People were great on both ends, Corpus people were especially helpful, everything went as well as I could have hoped for. I'll be using you again when the Corpus house sells.
THOMAS KStaff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The rental process went very smooth. The truck's windshield was very dirty and the cargo area of the truck had not been swept before I received it.
Alan HI reserved the truck online and put in an estimated miles. Upon picking up the truck I asked the question - if I drive less than the estiamted miles, will I get charged the extra miles? The person I spoke with said yes, I questioned it and he said that's UHaul policy. I had to leave quickly so I left. I returned the truck after hitting gas to the same level it was given to me at. I raised the questions about miles again and the same person said I had to call UHaul direcly to dispute it. I called UHaul and they said that's not the case, you'll have to wait until the reservation was closed out. I got the receipt the next day and I only got charged the miles I drove, but I got a fee for gasoline. I filled it up to the same level - I feel like this place was out to take my money. I'll never rent from here again, and I will be calling UHaul to talk through this.
DANNY VI did an after hours drop off. They sent me the receipt the next day, super easy. Only suggestion and its not for the location but for the drop boxes, put the drop off instruction QR code on the outside of the box. I did not lift it fully at first and dropped the keys in before reading the lid.

Georgette CWhen I went to drop off the trailer, everything was fine except there was no convenient place to park the trailer. As I was checking out, I asked if it would be better if I backed the trailer into an appropriate spot, but I would need a car moved to do that. I backed the trailer in to the spot, but there was no one to unhook the trailer so I had to do it myself!! Not the service I expected!!

John DThe 9' van was in great condition and was very easy to drive. The rental check out process online was a little different each time we rented it but we were able to get the van dispatched with only a little frustration. Returning the van was simple and easy! Overall the Uhaul rental was a huge help during our move!
Lesley FLove the self service aspect of pickup and drop off without having to go to desk.. support was available with a short wait to assist with an app issue but was resolved quickly and also stayed online to ensure no other issues as we completed transaction.. excellent!!!

charles gThey said there was more gas then there was when I got it and charged me and said I drove 30 miles when I haven't and was told it was 54$ after everything when I drop the truck and try to charge me 154$? Why would I pay that when the U-Haul place across from the storage give me the big truck for 8 hours cheaper one price, not a good experience

Mark MThe location didn't go over anything with me and almost seemed bothered I was there. The truck was filthy. At one point one of the windshield wiper blades fell off. Also, all of the boxes I had in the back of the truck near the overhead door got soaked. It was an overall horrible experience.

Paul SI dropped off the truck at 7:45 am on November 30th. They don't open until 8 am, so I left the keys/contract in the drop box provided. The truck wasn't processed as returned until 10:03 am on December 1st. So, I am getting charged an extra day of $40 all because they didn't process it. Not using this place again.
Michael KThe only employee present spoke no English and wasn't interested in trying to communicate with me. I ended up leaving the trailer after first taking pictures to document its condition. This was after the first location could be found by Apple Maps. Something weird, but I couldn't find it by driving up and down the street for several miles. When I went online looking for another location, the nearest had a 1-star rating at yelp, so I didn't want to go there. I called the help line and a nice lady offered to redirect me. As my comments above indicate, this place should also have a 1-star rating. In sum, my drop-off experience was very sub-par. Dissapppointing.

Did not help us hook up the trailer and actually disappeared after we checked in. Did finally come over when I went to find him and asked him to check if the trailer was connected correctly.

Carl MCustomer service was slow and could be more professional. While working on my rental, employee stopped and checked a cellphone. After longer than I expected to complete the agreement, he handed me the keys. I had to ask which truck it was. He had to ask and then pointed. I submitted the vehicle check in referring to the urine smell in the cab. After driving for 30 minutes, a warning light came on. "Service tire pressure monitor". I pulled into a service station and contacted Roadside Assistance. Employee called and I was told the vehicle did not have the technology to determine which tire was low. I was assured I could continue on. After my pick up I made the inconvenient choice to back track to the UHaul in Crystal Lake. There, Will was very knowledgeable and helpful. He determined that two tires were low. All should be at 80 PSI and one was at 20 PSI. He installed the technology, filled the tires and had me wait to determine if it would maintain pressure. I was able to drive the additional 35 miles (in the rain). I unloaded and even though I had until noon the next day, parked the truck at the rental location so I would not find a flat tire in my driveway in the morning. Many unnecessary miles, 2 additional hours, and Roadsside Assistance, this all could have been avoided by the pick up location checking the truck prior to renting. Fortunately I used good judgement and found a very responsible and helpful employee, Will.

Apollonia BThis was the second reservation I had to make today. The first one had no vehicle and was closed but i was still able to make a reservation. This reservation was having the same issue but after wasting some time then leaving the location and trying to rent a truck from home depot it was changed to the mobile 24/7 rental. During the check in process the website ran into errors and i couldn't proceed further. After trying several times i got an email confirming the pickup so i gave up on the website and went on my way. The van was great but the mobile rental is very clunky. Took 3 hours to get a van rental for am hour and a half job...
Robert SI handed my key in and said I was returning a truck. He said ok. I asked if there was anything I needed to do and he said no. Since I was dropping off one day early I had not yet received the text from uhaul so I had to go back to the location and do the check in and pictures on my phone. I wish he would have just told me while I was there the first time.

JAMES SWhen I googled U-Haul locations this one did not pop up. I was on my way to the one on Rand road and Camp McDonald and saw this one passing by. The man was very helpful. We were in and out!
Charles UI was charged $28 for gas even though i filled it up to the same level it was when i took the truck. Disappointing.

Linda SWhen i picked up trunk drivers door wouldnt unlock. Had to get into the passenger door. They said it ha 3/4 it didnt i took a picture. When i returned i fileed to the same level i took a picture. They still charged me a fuel charge. Im going to try to get a refund.
Wayne KThe Operator did not understand that I completed all information online and I had share my Drivers license and give him all the information on application for rental again. I would advise UHAUL Corporate to do a better job of instructing your third party licensed agencies of how to give the customer a seamless process of providing the customer a better experience with less hassel.

SCOTT FNo one was wearing masks. When approached at the service desk no one put on a mask while within 6 ft. This is why America is in the place that we are during the covid pandemic.

GARY GWhen I return the vehicle the guy told me I could leave without any paper work, verifying odometer, anything. Later I was shocked when I saw $5,1xx.xx in my on line bank statement based on wrong mileage. I did not get credit for that since it had happened more than a week ago.

Terry GWe are currently in a pandemic and the person that helped us did not wear a mask. I am a person at high risk and that made me uncomfortable however I did not say anything to him. We also never received a call letting us know this was where to pick up the truck and had gone to a closer location (the one I requested and the one listed in my email) only to be told I had to go somewhere else.
