Not very friendly and had a hard time using the tablet to check out the equipment. Took a really long time. Upon return, still Took a longer than usual time and the way he checked in the vehicle was by me telling him were the gas was and the mileage was. He never checked himself. Somehow I feel the numbers are not always correct.

The van smelled like animal urine, the owner of the convient store was not prepared, he had me trying to figure out on an iPad how to complete my reservation and pick up the keys because he was uneducated on the process. I'm confident I was over charged. I mean the store sells meth paraphernalia so knew when I walked on it was going to be unpleasant, I just had no choice because the van I needed was unavailable at all other locations. I definitely recommend going someplace else for better service.
Travis SThe van was filthy, and smelled so bad. It smelled like rancid body odor. There was sticky grim all over the interior of the van, and it just felt gross being in there. The cargo bay of the van had also not been cleaned in some time.

Mona HThe main issue is that you have to find street parking for the truck and the location is in a dense neighborhood without much parking available.
Alvin CI asked at the counter if I could rent one-way and drop off in a nearby suburb. The clerk replied that the vehicle was for local use. I asked if there was an additional fee if I chose to drop off in the suburb and how much it would be. The clerk replied it would be $50. I asked what the drop off locations are in my suburb and was told that any U-Haul place would take it and settle up with me there. I said that I would plan to drop off in the Kent area and continued to check out the vehicle. I had to go back inside to retrieve the packing blankets I'd ordered, and again to point out that the gas tank was only 1/4 full, rather than 3/4 as I was told at the counter. Later that day, I returned the vehicle to a U-Haul facility in Auburn and was told the return fee would be $214. A discussion at that counter evolved into a fruitless speaker phone discussion with their staff and the evening shift clerk at the rental location in which the clerk insisted that what I described would never happen and hung up on us. I was misled from the outset, acted in reliance on that misrepresentation, and was charged a much higher amount than I had agreed upon at check out. I am not happy and cannot recommend this location.
Michael MDid not sign up for the insurance coverage but was charged for it. Disputed it but fell on deaf ears. They didn't really understand what I was disputing on the charge.
Michael DIt was so convenient and I’ll check here first next time I need a van.
Nancy LThe whole process was easy peasy, and great rates🏆
Nichole CThere were some food crumbs and residue from a sugary drink on/around the console, which was pretty minor. The rep is super helpful & personable. This location has worked great for me since moving to west seattle as I don't have a vehicle. I wish you had better rates/mileage costs bcz it costs me ~ $100/day including gas. I'd like to rent more often for hauling furniture or running a carpet to the cleaner/repair company.
Michael FMy experience (both vehicle & staff) was on a par with that of renting from a company owned location. You're not close to my home, but I'll certainly remember you for future vehicle rentals. Merci!
Johnson HThis truck should not have been rented. In very poor shape---in addition to various exterior blemishes, the passenger side lock was popped, and the steering column had been broken, and there was no ramp. The truck barely started and the check engine light was on. If I didn't need to go more than 10 miles and wasn't in a time crunch, I would never have taken it. Unfortunately, it was the only one available at that location.
KRISTIN HLocation we rented from had absolutely no idea what they were doing. we had questions during the check out process and they did not know the answer even though it was general. please get these people training or do not let them be u-haul renters as anyone who is not tech-savy and can figure out how to check out their u-haul on their personal device will struggle. Place was very dirty
Kellie T1. Clean the rentals 2. My rental was accidentally closed two hours before I return my rental. The cashier couldn't find my reservation. I checked my final receipt and I was charge a lot more for miles when I didn't even drive that much. I took pictures.
JOSE GExcellent customer service thank you
Rahelhailu hNot much, the process was quick and easy
Morris LThanks
Randy WIncredibly rude customer service.
Steven SMuch faster than a corporate UHaul store. A little lacking in professionalism, but fast and effective.
MATTHEW LMileage rate to high for local use plus the location didn’t have dollies or blankets.
