MALCOM HThe place was a dump. He did not have the equipment that we ordered - only 20 blankets and no furniture movers. All of the blankets were lying outside on car hoods. When we arrived, it was a shack and his father came out to assist us. I had requested an in person meeting but he was not there. We had to call the son on our cell phones. As he was taking our information, he asked for a third phone number. When I asked him why, he said in a belligerent tone, I can't proceed with your reservation without a 3rd phone number. Please keep in mind that I had already provided all of my information on line. At this point, already seeing what a disgusting place this was and likely my expression on my face, my husband jumped in and gave him a number. Then the guy on the phone said "now, that wasn't so hard, was it?" This was absolutely the worst experience not to mention very bullying and demeaning. I will absolutely not be back.

MICHAEL MMy pick-up appointment was for 9 am. The location didn't open until almost 10 am. So that set me back on the schedule I had planned. Then I was falsely charged for gas. Was not a good experience.

Walter DJoe was the representative that assisted me. He noticed the tail light wasn't working on the trailer and he went out of his way to troubleshoot after finding out nothing was wrong with the trailer. He narrowed it down to a fuse blow on my vehicle and I was able to get it replaced before taken off. This is customer service!!! I give Joe and his service center an A+. Thanks again Joe!

SUSAN MWhen I made the reservation, I requested picking up the 26-foot truck and 12-foot trailer at a U-Haul location that is only two miles from the home of the person who was moving. He is elderly and disabled, so I offered to rent the truck and trailer for him and to assist him with the move. It is difficult for him to drive, so a short trip taking me to the truck site would be the least inconvenient. U-Haul - despite THREE separate requests - said my ONLY choice was this location, over a HALF-HOUR drive in Houston rush hour traffic from his home. I called this location, which opens at 8:00 a.m. and told the manager I was on a serious time crunch and needed to pick up the truck and trailer the next morning right at 8:00. He said that would not be a problem. He said he would have the truck and trailer all hooked up and ready when I got there, and HE would be there at 7:40 a.m. so I could depart quickly. NONE of that happened !! 1) I arrived at 7:40 and no one was there. Waited until 8:00 and still no one. He never showed up at all. Finally, one guy arrived, but not the manager I had talked to. 2) The truck and trailer were NOT ready. 3) The truck only had 3/4 of a tank of gas. 4) I had to help the guy hook up the trailer because it's too heavy for one person (I'm 77 years old with a bad shoulder). 5) Then I had to assist him getting the dollies and pads I requested. 6) He also had NO paperwork done. 7) Then the boss - the one who said he'd be there at 7:40 - CALLED my phone and I had to assist him doing all the contract info over the phone, including having to scan and send both sides of my drivers license while standing in the middle of his lot. By the time I actually left the site it was 8:45 and I (and my disabled elderly friend) again had to drive another half-hour back to my friend's home. (Have you been in Houston traffic at 8:00 on a Friday morning? It's a nightmare.) This site promised a lot. But produced a lot of nothing. I'm more upset with U-haul than this location. They had weeks of notice to have a truck and trailer at a much closer location, but chose not to for their convenience, not the customer's. Horrible service.
CHARLES WU-haul provided the worst services possible. The truck rental had endured (3) incidents and the wait time for a response was terrible.

Derrick BOwner was very responsive. U-Haul scheduling messed up the order, but the owner was very helpful. If I ever have to use U-Haul again, I would gladly use this location. U-Haul has not been able to actual fulfill my order on multiple occasions, but the owner here is great.
ZACHARY FReservation method was excellent. I did not like the experience of hitching the trailer though. It was deep in the back of the yard at a weird angle between a uhaul truck and another trailer. Rather than just roll it up and hitch it cleanly, I was asked to reverse and hitch. Driving off with it and not scratching another property was rather difficult. I've had it rolled up to my car at other Uhauls before. I will be looking for a separate location if I ever need another trailer rental.

Corinthians CUnfortunately they were very crowded due to lack of room to park trucks. Good location and guy was more than welcoming and helpful. No hassles about the dirty truck from the previous uhaul dealer. Said he would clean it for his next customer. This guy just needs more space for so many trucks!
