Wouldn't give me a receipt for the return trailer. Said the system was down. Ask the clerk if they would sign my receipt, saying it was returned. They wouldn't do that.Richard H.
I have used U Haul several times and have been extremely happy with the service. This reservation was bad enough to not want to use you again. I had a 9am reservation, when we arrived we were told we couldn't get the truck until 10am. We came back at 10 and were told the employee that handled U Haul wouldn't be in until 12. At this point we had been paying our movers to just sit around. We didn't finally end up with the truck until 1pm and had payed our movers $90 for nothing.Cynthia O.
Only thing that I noticed was the attendant could not find the key to the key drop. We dropped it in went into to take care of the paper work and he said that he needed the key. So, we popped the lock,got the key and took it in. Need to either replace lock and find the key or take the box down. Regards.MICHAEL C.

Went to two different places to rent a trailer. First place didn't have a dolly for our big pieces of furniture so we went to the second place and we rented a trailer from them. We went around back to load the trailer and there was no trailer. We were redirected back to Jakes and we're able to get a trailer from them but no help loading it. Everything done by phone. I asked the guy on the phone if he was going to come help hook up the trailer and his response was â€œwe don't offer those servicesâ€. The trailer performed well Suggestion: If people are renting big trailers to move their personal belongings, Dollies should be made available.Gary S.

Dropped off trailer on a Saturday afternoon. One inside sales clerk was available to check in the trailer. That process was fast, but there was no one to assist with the disconnection of the trailer in an open grassy area behind the store. It took me about 15 minutes to get it unhooked and off the trailer ball by myself. UHaul trailers are quite heavy. All this time, I was getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Seriously need more help with customer service.DAVID M.

This was in person pick up , no it was over cell phone The truck wax nasty mud in the cab. It stuck bad, in the back of the truck was not clean. Trash everywhere looked like somebody was sleeping in there food and crap everywhere. And the website to do your vehicle check in didn't work it kept showing timed out. Them didn't have everything I asked for which was crap. I have rented u-haul 5 different times was treated good not this time it was crap.Harold N.

They gave me the wrong truck ...it was dirty and the seats wear covered in mud and I'm still trying to get reimbursed on it ..... I was supposed to have it 48 hours but only had it about 12....and have still yet to get reimbursed for the dirty truckChristopher N.
The equipment is parked in a grass lot which is actually mud. I hand washed the outside of the trailer because it was so dirty. Then parked in the mud. Made me sad.Jon R.

The truck was so rough. As you drive it, it was shaking horrible ride. And the hidden fee's are ridiculous. Was told it was gonna be $287 now I'm looking at $400 really. After on the phone we mapped out the mileage, this is ridiculous. Will not use again.Rachal H.

We reserved a truck at Storage Plus in Mineral Wells, Tx. They did not have the truck we reserved, so they sent us to Jakes Convenience Store #3 where it took an hour to actually obtain the vehicle. We spent 20-25 minutes on the phone w/ Uhaul rep answering questions we had filled out online the night before. Our truck was blocked in by 2 other Uhaul trucks and WE had to move them ourselves. We had a 4 hour drive to our destination; we were scheduled to leave town at 12:00 but did not get on the road until 2:00 because of all the delays getting the rental truck. We were so rattled because of all the hoops we had to jump through, we didn't notice the truck only had 1/2 a tank of gas until we were 30 minutes out of town. So then we had to stop and get gas!!! It was so frustrating and made for a very long day. We will not be using this site for rental EVER AGAIN.Kade H.

There is no heads up that everything has to happen online at this location. There's some suggestion that you *can* do things online, but no CLEAR heads up there's no traditional checkout. However in addition to the online setup, there's a ridiculous rule that you need to have a person U-Haul can contact IMMEDIATELY as you're checking out so they have someone on file "in case you're running a few minutes behind." Of course on a workday that may be next to impossible and they refuse to rent to you until you can find an alternative. What if you have no family or friends? How worthless is this rule? It's so worthless that one could, in theory of course, use a different number with another name sent to your own phone that one could self-verify that they won't be "running a few minutes late." Complete nonsense - either figure out a better way to track your vehicles, or come up with a better point of security. This one is just a waste of time for everyone involved.William M.