ALEXANDRA ACheck engine light on. Ran rough. I had to wake up the man at the counter when I came in. Drop off, no clear place to leave the truck. Not a friendly interaction. Out of a convenience store.
Michael BI rented a two dolly's with the truck, which they didn't have when I went to pick it up. It forced me to go to another Uhaul location to rent them and as a consequence, I lost two hours in the rental and next day drop off. Very frustrating.
Joel SStaff at the Juneau market were friendly and efficient. Equipment was easy to access and in great condition!
Richard MDave is a really nice guy who takes good care of customers.
Elizabeth Jthe check-in process needs a bit of smoothing out. otherwise the guy in the store was helpful and it worked out.
David KThe van had 0 % oil.
Brian GVehicle was filthy but it worked. The fish lens mirror on driver side was smashed.
Douglas LSmoother process..
Jason RDirty truck, tagged with gang paint on all four sides. Fuel was below half…
Robert CThere wasn't anything wrong besides asking for a dolly. Paying for a dolly and not receiving one. Had I not been in a rush to move from one side of the city to the other end had no time to go back in between. So, besides that the experience was fine.
Colleen BThis U-Haul place hook me up with the truck when I needed it when the U-Haul on 35th avenue screwed me over in the white guy with the red drop Mazda was hella rude and did not try to accommodate me at all. But this U-Haul on Juneau was a lot better and I got the truck I needed
Nick MThe price jumped up way more than expected. Wish I had been better prepared for that.
ANDREW EGas tank was open, gas was half as full as advertised, a 5 gallon bucket next to the gas tank that the owner had no idea what it was, but wouldn't come check it out, and I was charged $109,9 for an 11 mile, 1 hour rental which was advertised at a $19,95 rental rate.
Zechariah ELocation was inside a convenience store, not a problem just hard to find. When I picked up the Vehicle, there was a nice Gentleman who made it quick and easy to get the rental. However when I returned the Vehicle at 10:50pm another gentleman who seemed like he was in a hurry to close his store, made it complicated and hard to just give the keys back. I asked if I can just drop them off to him or if he wanted me to leave them in the overnight key box. He quickly assumed that I wanted him to go out and check the vehicle and miles that was used. And said " I won't go outside right now because we are closing at 11 and I still have to check the miles and gas, so someone can pay for it". Gentlemen with a lot of attitude who has no customer skills and just wanted to close his store. All I wanted to know is where do I leave the keys for them. Next day I received the bill through my email of what was charged on my card and they overcharged me for more miles then what i used. Good thing I took pictures of the odometer before I left and right when I dropped the vehicle off. I strongly recommend everyone to do the same.
Oscar DProvide better cleaning equipment.
Robert HThis is mostly a review of the on-line/mobile rental experience. There are several problems that I notice with not dealing with a responsible human at the point of sale. First, and most importantly, the vehicle I rented and the vehicle for which I was shown pictures in the application were different. Since the only choices in the application are to approve or dispute each picture, I wasn't sure what to do. I sat on hold for quite a while before being connected to an agent who also didn't know what to do. She suggested I dispute each picture and upload my own pictures. By the time this happened, the application page had expired. This is just incomplete application design: a inability to imagine failure scenarios. Second, I rented the vehicle (and "checked in") more than a day in advance of the rental date. It was only when I arrived at the place where the vehicle was waiting on the rental date, that I was instructed to provide two additional pieces of information about myself. This seemed like illogical timing. Why would I know my employer's phone number? (Most tech employers don't even have a real phone number any more. What would I say the phone number was for Microsoft? Boeing? Amazon?) Also, why in the world would my boss (the person who's phone number I would most likely have) agree to . . . well, I'm not even sure what they would be agreeing to at that point. Needless to say, they can't be added to any contract by me or by U-Haul, so what gives? At least a word or two about what the point of that might have been. Finally, I had to send copies of my driver's license, the scan of the code on the back of the license, and a picture of my face (in addition to all the other information I had already given, which of course includes my driver's license number). This was strange and unexpected and a little more invasive than I remember the rental process to be. I think I will try to avoid renting this way in the future.
