The inside of the truck was dirty. I had to sweep it out. Also, it shut off three times on me and the oil light came on and I think it's revving too fast.

Leeanie IThis place needs a lot more attention to detail. They did not know what was going on with their equipment, truck had a couple bags with garbage and workers were smoking basically next to me. They charged me twice for return fee which I'm actually going to report as well. I don't plan on ever going back.

YVONNEE PDo a complete walk-around (of course), and ensure your contract is accurate. I was told my tank was full, and upon doing my own personal inspection it was only at half tank. I notified the uHaul representative, and they ensured that he will update my account to reflect the actual half tank of gas. Unfortunately, that was not done! A big hassle. Also, the truck was really, really filthy!

joe gMy reservation was confirmed for 9am and I planned my day accordingly. The van was double-booked by UHaul and wasn't due in until 12 noon. I had to spend an extra $40 on Uber to try to keep up with my time-sensitive agenda. UHAUL really screwed me over.
CHARLESA WHad a reservation at 660 Broadway in Newburgh, NY. Arrived at scheduled pick up time and site was closed. Not answering phone. Waited 45 minutes before driving to this location instead. They helped me immediately and I was in my U-Haul in 10 minutes. Very nice people. They said this has happened Before

Ashley PCommunication. I reserve truck on line at one location and when I go to pick up the truck I'm informed that they didn't have any trucks available. So now in rushing to find a replacement truck. The agent called various location and she finally find a truck but the agent at the other location inform her the truck is for 1 way rentals only. Smfh.. I need a truck for 4 hours and the only truck in town is for 1 way rental only. I'm so frustrated and disappointed with uhaul.
James jVery concerned about U-Haul trucks used in Bronx NY as holding vehicles for Covd-19 bodies. Would suggest those vehicles be taken out of service.

Noel TMy original contract with Uhaul on 9W Newburgh, NY was never reviewed and my instructions for payment was never followed. I instructed them to use my credit card on file and they used my sons (Nicholas Gangemi) credit card instead.

JOHN BNicole was very helpful, the overall vehicle,10' Box, was better than expected. A short, but difficult move was greatly expedited.
HOWARD KThe 24/7 self check out application did not work on iPhone. The app asks that you take a picture of any damage on truck and to take a picture of yourself and submit it. The app is not compatible with iPhone Safari so the camera comes up solid black and you can't take the picture. I called customer service and waited for nearly 35 min., explained the issue to be put on hold again. Then explained to yet another person who tells me that the app is only compatible with Chrome browsers and to download that browser! WHAT???? Thankfully the owner of the establishment was on a late call and happened to drive in after hours...to maunually check the truck out for us. Horrible experience with U-Haul but the owner was great.
Dorrie TThe trailer I rented was a piece of junk. Old and should have been taken out of service long ago. We reloaded the trailer 3 times, b ut it still swayed the entire 1400 mile trip at 55mph. I feel like I wasted my money and that i was given this particu\lar trailer to get it out of the northeast fleet and make it somebody else's problem. I will be buying my own trailer for future moves and then selling it when I'm done. Veruy disappointed and the trailer has nothing to do with Julian's. It was dropped off there by a U-Haul representative. I had no choice in trailers.

JOHN BThe actual location and service at the location was good. I was very upset with Uhual scheduling. I was originally scheduled for peekskill NY and then 1 day prior i was scheduled 25 miles away from my original pick up which through my entire move off. I can understand if it was 1 week prior but 1 day is absolutely ridiculous, never again.
Kimoy WJessica and Al are great people. Work very hard to simplify things in an honest professional manner. The shop goes out of its way to insure customer safety, equipment readiness. Is there any better way to do business?
JOHN BScheduling of the truck was an issue. If I did not call multiple times to confirm my reservation the truck would not have been available. Poor scheduling and customer service. Julians location was great! Uhaul customer service needs a makeover big time.

Margaret EThe high beams did not work in drove along a mountain at night with very poor lighting from yhe vehicle which w as dangerous. The vehicle broke down and left me inconvenienced, and the agent gave me no options with the insurance, I was told I had to take the insurance.

STEVEN BParking is tricky and there is little to nothing the site owners can do about.. Just be prepared that you will have to park off site (really close) .. None the less loved the people that worked there. OI haven't been in NY states in a long time and these guys were very "New York" (ofcourse in a good way)

Linda LThe roof had a couple of small holes in it that leaked water and got several boxes of programming books in 'Mom's Attic' wet. Does the insurance I purchased cover this damage?
JOHN LInterior floor was covered in mud. Cab floor was covered with a spilled, sticky beverage, with gravel and soil on the floor, onsteps and in crevices. Windshield was so filthy inside and out it took two cleanings to make clean.
Gail FThe paperwork part of the return was handled efficiently. However, although I stated that I might need help unhitching the trailer from my truck, no attempt was made to assist me. The return person stayed inside the building while I unhitched the trailer myself, disconnected the safety chains and the wiring harness. At no time did the return personnel assist me or even offer to assist me with unhitching the trailer, which I thought was rather strange.

anne mThe truck I rented had over 180 000 miles on it and was in terrible shape. The suspension was almost non-existent as every bump in the road caused the load in the truck to be jarred and jumbled......worst truck I ever rented from UHAUL and probably my last!!!!!!!!! I am sure BUDGET has better equipment.....

Mark CThe amount charged to my card was $60 more then my quote and I stayed way under my allowed millage also the truck had less then a half of tank of fuel when I picked it up and had to return it with 5/8 so that's another $20 I feel like they owe me $80
Andrew CJessica went above & beyond for us to the tune of making my Mom bawl "like Niagara Falls". She(Jessica) is so good at what she does she should either run for Prez. or go to Vegas...NAAAAH! stepahnie hThe truck that I rented had almost 180000 miles on it. When I went to start it the battery was dead. Had to call for roadside assistance, but managed to start it with my own jumper cable. Not a good way to start a move. :-(
