I brought the gas as I got the equipment. The salesperson did the proper marking the correct gas. The system charge me fir the gas and I am still waiting for my credit. The salesperson was excellent but the equiment rented was so disgusting (dirty) that I couldnt rent it and we had to change to another vehicle which was better than the first one but not clean also.

The clerk was not very proficient. He could not make the system process the rental. After a 1/2 hour, he cancelled the reservation and created a brand new one. I was told that the mileage charge covered gas, but when I returned the van, I was charged extra for gas. The final cost was about $100 more than the estimate. Not a very professional operation. I will try someone other than U-Haul next time.

The lockbox is not near the trucks and is difficult to find. the online log in does not work if you are a minute after the pick up time. The verification is very difficult. Nothing about the process was convenient

No staff present, no signage indicating where would be best to park or where the key drop off box was. I had to ask a clerk at a nearby CVS where to go. It took me 20 minutes to find. Not something I should have to do after a long day of moving. Put signs up.

When given the opportunity to write a review for this Uhaul location, the only word that came to mind was “scathing”. It was a horrible rental experience but I was able to get the job that I needed done. Take what you want from this review but I want to emphasize that this location is very disorganized and not customer friendly. Expect to be inconvenienced.

Best experience with U-haul. I've used U-haul many times over the last 35years. this location frequently for five years. This location is tops for good, clean working vehicles. I've always been accommodated even when I made a very short reservation. This Franchise at this location is TOPS!!!

I could not get the mobil app to work so I had to go into the store. The person at the counter never got off her personal phone call to help me. She just pointed at a number and said "call there." When I got to the truck it was covered in snow and ice, the inside was dirty, and the blankets from the last customer were still in the cab. I had to unload the blankets myself at the back door.

Terrible check in. Online didn't work had to go over all detail No remote check in Truck wasn't cleaned. Dirty tissues in cup holders. Someone's mask on the dash. Hadn't been cleaned for covid. Couldn't find truck in pouring rain. Guy found it eventually ordered furniture pads. Not put in the truck Ordered boxes online check In. Wasnt told at any point they didn't have boxes.

Make sure you don't have a reserved truck to someone else that did not have my information on hand and lie to me and say I picked it up already then keep me in the location for over one hour to figure what you did wrong making me late for my appointment. I was also received 2 invoices. One for the old truck I didn't receive and one for the truck given. This is a big problem.

The guy who was handling the liquor stor business was busy with the liquor business. He actually did his best to accommodate his customers' needs throughout. However, there is no guarantee or actually no way for the trucks to be cleaned between customers. It is an absolute dangerous practice for u haul to allow this to happen. And i will not recommend both the location and business to anyone. Absolutely red zone for covid

First, when i got there. I must have underestimated how beer and wine store could rent U-Haul trucks. But it was very nice to have the pickup and dropping place in shopping center where this store was located. you can park your own car do your delivery and come back without worrying where to park your private parking place. Good job to U-Haul for such creative services!.

Make sure the location employees know how to use the system instead having to call a manager and have us, the clients wait for an hour. Also I was charged for extra gas when I brought back the truck closer to the target gas amount. I am really unhappy with this rental experience. I reserved a one way rental and had to reserve at two different locations just to go back to the one that treated me poorly and not be able to do a one way rental. The truck was not clean and smelled like smoke and Body Oder. I would like to be refunded for the gas please. This was bad experience and business deal overall.

I rented furniture dollys And a hand truck when I arrived nothing was available only one guy available to run a liquor store and rent trucks. One guy before me left for waiting to long. I was told to go look for a hand truck and found one in the back of the store

Faster processing and giving keys, specially when check in was filled prior. Also, uHaul needs to start giving extra discount when filling gas more than what it had. Be different and better than the competition. My truck was half filled and I returned it full. Almost 60 dollars difference. What did I get? Nothing. That's horrible. Even If I got a 10-15 dollar discount based on this it would've made me A happier customer and recommend uHaul over the competition.

Despite signing up online, I still had to come into the office to re-do the reservation. The truck was not ready for me when I arrived. As this is a wine/beer store and rental establishment, the agent left me 6 times to help other customers. The location is convenient, but otherwise I wouldn't use it again.

they charged us for a furniture (1) dolly we did not receive or asked for. It took them from 3:00pm to 5:30pm to process our paperwork in the mist of computer challenges with their system, and customers because the store front (key word STORE) is multi-tasking customers point of sale transactions/ lottery tickets. Did I mention we started at 3 pm and left at 5:30 pm being charged for a dolly we did not receive. Icing on the cake, we missed our window for the loading dock at the apartment, and the would not let us bring the truck back at the same time we left 5:30pm; from our 24 hr.,window.

Make sure that the vehicle is clean. There was a considerable amount of broken glass in the cargo compartment. If we had left such a mess, I am sure that we would have been charged a cleaning fee. We feel we are entitled to the same amount deducted from the cost of our rental. Not only would I not recommend this location to a friend, I would actively discourage that friend from renting at this location.

The store was supposed to be open at 10am and did not open until 10:15am. I was told there were no blankets even though I had ordered a dozen. Finally I ws told there were some in a back shed. Most of the blankets were wet which made them unusable for wrapping art work which is why I got them.

I registered online. The store clerk said he couldn't find the reservation and we went through a LENGTHY process with interruptions (to buy cigarettes, to speak with someone who came into the store) to register. And then he said I had signed up for $14 insurance which I had not done. And btw, I thought he did not have my reservation!!! When I checked out, the miles I actually drove did not matter. The clerk (a different one) was totally befuddled when I asked about paying for actual miles rather than estimated miles. Would YOU use U-Haul?

I was very unsatisfied with this Uhaul experience. I did mobile check-in which was an annoying process (not the location's fault) as it wasn't mentioned up front that additional verification would be needed. If someone didn't have their passport or a friend who was readily available to take a call from Uhaul, they would have been stuck. It took a good 20 minutes, and this ate into the rental time. On top of the 20 minutes, I stood in line at the location for an additional 15 to wait for keys. Already, this was 35 minutes into a 4 hour rental. I got to my home where I was moving a baby grand piano, opened the truck to find there was no ramp, and no moving protection blankets that I had been charged for. I had to take a ramp from my storage pod to use with the Uhaul truck, and wrap my piano in curtains, bubble wrap, and a foam mattress topper (which is now unusable). As the ramp from the pod was too long to fit in my family member's car after moving the piano, we had to take the truck back to my house (which was out of the way back to the Uhaul location), drop off the ramp, and then drive to the location to drop off the truck. Because of all the wasted time with lack of resources that Uhaul should have provided, I ended up exceeding the 4 hour rental time and had it for over 6 hours. I lodged a complaint with customer service as this is totally unacceptable. I will not be using this location ever again.

truck in original location was not there when i needed they changed locations out of my way i went to new location and they said i was lucky because i was late picking up, drove straight there, truck was not cleaned, in this environment almost criminal, trash including a used face mask was on dash, clearly no one had checked the truck, gas was less than they said, again no one could have check gas or mileage or you have bigger problems that they didnt even bother to clean obvious trash, promised 50.00 for inconvenience truck not being where promised, been on phone for 2 hours now and still all i get is a bill larger than i was originally quoted. how could anyone possibly, legally let that truck out in this covid world without cleaning, putting my life in danger. i had no choice as my daughter had to move and the dock was only available at the times reserved, we barely made that. i dont understand any of this , but the bill keeps coming even after promises of changing. promised a call from someone in charge, nothing. what should i do,