Chris KFriendly, efficient pick up and return. Love this place!
MATTHEW CThe original mileage was wrong when picking up the truck which in turn had me charge with more than the mileage I used. The drop off attendant helped vindicate the situation but the time trying to figure it out and the price was much higher than anticipated. Probably not using U- Haul for my next move. Penske it is.
STEPHEN DTruck very good. The truck had not been cleaned. Windshield and front of truck was splattered with large bugs. Potting soil a half inch deep on the passenger side dash board. Inside of box was dirty. Had to put down cardboard to keep our stuff clean. Just a surprise to us
GARY LNo truck available when I went to pick up my truck for reservation. Manager said truck never got dropped off. I was incorrectly charged more than $890 for this mistake, still has yet to be corrected. Please call to resolve ASAP. 253-797-1042
Taylor RThe driver front floor had a lot of sand was not cleaned
RAYMOND BGreat service!!
BRIANMICHAEL PI was overcharged trying to remedy the problem no response from U Haul sent inquire twice
CHARLES JCant. Believe can't offered me a customer service. With my lock up. I have to pay 120 dollar.for. 4. Minutes to somebody else to do it when they could do it.
Hugo MThis location is not a good location to have a Uhaul pickup, especially during COVID. I felt unsafe in many ways during the transactions.. Both during pickup and drop-off the clerk was not wearing his mask properly and took me to the back office to complete the transaction. As a young woman this is particularly disturbing . The clerk gave me the wrong appliance dolly and complained that he wasn't set up properly to handle uhaul rentals.
ASHLEY FI had to wait for a while because the staff had to attain to customers in the store.
Bakary JThey should not be renting out of this facility.
Sydney GThe van was not at the location given. The van was a few blocks away. The attendant made me go into his back office and took his mask off. The van was clearly not cleaned from the last customers, which is a safety concern during a pandemic. The van was very muddy inside. It was confusing since the van was not at the proper location and due to this we were late to pick it up.
JOSEPHINE SThe website feedback popup was annoying on my iPhone X using Safari. Instead of a tab it was a white, blank popup which made it difficult to navigate and read. Numerous attempts to close it by clicking on then "X" failed. I could not find the dropbox location for depositing the keys. After going inside and waiting I was told that it was in a obvious spot. Please provide a photo location in the app.
Tracy AMerci.
Guillermo MThe location was fine and the staff was helpful enough. This doesn't reflect on the location, but overall, the experience was horrible. Uhaul does a very substandard job with their mobile pickup option. They should just discontinue it until they make it much easier to use. Don't waste your time. Just pick up the vehicle the old fashioned way. Uhaul has a very long way to go to improve their mobile offering.
Robert BWhen picking up, clerk was not wearing a mask(per local and state mandate). He also openly complained about U-haul as a company and how they were sending o ky one way rentals, etc. General unprofessionalism. On return there was no clear area to park for the size of truck I was given. Truck was parked in public street parking when picked up. No street parking was available bear drop off location
Joshlin HOnline pick up was difficult to manage. Key pick up location was unclear.
Eric OU haul corporate needs to get their shit together. The pick up location was fine and the associate was great, but the truck I picked up never should have been there in the first place because they are tiny, so my truck was parked on the street a block away because they literally can't get it in the tiny parking lot. And the previous renter must have owned a weed store become that's how the entire Uhaul smelled front and back.
