ALBERTO CISNEROSFirst, booked a 20' truck for pickup at a Lakeside location. Thye said they didnt have one even though it said it was available. They then sent me over to Kenwood Market and there it was double the price of my original booking(I took gas into account for both). Kenwood Market were nice people but the entire situation made me never want to rent through UHaul again.

YONNAS MEDHANIEHave dollies available as advertised. I rented and payed for one but no dollies were available at that location. Trying to locate one nearby was to much of a hastle. Hope that I get a refund for that charge.
James LaineStaff was rude and not helpful. Told me to call U-Haul customer service to get my rental. Even the rep I was speaking to from U-Haul did not understand why they were being so difficult. She called the store and they ended up passing the phone off to me which frustrated her and I both even more. Truck was dirty, obviously not maintained as it would rev high from a slipping transmission. Tires felt off and super bouncy. Overall horrible experience and would not give them a penny again.

Katherine JohnsonThis is a liquor store that serves as Uhaul location. The personnel were nice and courteous but they had trouble getting my transaction and the transaction before me going. They spent a lot of time on the phone with I am assuming someone from uhaul trying to fix whatever was not working.

Angela WattsI was charged $28 for not filling the gas to the line and It was barely used. Other locations have met that slide . Charged $28 for $5 of gas.
Dawn LongardinoFuel tank was empty when I picked it up had to put 17 gallons of fuel to reach 1/4 tank only drove I haul 27 miles round trip to move stuff. Wind up costing me 160 rental and gas 90 fir rental and rest gas. Uhaul rental place said they would charge me to fill tank 1/4 full anyway so I filled it with 17 gallons to reach 1/4 tank I only drove 27 miles round trip. $100 in gas only drove 27 miles!

TRACY PENNERU-Haul is part of a liquor store, so for check-in and check-out I had to wait in line with store customers. For check-out, liquor store was busy. Wait was long, then when they got to me they just took the keys and said they'd email me a receipt so they could help the next liquor store customer, instead of checking me out.

It is smaller but the time to get processed and on the road was extremely quick. Clairmont Mesa was a very good facility but also very popular and a long line to get waited on. I would definitely go to this location again.

julie blackmoreUnfriendly - plus when I called the 800# to extend another 24 hours until noon the following day, they said I had to return the truck by 6 pm that day instead - so I was charged for 24 hours and only received 6 hours and there was no reason that truck had to be back - no pending reservation, etc. that location had a dozen trucks parked there and no customers when I was told I could not keep it another 24 hours until noon the following day. DISSATISFIED!!!
MARY SWEENEYTell them not to use the online 24/7 service. It is a travesty. The site is slow with numerous errors, the agents don't review the documentation.
