I had people sitting around waiting to load the truck. Then to top it off, after the truck was fully loaded, we went to move it to hook up the auto carrier and noticed that the oil gauge was way down. In checking the oil, there was no oil in the truck. We called u-haul and we were told that we could put in a service call and they would come and take care of it or we could go buy the oil ourselves and put it in, which we did. Overall, I will never use U-haul again and I will never recommend it to anyone else.

I did not like the app return option. It was raining and the app was not working properly. So, I was standing in the rain attempting to answer these questions on my phone. I wish I would have known before I was standing at the box ready to drop off my key. Or I would have already completed the app process in the truck. I was unable to use the app and had to forfeit to simply returning the key. The establishment is great and efficient, otherwise.

I found it costly to be charged for a one way rental since I stopped at my local u haul facility at village rentals in speculator ny and would have basically done an in town rental but because they had not a single trailer on site I needed to use the facility I did and make it a one way. Which drove up the cost. I basically paid to help u- haul out and transport a trailer to a location that needed one. NOT FAIR!

Nothing. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. This was the first flatbed car trailer I have towed. I had the wrong size hitch ball and he waited while I went and got the right ones, took us to after closing time and he was very patient.

Worst nightmare i ever had. Terrible customer service. Blown off several times. Made reservation months in advance to pick up truck. Had to drive 60 miles to pick up. Gave me 120 miles comp and still charged me for going over. Had a full tank when returned and Charged me for gas.Worst experience ever had.NEVER AGAIN. RIPOFF