Jacob BVery courteous and helpful
bette bsuper close to my house
Patrick TWhen I called, I asked for a truck from 35th and Morgan location in West Seattle. I was surprised when the reservation showed Juneau Market. West Seattle is a small community. We all know how dirty and run down this Market is and that the workers are usually rude and actually bossy. Please Uhaul, don't show website with the phone number of the wonderful store at 35th and Morgan and then do a "slight -of-hand" and book a truck at Juneau Market. Sincerely Van Zante-Peiser family
JOSHUA RThe manager/ store clerk (friendly guy) was struggling with the internet because he says the owner is too cheap to get a business line so he has poor internet. This is why we had to run my card(s) about 6-7 times. Waiting 5 mins each time. Just as I was about to walk out. And walk a 1/2 mile up hill in the pouring rain to the other location, it finally possessed my payment. I was in the back of a corner store with stuff everywhere and two massive fans blowing in my face as I stood there waiting for my payment to prossess. Also he was 2 hrs late showing up. Complaining about only making $10 phr "so I ain't gotta rush or put up with nobody's shit" He also said I needed to take a pick of the gas and millage because "I ain't allowed to leave the store" which I thought was odd because he was outside smoking when I got there. So that told me before I even went out to the van that it probably hadn't been cleaned. It had not. Not only that but it was pretty gross, with greasy fingerprints on the window switches so that told me that during these very strict time that the things in this van were far from compliant with the laws for public protection from covid19. I had to clean all the handles and steering wheel as well as the dirt, hair, and leaves that were on the seat. Windows were also smudged and hard to see out of when the headlights hit it. I washed the inside and out side of the windows also. The van pulled hard to the right for 400+ miles. And about the four hundred miles. He told me that the quote is what you charge for. So if I say about 400 that's the limit that is set and any over that I'm charged for. That seems so messed up. Nobody tells you that so I just guessed and of course went over. Had I known I was going to be held to the 400 miles I would have made sure I was more accurate or even buffered it by 10 miles or something. And the lady that booked it on the phone was an asshole. Second time I talked to her. Other time was about renting a 5*10 unit and I hung up on her and went to a place cheaper friendlier and more professional. I know some of the things are stupid and may seem minor, but as a whole experience, It was pretty shitty. I will probably not rent there or even from uhaul again. Not worth the hassle and high costs. That includes the pricegouged storage units. I don't care if you are wanting to give me free rentals for life, don't contact me. You guys suck.
Christian SThe cast of characters and personal touch of the experience was appreciated. This was a friendly neighborhood interaction you don't get with most companies.
Peter TFantastic rental!
Kenneth BReally dirty rental store with just one man splitting his time/attention between us and other customers. Took rental service half an hour to do our paperwork and he counted that time against our 4hour rental time, so actually only had 3,5 hours! Rental agent asked us to completely refill gas tank, though it was only 3/4 full when we left his lot. Interior cargo bay needed cleaning.
Randy RWasn't able to get the truck size I reserved. No phone call and showed up being told I had to take the 15' truck which was way too big. Wasn't able to inspect for damage as truck was parked on a busy street. Owner of location tried to get me to return truck somewhere else because he was getting too many parking tickets because they have no parking. Worst uhaul experience ever. Had they just called me to let me know, I would have been able to get the right sized truck from the other uhaul location. Owner was rude when I told him that. Also rude when we dropped it off because he didn't like where we parked it in two hour parking. Took off without checking me back in to move the truck, he. Oils have moved the truck anytime within two hours. Anything for a buck I guess. Next time I'll rent from Enterprise!
JENNIFER Vyou have made this whole experience horrible after calling and being disconnected 4 times ! then I finally get a manager on the phone who assures me i will be discounted (fuel discount ,field discount ) for looking for my truck for almost an hours parked 4 blocks from where its supposed to be the the truck is on E (on reserve fuel 20 miles ) witch i left more than a quarter tank and still was charged over 115$ this needs to be fixed
Andre WThe location was in the back of a small corner market and the trucks were parked all over a residential neighborhood! The older man working the computer was a nice guy, but seemed a bit unsure of the system. We had to forego the appliance dolly because he couldn't get past the demand for some code. Amazingly, not five minutes away was a full service U-Haul location with all the supplies, trucks, etc.
Teresa LFor a corner grocery store operation, it couldn't have gone smoother.
William TVery unprofessional
Soo CThis is a smaller Authorized U-Haul Dealer run out of a convenience store. Staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, polite and thoughtful. I accidentally left a priceless keepsake in the U-Haul glove box, and they went out of their way to make sure I got it back. Impressive in this day and age.
